We purchased VIP Brickfest tickets for Brickfest Live in ***** for January 28th, 2023 and a sudden death occurred. I was not concerned because I also bought the ticket protector, but we have been ignored since emailing them on the 23rd of January.When I asked if tickets were transferable they responded but once asked about refund no reply. We spent ****** maybe bucks, and are very upset and feel very scammed. I have tried the number that goes to nothing. Emailing, and ******** messaging and I see they are not respectable. I ordered a Star Wars minifigure add on pack in addition to a few tickets to the Brick Fest Live event in ***********, **. In an email sent out with event information it was said that customers that purchased should expect an email with tracking and shiping info. They stated that customers will not be picking up orders at the event. I havent received any emails or responses to my emails regarding my order. It seems to be impossible to contact anyone at the company to inquire about a solution.Initial Complaint

I tried contacting the business in all methods of communication but no response nor voicemail back. They do not have a phone number. Just social media channels to reach out. I was needing a refund on one ticket since it was for my 1 year old because they dont have age range posted which is unfortunate which I googled and saw in a random blog that 2 and under is free. I also wanted to move to the next day and time due to a family loss but no response. We have yet to attend but wanted this squared away before we go.Initial Complaint

I ordered two separate Brick Fest Live Deals that were sent to my phone. I received the second order but never received the first. *** sent several emails asking for information on my order and have never received a response. The amount was debited from my bank. I spent $60 to go to an event that was not remotely what was advertised. Not one element that was promised was at the event. The crowd was out of control, the entire event was a fire hazard. There was no one controlling the crowd or directing where to go. No one at the company will answer emails, the ******** page does not answer questions, and you can not even leave comments on their page because they turned off comenting. You guys have given them an F as well. There was nothing ADA compliant either as I saw people in wheelchairs simply swarmed and could do nothing. My child was yelled at for playing with a **** while others were allowed to because for some reason. I want my hard earned money back from these scammers. I tried to find someone in charge but every worker seemed to be in high school.Initial Complaint

There was a message from third party, Universe a ********* Company regarding the event hosted by Brick Fest Live has been changed. I understand that Brick Fest Live only issue refunds when you buy their Ticket Protection. I did not purchase Ticket Protection, but due to the event changing from Dec. 17, 2022 to April 2023. That is a huge modification.Business Response

Tickets are Non-Refundable unless purchased with a Ticket Protector. Due to unforeseen circumstances, we could not host the event as intended. If an event has been rescheduled or will be rescheduled, the policy is not to issue a refund. If an event is canceled, then the policy is to issue refunds. In this case, the event has been rescheduled, so there is no refund, per the policy.Initial Complaint

The **** event was hyped up as this amazing thing. I paid $188 to go with VIP tickets. We arrive at the location and the majority of the vendors didn't show up. We did not receive the VIP bag that other locations received. Essentially I paid for my kids to play with ***** which we have thousands of at the house. We were there no longer than 10 minutes and we had completed everything. I do not recommend this event at all.Business Response

The VIP guest Swag is usually issued at the event. It includes an Event Exclusive Build, VIP Badge, and Collectible Event Pin. Please let us know if you did not receive any of them. However, tickets are Non-Refundable once you have attended the event. I ordered 3 tickets to the Brick Fest Live in Dallas, TX on May 14, 2022. I also bought purchase protection in the event I could not attend. The ticket protection warranty stated that if I needed to cancel for ANY reason prior to the event, I would be able to get a full refund. I attempted multiple times to contact this business but the phone numbers they listed are invalid. I also tried reaching out to them on social media and email without any response. I did this 2 weeks before the event with no response, and they did not provide a refund. I filed a dispute with my credit card company, and Brick Fest sent a fraudulent receipt to ******* *** that did not include the purchase protection. I have my original receipt which was emailed to me by Brick Fest which clearly includes the purchase protection. Because I was not able to send the documents in time however, my credit card company closed the file and Brick Fest kept the money. We tried to resolve the issue and ******* *** even tried calling the numbers listed on my behalf but the numbers listed are invalid. This company purposefully makes it impossible to contact them, and sent fraudulent documents. I attached the tickets I purchased which were sent to me, and the last one clearly states that it is a ticket protector. This is supposed to be a family friendly event and this company is disgusting that it would try to scam people out of money. I've read multiple reviews and complaints about this company since this happened, and this company just needs to be shut down.Business Response

The customer requested a refund, but before we could respond and honor the Ticket Protector agreement, she disputed with her bank. Once she disputed, we could not assist any further as we had to counter the dispute as were able to refund her on our end. We have refunded her in consideration she had purchased the ticket protector.
