  I warn you don’t buy a boxtruck from Penske. The company will lie from the beginning to the end. It took me finally a month to get my boxtruck for my business and then still took a week to get my title documents to get tags from the DMV (North Carolina). They base all there rules out of PA. So if you’re not in PA be warned it will take over a month to get a truck even if the truck is already in your state. Once I finally got my truck less then a week later my transmission was already shifting terrible. I made them take the truck back and they will put a new transmission or rebuilt one in. But I’m a business owner and need the truck daily. As well drive over 100 miles a day. They say they will review my rental fees but not the miles I drive everyday. So Penske isn’t taking full responsibility of selling me a lemon. They should be paying for my miles and daily rates on my rental truck. The whole process with Penske has been a hassle. Save yourself time and the hassle look somewhere else for your Truck needs. *** I would give no stars. But you can’t submit without giving them one star. ***

  Penske Truck Rental is duplicitious in their rental practices. If I could give Penske Truck Rental a ZERO I would!! We rented a cargo van for a one-way trip from Florida to RI. We completed the rental reservation online with a credit card payment 10 days ago. We received our confirmation information. The shady, deceitful, duplicitous part is when arriving at the Home Depot location we were to pick-up our cargo van there was NO VAN. The only available truck was a 12-foot box truck, which is a MUCH larger truck than what we rented. The truck has no safety features, -back up camera, back up mirrors, etc...- Nothing! When we questioned the situation the employee who was working proceeded to let us know that they never have cargo vans. It is well known with Penske that there are no cargo vans to be rented in Florida. We then called Penske customer service and spoke with a customer service rep who gave us a typical corporate line of "Oh they are just out of them". We then spoke to Don, the District Manager, who was even more usless. His response was that he basically confirmed that there was NEVER a possibility of us renting a cargo van and they do not have cargo vans in all of the State of Florida. Because we have our hands tied without a truck we have to take the 12 foot monster truck without safety features, purchase an extra $450 worth of insurance and drive 1300 miles risking life and limb. This is happening in real time- August 4, 2022. My advice to anyone who reads this is to NOT RENT FROM PENSKE!! Their practices are misleading and fraudulent, as well as their customer service is rude, disrespectful and derelict.

  The same problem everyone else is saying. That my truck would be ready but I have been waiting months in a different state to pick it up and penski won't even give me am eta. It's costing me thousands.

  Buyer beware, stay away from this company, recently bought truck from Penske, after see the reviews, I decided to back up,eventhou i loss 500 , it’s okay, but the manager (Meredith), call me ask me why?, I explained to her about the reviews, she said she will send the truck to my location for free of charge,wow that the offer I cannot say no, ( I thought I will give 5 star), But then I told her I will paid the truck cash, she assumed I will use the finance company, I explained to her the reason I want to finance because I didn’t see the truck physically, since she send the truck to my location, I’m not scare anymore, I don’t want to pay the high interest,after more than a month finally the truck arrived, so I hire my mechanic take alook, some issue need to be addressed, it took another 3 weeks, ( during wait time is so excruciating, they keep promise, never have update, I have to emailed them 3-4 time a week to update), finally it’s done, paid everything cash pick it up, I ask the person so I still have 15 days warranty right?? He said I don’t know, you call the sales person,, that is very rude, within a week I find another problem, report it , they said wait 48 hour to find where and when I can fixed it,, it’s been more than 2 week , no update yet??, I emailed her she not in office, gave me another person email, I did emailed 2 times, no response, they just ghost on me, I wish have zero star, I bought from Penske the biggest leasing truck company in usa I thought they will professional about doing business, unfortunately I’m wrong , stay away from this company, they didn’t have professionalism, I regret bought from them..????
