    The company posted an event and sold tickets to an event in ********** **** for February 22, 2025. We bought tickets for the event for our son's birthday. Spent a lot of money on hotel and travel to get there only to arrive at the event to find out it was rescheduled without any notification on their social media accounts or website. Thus we traveled and spent all this money for nothing. When I contacted the company they told me there was nothing they could do, but assured me that the tickets that we had purchased would be valid on the new date they had arranged with the Iowa Events Center on May 24, 2025. So if we showed up that day with our tickets they would be valid and we could go to the event. Now I check before we drive all the way down there again they have cancelled the event instead of rescheduling. They have not notified anyone and not posted anything on social media again or their website. As a matter of fact it is still listed as an upcoming event on both sites. They refuse to provide refunds for our tickets and while it is only roughly $90. It is the principle of the thing and we should be entitled to our money back if they aren't having the event. This complaint has been posted online now **** since the February event and we met many other parents who were swindled on the February event that same day. Please put a stop to these people so they stop scamming parents out of their money they aren't even supported by the **** company.

    Dear Brick Fest Fan,

    Due to operational challenges, the Brick Fest Live event originally scheduled for the ********************************** in **********, ** for May *****, 2025, has been canceled. Notification emails and text messages were initially sent out on April 17, 2025 prior to the event date as well as again on May 22nd and May 23rd to remind customers of the cancellation by both the ******************** team and Ticketmaster Universe. The cancellation was listed on our ******** page, website, and our venue partner's website well in advance. All orders for the cancelled Des Moines event have already been refunded as of May 26, 2025. Processing times can vary depending on bank and/or credit card company processing times. 

    We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience this may cause and hope to see you at another Brick Fest Live event in the future.

    Subject: Formal Complaint Regarding Brickfest Event on 12/14/24 To Whom It May Concern at the Better Business Bureau,I am writing to formally lodge a complaint regarding the Brickfest event held on December 14, 2024, in *****, *****. I purchased four VIP tickets for the event under the presale offer, which totaled $167.44 after fees and discounts. These tickets were advertised as including the following VIP perks:Event Exclusive Build VIP Badge Collectible Event Pin Early VIP Entry (9:00 AM)All general admission benefits Unfortunately, the event did not provide any of the VIP perks as advertised. There was no Event Exclusive Build, VIP Badge, or Collectible Event Pin. Additionally, VIP entry was not honored or even acknowledged. There were no notices, emails, or signs at the event to indicate that these VIP perks had been removed or that a refund or price adjustment would be made to compensate for the missing benefits.Furthermore, the event severely lacked *** accommodations and accessibility. The venue was not wheelchair-friendly, cords were scattered unsafely across the floor, and even the tables were uneven, creating an unsafe and frustrating experience for attendees.I am requesting a full refund of $167.44 due to the failure to deliver the advertised VIP experience and the inaccessible, poorly organized nature of the event. I believe this is a clear case of false advertising and negligence, and I am disappointed by the lack of communication regarding these issues.Thank you for your assistance in resolving this matter.     I purchased my tickets 4 of them this summer then I get an email saying brickfast was canceled that they would let me know when it was gonna be in *********** I've never heard anything since that email I would like a full refund cause someone should of let me know something by now thank you

    I bought two tickets on August 4th 2024 for the event on October 19th 2024. When we arrived on the 19th we were told the event was cancelled. I never received a notice for cancellation nor did many others that showed up. I was denied a refund because I didn't but a "ticket protector". I would understand if I chose to not go to the event but this company cancelled the event for their own reasons and apparently rescheduled to April 2025 which I can't attend. I feel like in this instance, refunds should be given.

    Did not provide pins for VIP tickets. We purchased our tickets when the Pin was included in the price, and they did not provide those pins after request. Employees were rude regarding our complaint, and were hostile upon hearing we had already paid for the tickets that included the pin.

    I purchased tickets for this events a couple months back via email that was supposed to be a discounted rate for early access tickets. I bought 3 VIP tickets @ $35 each. Had to post the event, send to friends, etc just be able to buy the tickets. The day they officially went on sale, the exact same tickets were $25 each. Hours advertised were 9am-5pm. Our admission was for 1pm. Get there and its basically nothing, I thought we made a mistake. There ended up being a few activities and at 3:30 we went to the booth where you color a picture of a Lego man. Simple coloring, markers and a picture. The lady told me they were closing down. I told her I was under the impression they closed at 5, she said no 4. I checked advertisements and email confirmations, everything said 9am-5pm. Ive checked reviews since and notice a pattern with this whole thing. Its a scam. Not only was I overcharged for discounted early access, but I paid over $100 for 2.5 hours of nothing. Im beyond frustrated and feel totally misled and scammed.

    Our experience with Brick Fest Live was very disappointing. Bought 3 tickets for my father, myself, and my son for his 5th birthday. We traveled an hour and a half to get to the convention center in ****** **** with much anticipation especially from a 5 year old only to find a printed sign on the doors saying that the event was cancelled. Totally disappointed, the ride home with a sad 5 year old was very hard. No contact was ever made to us as ticket holders to let us know before hand that the event was cancelled. Ive received no email or contact since. No refunds. We are currently trying to get a hold of someone involved with the business to try to get our money back. Will not buy tickets to any future events by this company.

    We paid for 5 tickets to see the Brickfest event at the ************************ on July 6, 2024 however, without any notice, we came to the event location at the 9am time slot only to find a sign on the door that the event is cancelled. It said to contact the event organizer but gave no name or contact information. Since it was not our fault and we did not get to attend the event, we feel we deserve a full refund.

    Tickets for Dayton Brick Fest 2024 were purchased months ago. I got my tickets emailed to me, reminder emails including a reminder email a day before the event only to show up and have a sign on the event from the convention center saying the event was cancelled. No other information or any communication from Brick Fest at all. After spending a considerable amount of time on the Brick Fest website I found that the event was rescheduled to January 2025. The contact links on the website don't work and I cannot find any phone number anywhere to contact about this. I would like a full refund of the three VIP tickets and some sort of explanation as to why I received no communication at all regarding this reschedule. My son is devastated and a simple email is all that would have been necessary. This feels very scammy to me.

    Brick Fest Live has scammed me out of my hard earned money. Brick Fest Live was scheduled for June 22, 2024 in ***********. I purchased 4 tickets on June 13th, for $121.88 so that my kids and I could go to the event. Brick Fest Live cancelled and rescheduled the event the week of. The new date is in November and we are unable attend on those dates. Which by the way the new dates on their website are for a Monday and Tuesday but say Saturday and Sunday. I reached out to the Brick Fest Live which is difficult to do as their website contact us link does not work. I was able to find an email way at the bottom of one of their pages. I got a reply back right away saying no refund. Definitely a robot non sympathetic response. In this day and age to NOT give full refunds when you are the ones who cancelled the event and rescheduled is ridiculous!! A full refund should have been offered when they sent out the email canceling the event. Reading reviews of the event now, I see a lot of people say the event is not as advertised and a big scam. I wish that I had known this before hand. It is sad that we have businesses that host events for kids that operate like this. Many of us are living on fixed incomes these days and cant afford to just give away $121 dollars. So we plan and budget to be able to afford fun activities for our kids and family. I will not be recommending Brick Fest Live and any of their other events to friends and family in the future based on this experience. A full refund is a very easy thing to offer especially when Brick Fest is making a ton of money from these events. It is not only easy to do but it is the right thing to do in this day and age. I hope that Brick Fest Live will learn to do better business practices moving forward.
