1 starVery deceptive and horrible business. Manipulative and terrible business who doesn't care about other's lives. *********. They get you in by acting like you won a vacation and an electric devices, but only to fall into their trap of deception and lies. They don't take no as an Answer, they don't care about you. When you are working night shift and are very tired and need time before sighing documents. They manipulate and pressure to the point of forcing you to sign in a rush and don't give you the time properly needed to look over the documents. They are ruining lives and stealing very hard earned money for their horrible business. There company business is terrible and should be terminated forever and for good. They take you for granted. Very distructive and NOT trust worthy. They force you to sign documents to the point that you're afraid to not be able to get out of the building safely without forcefully having you sign the documents to ruin your life! Don't do it please; the company business is a complete scam a lie, very dishonest, and forceful, manipulative, and use pressure tactics to ruin your life!!. They don't care about you. They are more concerned to stealing your money and making you have a huge payment, so not worth it. Then later they try to use things against you, but they don't want to loose you and all the money /payments that they are stealing from you from their deception. Horrible and a terrible place to be at.Review fromJasmin P

1 star1 Star Predatory and Deceptive Business Practices and Refusal to Cancel Contract My fianc and I attended a Sundance Vacations presentation after being notified that we had won a complimentary vacation. The experience quickly turned into a high-pressure sales setting where we were subjected to persistent sales tactics and persuaded to sign a long-term contract under pressure. After reconsidering, I contacted the company in an effort to cancel. Instead of honoring my request, I was offered a "one-time courtesy" package reductionbut I was never informed that this would be the only opportunity to modify the agreement. It wasn't until I reached out againfirst to cancel the contract and then to inquire about possibly downsizing the package furtherthat I was told no further modifications were allowed and that there is no structured vacation package pricing system. I was informed that these changes are handled at the company's discretion and not guaranteed or repeatable.Despite paying thousands of dollars over several years, I have never used any of the vacation services. I am not seeking a refundI simply want to terminate a contract that no longer serves me and that I believe was misrepresented from the beginning. I also requested documentation and answers in writing, but the company has refused and insists on only speaking by phonemaking it harder to maintain clear records and avoid miscommunication. This process has made me feel misled and trapped. I am now seeking legal counsel to resolve this and sharing my experience here to help prevent others from falling into the same situation. I will continue to update my case as it progresses.Review fromTiffany D

1 starMy significant other at the time and I entered into this because of a free tablet. We went to the presentation and it sounded good but when it came down to paying the money they insisted they were not a timeshare and would be affordable. I was pregnant and unemployed at the time so they asked me if I could afford 130 dollars a month until I went back to work and I said with me and my partner it was doable. Then months later I get a paper saying they are having an audit and that I need to sign agreeing to pay $232 a month. Life was busy and I was working so my partner signed it and sent it in. Next thing I see on my bank statements are charges for 480 dollars annually and 232 dollars a month. I have paid roughly 5000 (to a little over 5000 dollars for this contract so far). At this time my partner and I have separated and I am unemployed as well as having never used this company nor do I plan on using it. I do not have the funds to pay for this any longer. I have called and asked if they put a hold on account due to ******************** hardship and they told me no. So I asked if they could decrease my weeks to equal the amount already paid because I no longer have the funds to give for something that is not and has never been used. I have read complaints where people have been refunded and accounts have been closed or ******* videos where accounts have been paused. So they clearly do this when they feel like it. Not only am I unable to pay and have made them aware they have been calling me everyday and leaving me voicemails trying to collect payment. They have now resorted to sending mail to my old residence which I do not occupy because of my unemployment. The new tenants are nice enough to allow me to come pick up whatever mail is delivered until I am able to update my address. Now they have resulted to harassing me and my ex (because they are harassing him too and we have no dealings). I'm not asking for a refund I just want to be left alone and this account closed.Review fromMichelle K

1 starWhile attending a Pirates baseball game, I filled out an application to win a free vacation. What I didn't know was that I was being sucked into the biggest scam of my adult life. My husband, 5 year old son, and myself took the 2 1/2 hour drive to receive our win. We had no idea we would be deceived by Sundance Vacations to buy vacation packages that sounded like a dream but in reality are NOT. We desperately WANT to get out of our contract. When I heard that there was a lawsuit out, I called Sundance to see if we qualified to get out of our contract but they said we didn't. Our hands are tied and we have no idea how to get out of this contract that we haven't even used but have been paying for.Review fromTJ M

I attended a presentation in order to receive a “free vacation”. What they didn’t tell you is that they will make you feel like you cannot leave until signing their paperwork. After verbally saying “no” many many times, they still persist, leading to a signing in pure duress. I was there with my child, just wanting to leave, so with so much anxiety I was shaking, I signed the papers. With the combination of the persistence and anxiety, I did mess up parts of my information and later called them to let them know. They did not care and even though my social was wrong on the form (by law that voids any contract for financing) they told me the contract was still active. I do have photographs of the paperwork with the wrong social, so at least when I take them to court, they can’t lie about that. They refuse to return and communication now and now they are charging me an additional $150 every other month on top of the original $250. So that’s $250 I’m paying EVERY month and $400 I’m paying every other month. This is insane. I’m a disabled veteran, a widower and a single father. I cannot afford this and they do not care. This company does not care as long as they can squeeze every drop of cash out of a persons account. I was forced to move in with family because I can no longer afford this. I just want this nightmare to end. Stay far far away from this company.Sundance Vacations, Inc.

1 starI unfortunately entered into a contract with Sundance Vacations in October of 2021. I went because of the free trip incentive and since that year was rough with the loss of a parent I thought why not do something for myself. After the presentation I was brought out into a room with a salesperson who was harshly persistent about selling me a package. I understand that its their job but this was overboard especially for someone who honestly didn't have a great emotional state at the time. I had told them no multiple times during this and that I couldn't afford this due to a recent parents death. They then kept lowering the price, and keeping me there for over 2 hours, I felt like they wouldn't take no for an answer and wouldn't let me leave unless I signed. The areas they brought up to vacation in during the pressuring of buying the package aren't able to even be booked. Everytime I have looked, everything is completely booked and the only places available in the areas I was told about are 1 or 2 star and from the reviews and pictures I believe it. I have paid nearly 3000 dollars between the package and service fees for something I will never use. And on top of it the price for this so called "service fee" that I was not told of has gone up, and keeps going up. I was told there was a price lock which is obviously a lie. This is a scam and I have lost way too much money, I want and need out of this. I regret ever thinking of going and deserving something nice during a hardship. Please get me out of this contract.Review fromJatu P

1 starOn July of 2023, I was contacted by Sundance Vacations that I had won a free vacation, and was still in the **** for a free car but had to come in for an hour presentation. They reached out to me with the same call. Sundance Vacations continued to reach out to me to get me in for a presentation. I finally went in for the presentation, after sitting through the presentation we were taken in the back to sit with a sales person. They were selling a package that was only available for that day. We were told that once we leave it was no longer available, even though we asked for time to think about it. First offer was about $3000 down, and $244 a month, we said no. Then the sale person went, and got her manager and they lowered the down payment and the monthly payment. They said they would give us time to talk it over, and think about it, but we still said no. After being there for several hours. The sale person manipulated me to purchasing this with all the promise of properties all over. Since purchasing this I have not use it due to not finding any properties to places I want to go. I have contacted Sundance several time with no luck on cancellation. I was manipulated to pay for something I cant use. It was promised that they had over ***** properties, and we can travel anywhere in the world. I went to book a trip in *********, ********, **********, and other places, but properties were either limited, or didn't exist in these cities. None of the places I express desired in to travel, have properties, or even options to vacation. This company was pressuring me from the very beginning, and I just want to be let go from our contract so that we can actually vacation in the places we desire to go, and be at a company that is completely honest, and upfront with meReview fromDavid V

1 starThey use extremely predatory marketing and sales tactics. Asked them last year to not call anymore, they reached out several more times before stopping. recieved a voicemail from the blocked number today saying they are reserving our vacation rental? Using scare tactics to scam people into reaching out is pretty gross but waiting a year to do so? Even worse. Dont trust anyone here.Review fromjason g
