1 starAutomated does not work you cant talk to a real person and when you do get a real person they will transfer you to the wrong person. So you end up going round and round in a circle on the phone. All I wanted to do is upgrade credit card. If you like total chaos, and frustration then get Cvs insurance. Health Net is partnered with CVS. I DO NOT RECOMMEND!!!Review fromScott M

1 starThis outfit is unfit. They sit on RXs for multiple days before actually processing. When they don't have the medication expect to wait another few days for them to reach out to the prescriber. I have been under psychiatric care for 20+ years, and the prolonged time to refill my medications forces me to skip multiple days to compensate. I'm missing work because of this now. Avoid the mail order if at all possible.Review fromDouglas B

1 star**** is going to have worse problems keeping employed using services like CVS Caremark. When trying to refill my medication they deny my claims and then need prior authorization. Further this company doesn't care if you have had this medication and dosing at a level they think they can cut your medication, in my case I was getting 60 pills for 30 days. CVS Caremark decided I only need 18 pills now and need prior authorization. Called my ******* ********************** and their pharmacy team MULTIPLE times and its like a 3 Stooges act trying to get my medications. Now mind you I called when this FIRST happened. I had 18 pills. I take 2 daily so that's 9 days of the month I have covered but the rest... I am now 4 days without my medication. Rep talks over me rudely raises her voice and tells me to pay out of pocket (remind me why you are a business not trying to actively connect me with the products and services WE PAY TO USE)I am currently on hold 36 minutes in trying to speak to another supervisor because I was told issue was resolved and my pharmacy stated it wasn't. I will likely have seizures and someone will get hurt due to this company's mismanagement and inability to help its consumers. If I had a choice I would go elsewhere for my ********************** but with how the government is now treating its employees with this garbage I am surprised we are still alive.Review fromJohn H

1 starIt takes forever to get my medication and I end up going days without. I've called 3 days in a row regarding it, was told on March 1st my prescription was being filled as we spoke and would definitely ship out tomorrow (March 2nd). Called March 2nd because it didn't ship, because they tried to autodraft my HSA and the full amount wasn't available. Why wasn't I told that the day before? So I finished my payment and was told it would still ship that day. It didn't. Called today to see if I could just cancel it, so I can get it submitted to the pharmacy that's an hour away so I could just go get it. Nope. Best they can do is TRY to get it overnighted, which means even if they do approve it it won't leave their facility until Monday as it is currently ****am on a Friday. Was also told once again that they were just filling my prescription now. I was told 3 days in a row each time I talked to someone thst they were in the process of filling it as we spoke. How does it take 3 days to fill a prescription for 30 pills? Is 10 a day their limit then they go jerk off and laugh at the customers they're f****** over while making millions? This company can go f*** itself, I will never use their mail service again. Being forced to choose between mail or driving an hour to go get my meds is utter horseshit. Allow people to use their local pharmacy.Review fromEric C

1 starAbsolutely the worst customer service ever and I? still don't have my medication. I? called 3 times and spoke to 4 different representatives. each one had a different story and were no help in getting me my medication. Now I? have been without my medication for over a month. This is a lousy corporation that cares about nothing but making a buck. how can every representative have a different story??? Get it together!!! You made 292 billion dollars in profit in 2021! Stop sucking the lives out of the public and draining our pocket books!Review fromTeri J

1 starI had cvs, but my meds were never in, and a new pharmacist made me wait till the 30th day to order so Friday, sat or Sunday, I'd be out until it came in the next week, and I can't run out, 2 are controlled. Pill ****.. So I used Mail order before, I could call the pharmacy, took 2 days, nice.. But because cvs was always out of my meds, and treated me bad, I sent my refills to caremark..omg what a life changing mistake! 1st I was waiting to get my order in, had 1 in process, 4 refills, I drove down after 5 days to get mine, they took it and left the refills, Then having 2 controlled meds, they sent a fax to my Dr's, one was going to fill it out and send it in, but one said, now you messed up, the pharmacy board and *** are involved, so he called my other Dr, lowered my meds by 1/2! My script was fine at cvs but caremark didn't like it. So they are my Dr's? No! You cannot call, get answers or look on line says when it comes, but it's sitting there, so litterly 6 days, hours of different answer's, found out they need a 3rd script, they didn't tell my dr ********** me Great, now its going to be late..both. by 2 weeks! My dr had to call in enough untill it came in the mail, but I picked it up, they pushed back the refill date. So now I pick up mine at the cvs for now till it comes, but they'll push back the date again. I was tried caremark to get them before I'm out for 5 days like cvs, but now its waiting, and it will ship after I'm out..? That's 10 days without it. Bad bad, waste of a week calling and now Dr's are mad at me, and now I get 1/2 the meds I was taking. They have litterly ruined my quality of life. And sanity They might be ok for 90 day, but they have one I have ready but won't ship for over a month? They don't know what they're doing, I don't, can't get an answer.. now I'm I don't know what to do, I live an hour from cvs, and they aren't much help either and I can't find another Mail order that takes my insurance!!!Review fromPassword New Laptop 2/20/18 M

5 starsCaremark works with WellCare Drug Plan. I have filed charges twice with both the BBB and *********Why? Caremark has NOT sent my medications regularly. I have spent hours and hours trying to communicate to both Caremark and WellCare. It took weeks to obtain my blood thinner which puts me at risk of another blood clot. I have even received a letter stating my doctor cancelled my blood thinner Rx (this was a lie). Another reason as to why I did not receive my blood thinner was because I called and cancelled it ( not true, why would I do that?). I have been billed for over $500. for this medication without y authorization. This resulted in formal grievance with my credit card company. DO NOT USE Caremark.Review fromSandy G.

1 starWho is running this company???? I went to pick up some medication and was told by the pharmacy my cost was $30. which I paid. Several months later I received a letter that an audit was done by CMS and I needed to pay an additional $148.00 for that medication.!! I called and spoke to two people. I explained that if I had known the cost was $178 ( total) I would have declined the medication. Too bad I still owe the money?!! I spoke to a supervisor who told me she was sorry but if I DIDN"T pay , the bill would NOT go to collections. I continued the conversation and the supervisor went to another supervisor who then said I HAD to pay or it WOULD go to collections!!! I just received a call from the ******************** who told me again..."too bad, so sad... their mistake but oh well and he said it WOULD NOT go to collections?!?! I already paid because I was afraid. He apologized but I can't get my money back and there is nothing more I can do ..WHAAAAAT???? I cannot believe that Silver script could not cover $148. because THEY made a mistake. Yes I paid it, but what about someone who could NOT pay that??? Collections or no collections..depends on who you talk to! I refuse to go with Silver script again!!! BEWARE!!!! Money Mongers!!!!Review fromLetha J

1 starI'm a community Healthcare worker and the past few weeks my patients have had issues obtaining their medication from caremark. The lack of professionalism and care for patients is unacceptable and unbelievable. Being told to go get your medication filled elsewhere because we want be able to process this in time enough before you run out. So now I have to contact my doctor ****** and get a new script faxed to a different pharmacy. But yet you still want to process and **** for service your not able to give. My patients have to pay for their medication twice, once just to get from another pharmacy to have enough until you are to process it and then second to pay you once it has been processed. Caremark is only about the money.Review fromTravis S

1 starLast year my company switched prescription insurance providers. Immediately my provider denied my prior approval for the prescription drug Cosentyx, which I am taking for both psoriasis and most importantly psoriatic arthritis. This drug worked wonders for my arthritis. I went from crippled to almost normal in a matter of months once I started taking cosentyx. They say that they need a new prior authorization every year. This seems to be an excuse to deny coverage to patients. It makes no medical sense to re-authorize medication like a biologic for a lifelong condition like psoriasis or psoriatic arthritis. If I am doing better then the medicine is working. Every time I call I get a different person who has a different excuse for why they cant help me. No one knows anything about my case and they just switch me from one telephone service to another. This is the worst company I have ever experienced. After four months of denials and reviews this company still does not cover my medications. Employers should be warned not to go for the cheap gimmicks that CVS Caremark allegedly offers.
