I placed an order with this company on 11/29/23. I received a confirmation email and my credit card was charged. After a week and not hearing anything further from the company regarding the shipment of my order I sent them an email. I didn't receive a response, so I sent a second email. When that went without a reply, I called and reached someone who said they hadn't seen my emails but assured me the order would go out this week. It hasn't. It appears that many people have experienced the same low level of service. I've now sent yet another email canceling the order and requested a full refund. I also intend to contact my credit card company and report possible fraud.Customer Answer

I filed a fraud claim with my bank and sent an email to the company canceling my order. I received a confirmation that the order was cancelled but I didn't receive a refund. My bank has now refunded my money.Initial Complaint

Order was placed on 2 separate pp credit cards. At that time I believe the site said thank you for your order. And that was it. Never received a order confirmation with any kind of billing or shipping info, or anything showing what was ordered. I waited 4 days and contacted the company. They replied that they are not in until Monday and would look at the order then. That is the last I have ever heard from them. Sent 3 more emails with not reply. Have notified card company to charge back both orders. Have also sent last email informing vendor I will seek criminal charges of fraud and violation of interstate commerce. I placed an internet order totaling $45.50 on 10/23/22. When no order confirmation was received I requested a refund in writing on 11/03/22. • On July 29, 2023, I placed an order on the Model airplane Depot web site for an item priced at $99.99, with a shipping cost of $9.95. • Total paid: $109.94. • I received a confirmation Email on the same day, with the order No.: ********. • On August 2, using the Contact page of the web site, I asked about shipping. • On August 3, I received the following answer: “Your order is scheduled to ship out next week. You will receive an email with the tracking number when your shipment leaves our warehouse. Date I placed order March 30 order#MAD *****. How have these people not been charged with something by now? Ordered 9 models from them back in 2021 and they delivered 2, tried repeatedly to get the others and kept getting the run around and excuses such as currently doing an inventory and everything is being moved to a new warehouse and I gave them the benefit of the doubt, until it was too late to do a charge back and they completely stopped responding to me. $220 worth of product never received and my money stolen. Order MMD-**** ************ cancelled a portion of my order with no explanation but charged me for the higher shipping cost associated with the full order. Email requesting a full cancellation were ignored and they shipped the order with the extremely inflated shipping charges. They basically stole money from me and do not stand behind the promises they post on their web site.
