My daughter was supposed to get her wisdom teeth removed and they said it was a go then two days before she was supposed to get them out they canceled it because the claims department didn’t process and cleared it!! She has mild autism and in pain, gets headaches and can hardly eat, I told them that and requested a emergency wisdom teeth removal but they said that she has to wait ????

HORRIFIC! I got their medical gap/emergency medical insurance coverage. I then fell and broke my ankle, which included EMS transport to the ER, and surgery to repair the break. I have completed the same injury/accident form countless times. I then had to provide a one year look back of my medical care because falling and breaking my ankle could have been a pre-existing condition. I have been in constant communication with them since December 2022 over the surgical bill. They questioned the CPT code provided by the surgeon, etc. I call regularly to get updates and all I hear is "it is in review" or "we have put it back through review". Per their customer service I have met the deductible of the policy so by my calculations Loomis owes me (the provider) approximately $14,000.00. Their customer service people SUPER rude and defensive.

I have been trying to change my credit card for my monthly premium for weeks but the website is down apparently. I called the number and they said I can give it to them over the phone, but I am not comfortable giving my credit card information over the phone.

Had a kidney stone removed 5 months ago. I was told twice by loomis it would cost 4400 and the hospital also said 4400. I paid it prior to surgery which I thought was odd. Got a call last week saying I owe over 46k!!! The average cost is 8 to 12k for the surgery. Complete fraud!! Would have gone elsewhere if someone would have been honest

I don’t remember getting a policy. Premiums coming out of my bank account. I don’t know how this happened.

Called to update payment information then make an early payment. Billing representative billed wrong payment method then canceled my dental plan. Updated default payment method was never billed. Poor customer service. I do not recommend this company. If I could give a rating lower than one star I would.

I paid for their Gap medical for 3 years before I broke my ankle. My main insurance paid their part and Loomis was supposed to pay the remaining balance (under $800). Loomis is my accident insurance policy that pays my co payments in the event of an accident (like breaking an ankle after stepping on a badly located rock). They made ME get the bills, cpt codes, all paperwork and still kept denying the claim. Last look on the claim status said they needed more info on how I broke my ankle. Even though I told them multiple times already and filled out their forms. I'm considering calling an attorney! Their customer service reps are rude and the whole process that's supposed to be "easy" is a joke and they're the only ones laughing.

I am reading the reviews, and my complaint is very similar. My insurance rate was increasing after a year for no reason, especially since we under utilized the dental insurance the previous year. I called in January and followed their cancellation procedures and received confirmation. In February I was billed. I called in and they refunded my account and confirmed cancellation. I figured it had just been human error. However, now here in March, I get billed again. Called to speak with a supervisor and am told that no one is available for 24-48 hours. The customer service representative spoke with billing and confirmed that my account had been cancelled in January but said that the billing was set to "reoccurring" which was why I was still being charged. That doesn't make any sense if my account had actually been cancelled. They again refunded me. I will wait to see if this continues monthly as other have reported.

HORRIBLE. I got their medical gap/emergency medical insurance coverage. I had a bona fide emergency including an ER visit, EMS transport, and hospitalization. I jumped through a dozen hoops to fill out their ridiculous forms and then my claims were denied because they said having a seizure and near-death experience wasn't an accident. WTF?!?!?
Their customer service people are barely literate and SUPER rude.

This company manages my insurance that I signed up for through my job. I had to go on their website and sign up to get all my policy documents. I read through them very thoroughly. Instead of just trusting what my job told me. I have never had a problem getting any of my bills paid. I know what services are covered and are not. I know what Doctors I am able to see. I have only needed to call them 1 time. The representative I spoke with helped me sign up on the website. If you sign up for insurance with this company, the only person you should be mad at, if your bills aren’t paid is yourself. You have a reasonable responsibility to obtain and read your coverage documents. If you don’t, and you’re surprised when you get a bill, you’re not doing something right. My parents taught me long ago to always read the fine print. Please take the time to read for yourself and get an understanding of whatever plan you are signing up for before being angry at ANYONE because you failed to do your part. Their website also allows you to send an email directly for any questions. This forces the company to respond in writing. Some of these reviews are a clear sign of individuals not doing any research into something they chose. If you’re like me and this is your only option through your job, then you have to use it the way your coverage says. I can only see a doctor in my network. And only for wellness. I do not have any coverage for being sick or an emergency. When I go the doctor because of sickness, I tell them upfront. And they work out a cash pay deal with me. Too many ADULTS being surprised about a bill they should know is coming. Stop blaming this company. Blame yourself.
