  I think what they promise and what they deliver are misleading. My coach was great and I enjoyed working with her very much. However, in the end, what you get is coaching, some interviewing skills, a revamped resume and LinkedIn profile, and a lot of networking. Tons of networking, which you do on your own anyway. And this is where your next job is supposed to come from. Tons of conversations scheduled with people you know and with strangers. These aren't people with open positions to fill, they're just people you're having conversations with. So save yourself thousands of dollars and just reach out to hundreds of people and hope that luck is on your side. In the end, I found a job on one of the job boards unrelated to anything I was doing with Browning, but it is far from that dream job they promise you in their sales pitch. I make a fraction of what I used to, but I'm lucky to be working at all I guess. Maybe my revamped resume and interviewing skills helped. I still network as often as I can, but as far as I can tell, the "hidden job market" is a myth perpetuated by companies preying on those most vulnerable. Browning provides a valuable service, but it is only worth a fraction of what I paid and I regret having done it.

  I enjoyed a wonderful association with the Browning organization. Browning is unique in that they develop, coach, mentor, and pray for you. They're more than resume builders, they do that too. They're more than career consultants, but they do that as well.   My experience with Browning was phenomenal. I want to be clear that they are teaching you how to pursue a job and you use networking as a tool. You hone that skill to a high level through their coaching. That skill translates into your business and personal life. The work done on my resume and bio also made it a formidable tool.   I connected with Browning after looking at multiple, similar search firms. The price for Browning is high, but it was worth it. Their simple, actionable process makes it easy to follow, and helped me succeed. I worked with multiple associates and believe that they all contributed to my success. Notably, increase in pay I was able to negotiate in my first year was greater than the fee they charged, so that is obviously worth it. This service isn't for everyone, but for someone who is willing to follow the process, do the networking, and can afford to search out the RIGHT job rather than the RIGHT NOW job, this is an excellent choice. Highly recommend.
