  If I could give zero stars, I would. I placed my order for checks for the first time with this company, due to a Google search. It was clear on their website they wanted me to buy their protection on checks for an additional cost, I declined. I also declined their rush shipping. Standard checks and standard shipping should be perfectly fine between Colorado (their headquarters) and Oklahoma (where I live). It's been 20 days since my checks shipped. The email from Checks Unlimited said here's your tracking number, but it was blank. When I questioned them about this, it took four days for a reply. Their reply was this "standard shipping." So their reply to my inquiry about my product was two words. What does that mean? Does it mean I don't get a tracking number? I replied and asked for a professional responses two days ago and still have not received a response. So, I assume I'll have to close my checking account because my checks have not arrived. And I cannot get a response from their customer service even though a case has been placed. Absolutely would not do business with this company again. And I had such high hopes of the experience being a good one.

  Buyer beware! The advertised price is not what they want to charge. I had an order from two years ago that worked fine but needed some fine tuning on the reorder. The representative, Stacie, went through the entire order, all the way up until the amount to be charged. When I asked about the total being $75 too much, Stacie wouldn't go through the addition with me. She cancelled that order, told me to place the order through the internet and actually said that I had "wasted her company's time." So instead of an order of $150, she preferred the order of ZERO. Reputable companies do not treat customers that way. It definitely was a waste of my time. Go elsewhere for your printing needs. And the BBB Rating needs to be downgraded!

  total scam! fraud fraud fraud - do not do business with these crooks! they use multiple business names and offer custom photo checks. immediately the transaction for the check order was flagged as fraud with our credit card company, but we knew we had placed the order and approved the transaction, but it still wouldn't go through, so we used another credit card. horrible experience!!! both credit cards were compromised and we had to get new cards. we called about the check order and the woman was a total b***h and blamed us for not paying extra for expedited service. months have gone by and we have received nothing! they are scammers and frauds - not worth the hassle, get plain-jane checks from your bank!!! avoid all online companies offering custom photo checks - they all track back to this company and they are all scammers!!! artistic checks, directs checks, checks unlimited, and several other names - all fraudsters and creeps!!!

  They quoted a special price on checks. Then get a bill for twice as much as told Things added to invoice I did not ask for They do not let you go back to site and see order that you did

  Poor Customer service, sassy manager named Lois spoken to on 02/10/24. This company is over charging, i was charged for 4 boxes of checks & only received 2, a manager via phone call on 02/07/24 , indicated i'd be getting 2 more boxes in the mail. Spoke to another manager today 02/10/24 via phone call, she stated i got all my checks in 2 boxes, told her they giving conflicting info & needed to refund me for 4 boxes. Artistic checks provided an incorrect tracking number. I paid a fee for shipping-TRACKING service & when I used the tracking number provided it noted not found on USPS site & there was a link provided after the tracking number & that link went to UPS carrier site & note saying not found. I advised Artistic Checks via e-mail of this issue & then phone called about incorrect tracking number got 2 different responses. Demanded a refund today for the shipping tracking charge & overcharging of 2 boxes. Told Lois i'd call vack on Monday to talk to a higher manager she was rude & cocky needs to be fired. They've lost my business moving foward Do NOT do business with this Company & Direct Checks.

  Called Artistic on 02/12/24 spoke to a male manager he indicated that only 2 boxes were sent with all 320 checks i ordered & the system showed they'd refund me for the shipping-tracking charge & for 2 boxes ,said refund would take a while . We shall see.

  Be aware that expedited printing and shipping does not include the accessories. I paid extra to have everything expedited, but I did not read the fine print on the accessories apparently. I called to get the status, and the customer service person was extremely rude and had no idea when I would get the checkbook. Also, no information when you submit for shipping info on their website. Poor service.

  Paid almost $50.00 (this was with a coupon code) for 80 checks... not 100. 80. They do not give you a description of what you ordered in your email or on the website when you go to the order status.

  Checks Unlimited let a customer of mine order over 100 checks using my business bank and routing number. They are refusing to cooperate with police. Checks unlimited is a scam

  If you want to spend every week on hold with customer service trying to receive your purchase, this is the place for you! It's been one month and they still claim "standard shipping takes that long". Nope. Even in business days shipping from Kansas to Illinois doesn't take this long. They keep telling me "next week we can refund". Next week apparently never comes.
