      I have used IBX insurance for years. Over a year ago I had a very bad accident that took months to recover from. Even though I'm now physically recovered, I'm still dealing with claims that haven't been processed properly. I'm down to getting the final claim taken care of and it's still unresolved. Every time I speak on the phone with a customer service representative for this particular claim (typically after waiting on hold for over 20 minutes, sometimes after being hung up on and needing to call again, or sometimes getting on the phone and being told they can't hear me because of connection issues and then being hung up on) they say the claim will be resubmitted for processing because they can see it wasn't done correctly and the provider will be paid and I'm not responsible. I then call the provider to make them aware, so I'm not put in collections. Wait two months hear nothing back until I receive a new letter requesting a payment from the provider. On today's attempt to get this resolved, I'm on my 3rd attempt just to speak with someone on the phone without being hung up on. This is unacceptable! I'm lucky I'm not still physically ill from my injury because I can't imagine putting in this amount of effort while still being sick. I wish I could select 0 stars.

      I never felt so humiliated in my life, is like I am begging from them to serve me while I am paying every month. IBX plan is the plan my company offer to its employees so I cannot choose anything different. Since day one I had issues. For example, to set up my internet account was a nightmare, why? Because I am a foreigner with a lot of last names and the system does not have space! Another example, every claim is denied because the name never matchs. Lastly, they changed the system to submit claims making harder. Why? So they cannot pay us? So you submit the form on the new system and disapear.

      Hello,I am reaching out to write a complaint regarding my account, and never being able to get an answer to help me solve a simple issue. (Please help) I have called and spoke to 5 different people on different occasions, and have been given the run around. I was told I would receive a call back from each person, and never did. There is a credit on my account, where I am not being charged each month, because of it. I have the automatic payment set up. My issue is that I have no idea where this credit is coming from, and believe it is a system error. My concern is-If this is an error, you all could come back later and tell me that I owe a ton of money. Attached, you will find my medical account that has the credit on it, as well as the dental account that tells me I owe money on a statement. When speaking to a representative each time, I was told that they are unsure why the credit is there, and that they can't reach the internal team directly for issues. They mentioned that they can only send emails. They also mentioned that they will call me back to assist, and never do. When I;ve asked about the dental account, I am told that I am up to date with payments, and that there may be a glitch in the system. The glitch has not been fixed since December of 2023? This is ridiculous, confusing, and completely unprofessional. I pay money to be secured, and feel that I cannot depend on IBX to help me feel secure at all. Please assist with this issue ASAP, or point me to the person that can actually HELP AND SOLVE this issue, and someone that will actually help me solve it. Please do not just pass me around again.       I want to say that this organization is the absolutely worst place to work for! I started out as a **************** Representative in operations and was under **********************************. This Supervisor is very cut-throat and will throw you under the bus in order to get her way to the top. Then I wind up getting a promotion as a Senior Issue Resolution Specialist position in Partnership Support working under very bad leadership. The manager ********************************* and the supervisor *************************** are extremely prime examples of horrible leadership and have no clue on how to manage a team. I brought a serious issue one day to *************************** and she started talking about her fancy exotic trips and how she was going to get all glammed up for her baby daddy on a date night. Very unprofessional!

      HORRIBLE ! Waited on the phone for 20 minutes. Reached an outsourced Customer Service Agency. Static was so bad on the phone that the customer service agent hung up.
      Dialed back in and the wait time is now 25 minutes.
      Website is completely revamped and missing previous payment information.

      My husband had an accident that resulted in right leg amputation at the knee in March 2023.
      Our policy covers prosthesis. Our policy states a K-3 amputee does not require a temporary prosthetic- my husband is K-3. This is breach of contract not to mention inhumane treatment of a living being. Letters from his orthopedic surgeon, cardiologist and PCP have been submitted and fallen on deaf ears. All of these medical professionals know him have examined him and have his best interest in mind. No one on your medical board or review board has taken the initiative to reach out to any of these medical professionals. My husband is a chiropractor and a business owner and has been for the past 30 years. He has many many years left to practice his profession and you have stripped him of this right. During this inhumane treatment, his business/practice has suffered at your hands. You are not only impacting his business, you are single handedly ruining his life not to mention the life of his wife and children. All he wants to do is continue living. This man can’t even go into a grocery store to pick up milk for his family. This man has to scoot up and down the stairs every day just to go to bed. He deserves dignity as a human being and you are stripping him of this right. I have contacted our local news station and politicians to inform them of your poor business practices.
      I’m not sure how you people sleep at night.
      4 times our appeals have been denied….. absolutely disgusting

      A disgrace. I have confirmation numbers of payments. They haven’t provided insurance since August, saying that I never paid them. I am still trying to get my $1100 that they owe me for payments they “ didn’t receive” but was taken out of my bank account. I’m on hold again but getting ready to file a formal complaint.

      I had their keystone east plan for health insurance thru penny. It was canceled effective August 1, 2023 and continue receiving bills montly with past due amounts for when i did not have their insurance. I was never told that anything had to be cancelled thru Penny until my last call. I then placed a call to them and informed them. Use to be that IBC was a good insurance. They sure changed my mind on that

      I have been trying to get a medication covered by my plan since January, it is now the middle of August, After filing an appeal and getting denied, I find out they are just not going to cover it,
      I would not recommend this company to my worst enemy. There customer service is incompetent, they do not listen, and the reps cannot handle a call correctly. Independence is completely run by greed and has no interest in providing decent coverage for their members.

      If I could give 0 stars I would! What a greedy, greedy company! A year ago they refunded me saying they overcharged me, now a year later they say oops sorry that was wrong give that money back, when I tried to contest it they threatened to throw me off the insurance and report me to a collections agency! Wow, what a pathetic, selfish, greedy company!
