    False advertising. This expo is poorly executed and boasts activities that don’t exist. The few activities that do actually exist are entirely underwhelming. Save your money!

    Not at all what you'd think it is. We paid over a hundred dollars to be VIP and that gets you a tiny laminate pin and a 2 inch lego robot... The staff also clearly were just temp hires because none of them knew anything about what was going on. I really wish I didn't buy the tickets at all, what a disppointment for my kid.

    As a displayers of my own Lego creations, BFL has been nothing but wonderful. Every time I go there are thousands of happy visitors, and the show managers go out of their way to accommodate everyone's needs.

    Bait and switch. Get ur kids all excited and then leave disappointed, spent 180 bucks that could have went towards Christmas.

    It’s a bait and switch marketing scam. Burning your money would be more entertaining. Thousands of reviews back up my opinion. The worst is that you have to deal with incredibly disappointed children to whom you have hyped this up. so the wound is compounded. Please do not support this scam. If you’ve just purchased tickets, put a stop on your credit card. Try to get your money back as soon as you can you will thank me.

    We went today 8/19/23. 7 of us all as vip ticket holders in charlotte nc ! What an absolute scam and rip off. Love lego but not events that deliver so little almost 40.0@ buxs per person and there was no difference between vip and regular attendees. Except we got a tacky pin. hoping lego does not endorse this. Dont waste your money folks. Ages for this show 3-8 max afols need not bother.

    Borderline scam. Not at all what it advertises. A long drive with a small kid to sit in a crowded pit of LEGO.

    This event is honestly a scam. Their “ statues” are covered in dust and grime and missing hands and accessories. Very dissatisfied and disappointed and of course they make their tickets “ non refundable” cause they know they are ripping people off.

    The event was not bad, disappointed that I bought VIP tickets, was not worth it and until you get values worth would recommend against spending the extra $ for VIP. My real complaint is the ordering of lego products from the daily deals that bombard my phone. I saw a couple of cool pieces decent price so I ordered them. well we are over two months, no product. 4 emails, and still no return email, provided order number and all needed details including return number. So far no reply, I am starting to believe this is just a fraud.
    The Brick fest we had attended was in Austin Tx.

    The event itself was pretty lame. Very few Lego displays set up to look at and only the one large area selling Lego products. No small vendors anywhere. Everything there was over MSRP and the line never had less than 20 people waiting. My problem was at the point of purchase for the tickets to attend the event. The VIP tickets were quite a bit more than general admission. They included a small pin and a tiny Lego robot you can wait in a 15 minute line to build there. When checking out they offer some add-on minifigure poly bags. I spent about an extra $40 for 10 Star Wars figures. They never showed up and I haven’t been able to contact anyone to even ask for help figuring this out. I tried to email them three times with no response. So now I’m out $40 and my son is very upset about the cool Christmas gift he will never have.
