      I became a member of the Warren location of Anytime Fitness back in September of 2021. I signed a contract for a year membership and a personal trainer and was happy with it for about 6 months, then it all went down hill. They ended up in a legal battle with the personal trainer and wanted to continue to bill me for it, after contacting them via email I was able to cancel that but continued my membership. That was fine but shortly after they were unable to keep any kind of employees for very long. I wanted to end the membership and was told to wait until my year was over. I did and when I tried to cancel no one was ever there to help. I called, emailed, and contacted the 1800 number to no avail. I finally got someone on the phone and told me that I had to go into the business to cancel, I have tried but they have no employees there. I honestly don't even want my money back at this point I just want this nightmare to stop. It is impossible to cancel this membership, buyer beware!

      After taking a look at ****** account and agreement, he signed for 36 months of which he has 14 months remaining. I have attached the signed agreement. While we would love to have him back as an active member, we understand things happen. If **** does not wish to continue using his membership account, he can freeze his account for up to 90 days or opt to buy out early. Our staff will be in touch to communicate his options.

      I signed up with AnyTime Fitness in St Marys, PA on 11/24/2021 for a year-long membership for $14.99 twice monthly. I was not given a copy of my contract. In December when my contract should have ended, I was still being charged for a membership. I attempted to end my membership manually, but was told to call a customer service number. The lady I talked to told me I had three options to cancel my membership: provide proof of moving 30+ miles from the club, give proof of disability, or a $150 buyout. I don't feel that I should have to pay the $150 buyout as my contract has expired, yet they continue to take it out of my bank account despite me not using their services in months. I just want the membership cancelled and them to stop taking it out of my bank account.

      After reviewing this account, it appears the membership did expire on 11/23/22. However, there were (4) payments processed after, for a total of $59.96 which I called in a refund for today (2/14/23) and the funds will be back in the members account within the next 3-5 business days. It looks like some of the payments were pushed out to total 26 payments over 12 months (which is correct due to 52 weeks and every other week equals 26 weeks of payments), however, since those last (4) payments were pushed out after expiration, we went ahead with the refund. Hopefully this makes sense, and we are absolutely happy to speak with ******* more on this matter if she would like. Thank you.

      My contract with Anytime Fitness was up on January 2, 2023. Manager at Warren, PA gym refused to cancel membership. She told me to call the billing department. I called the billing department. The associate I spoke with could barely understand me as she spoke very broken English. She told me she would cancel it. My bank account weeks later is still being charged. This gym is doing many illegal practices. They charged my account during covid when everything was shut down when I couldn’t use this service. They refused to credit me back. I would just like them to stop charging my account as my membership is over.

      We will reach out to *****. She signed a 3-year contract on 1/2/2020 which is up in two more months. The two-month discrepancy is due to a 2-month freeze that was placed on her account in May 2022. We did turn off the auto-renew, once these last two months are completed and fully paid at $33.90, the account is set to automatically cancel out.

      I HAD A 36 MONTH CONTRACT WITH ANYTIME FITNESS AND IT ENDED. I NO LONGER WISH TO USE THE FACILITY AND HAVE GONE THROUGH EVERY PROCESS (NEARLY 2 MONTHS NOW TRYING) TO END MY MEMBERHSHIP. I HAVE CALLED AND EMAILED THE GYM WITH LITTLE OR NO RESPONSE. I WAS GIVEN ( THROUGH AN EMAIL) A NUMBER I COULD CALL TO CANCEL WHICH I PROMPTLY CALLED ( TWICE NOW) ONLY TO BE TOLD THEY CANNOT "OPT ME OUT" THEY ARE A 3RD PARTY FEE COLLECTION COMPANY. I HAVE LEFT MULTIPLE MESSAGES AT THE FACILITY FOR THEM TO CALL ME BACK WITH NO RETURN CALLS.
