      I truly feel Cigna should be reported to the attorney journal.. I I appealed my claim several times for my dental crown which is clearly part of coverage.. I have had other crowns previously paid and now all of sudden they are refusing to pay .. if anyone has Cigna do not sign up..

      Thieves. Switched from Aetna, life savings medication went from free to over $100/month. seb derm meds went from $2/no to $60/mo.

      There's a reason consumer affairs has Cigna rated at a 1.2. "Lung transplants are not a standard treatment for lung cancer."Our coverage guidelines are grounded in national clinical standards to help ensure the best possible outcomes for patients," Cigna Healthcare said in a statement."They don't care, just like every other health insurance company. Health insurance is a SCAM just like auto insurance or any other insurance out there. We the people need to stand up and end this BS! Healthcare should be free and it should cover treatments that SAVE LIVES NOT KILL PEOPLE!!!!!

      I called to make my kids monthly payment and they told me I could not without a representative form being filled out. When I asked when the policy went into effect because I had never heard of this before they could not tell when the policy was made. I then asked to speak to a supervisor as I am only trying to make a payment and the agent told me the supervisor will tell me the same thing. I finally spoke to the supervisor and she said I have to make it through the automated system which was fine with me. I will be switching companies as this was entire ordeal was unnecessary.

      Cigna keeps denying medication prescribed by my doctor. It says Prior Auth does not meet criteria. First, insurance should not question a reason a doctor prescribes a medication. The same medication, each month. Cigna keeps telling me to pay out of pocket. I feel I am deliberately being targeted for being a diabetic and they purposely deny all diabetic medications. They are very evasive and will not provide me with copies of what my doctor sends them. My doctor claims he sends them everything they ask for. When a patient needs medication, it means it is necessary for health and well-being. Cigna nor any other insurance company should not be able to dictate what medications our treating primary physicians prescribe. I keep getting denial letters from Cigna stating I am not diabetic ????!!!!! Fraud, crooked, unprofessional.

      whish i could leave 0 stars. Imagine having three auto immune diseases and multiple health complications and issues. Imagine three years ago you had BCBS health insurance and were on a amazing infusion for your arthritis, gut issues, and psoriasis. It had made you feel like a person again. You go move and go about your day. Then your husbands billion dollar company wants to use CIGNA. WORT MISTAKE THEY HAVE MADE. They completely took me off my infusion and would not cover it. They made me get on a NEW MEDICATION for a kick back i am sure, because we all know it still happens despite it being illegal. Then make me use a specialty pharmacy that ***** A** they delay, delay, delay, and take your money. DO NOT EVER USE CIGNA IF YOU HAVE HEALTH ISSUES :)

      The only reason I gave Cigna one star was because I could not rate them any lower. My benefits period begins in September and ends in August of the next year. Naturally my deductible begins in September. However, Cigna reset my deductible in January. In effect I am being charged a second deductible in one benefit period. At this point I would rather not have any insurance than what I have now. If you have Cigna find another insurance carrier.

      Nothing but problems with CIGNA Dental coverage. Denied a claim, customer service advised to submit a specific form for coverage, CIGNA denied the submitted request because it was past a 30 day window where they might hv3 approved - I didnt know the claim was denied within the 30 day window. Now I can file an appeal but low hopes for any coverage.

      Thieves!!! Do not get cigna. I had canceled my ins in January and 2 months later they steal $576.60 out of my account i have called and they will not refund my money.
