I went to the Pittsburgh zoo where I put my name in a drawing to win $1000. I got a phone call from the Zoo saying I won a free vacation. I then was told I had to go down to the Monroeville mall to claim my prizes. I get there and they tell me I have to go through a presentation to get my prizes. the presentation was ran by Sundance which is a vacation company. at the end of the presentation the speaker sent in the sales reps to come talk to me about buying into one of they vacation packages. I was skeptical the whole time and just wanted my prize and to leave. I purchased a package for $116.33 a month and did not know that this was a loan and totally regretted everything. I got home and fully read the contract and none of what I read was said to me at the appointment. I am cancelling my bank accounts and card info. I would like to cancel my account with Sundance. I do not and did not feel comfortable moving forward with this. I paid a $200 deposit that I do not need back. I just want this account cancelled

It's to be good to be true. We filled out a sweepstake at New Jersey Fair on the 1st week of August 2022. They called and stated that I won a free trip however, to redeem the price I had to attend a hour seminar. Now, before attending the seminar, I called the 1800 and asked the representation to please not waste my time due to me being pregnant and it was 1 hour drive to get there. The rep gave the whole spill about being in business for 30 years and it wasn't a scam. So now, my family and I traveled to the seminar with the kids and again I'm pregnant.
Fast forward after the seminar they call you in a room where you're supposed to receive your free vacation. Now once they have you. They stop talking about you free vacations and talk to you about the package.
Now, I will be honest, my husband was interested in the package. So, it took us about 2 hours because they want to set you up with a package and now, they need you to pay for the start of the pack and they you have to fill out credit report. Now, the package is about $8000-$12000. They told me that my sister would be able to travel under our account. They also allowed my spouse to sign off on things. They also told my husband, and I would get 1 year interest free on the package. Now, it was late about 10:30pm. My kids were hungry and tried so I told him to finish up everything. I will deal with the kids. After leaving, I looked over the paperwork and realized that everything they stated wasn't in the paperwork. So, I tried to go back to the location and the doors was locked literally 5 minutes.
Now let's fast forward. I'm trying to cancel the service within 24 hours. I talked to someone name Melissa in the corporate office. She stated that they wouldn't charge my card and I called my bank and guess what they charged my card for the initial amount. So, now that another lie.

I'm mad @ because I've should have known better. Now, I have to dispute the credit card charges and cancel my service.

My partner and I are a young couple. We were called multiple times about coming in for a presentation and to receive gifts from Sundance Vacations at Monroeville Mall. We were brought into a room in which they went through a presentation about Sundance Vacations which we had trouble keeping up with and understanding due to it being long, a bunch of numbers being thrown at us, and it being late. After, we were escorted into another room where one of their employees had us sit down at a table to go over Sundance Vacation packages. At this point, we had heard nothing about our gifts that they had used to get us to come here, so one of us (Michelle) asked about it in which they said they have but wanted to go back into the packages. We felt wary of the whole situation because they made it seem as if we came here to purchase their vacation package and seemed to avoid talking about the gifts until the end. When we said no to purchasing any of their packages, the employee got up and said something to himself about losing his job and then brought out who we assume is his manager. She kept lowering the price and pressuring us to say yes to the purchase even though we gave multiple reasons as to why we couldn’t do this right now. Finally, we gave into the pressure because she did not let up and take no for an answer. After we got home, we looked over the contract and realized they failed to disclose all of the numbers and how much we’d end up paying in total as well as how legally binding the contract was. We were so exhausted that we checked yes to all of the boxes on the contract which they stated they were supposed to read over for us but allowed us to check the boxes without disclosing the information since we were so tired and ready to leave. After getting home, the situation did not sit right, and so we researched the company and found terrible reviews and people locked into contracts and we’d like to be released from the contract and have nothing to do with the company
