1 starPrecision came out to replace my garage door unit, that part was great, however my husband was in the garage with the vehicle hatchback in the open position and leaned in to pull out his golf clubs and the garage door opener was in his pocket. The garage door came down and instead of going back up when it met with resistance, it continued to come down, with so much force that it bent the metal bracket that runs down the entire center of the door and took the paint off to the bear metal. This is a brand new vehicle. I called them out to check on it, I spoke with Chandler ( area manager of Augusta) he sent a tech out who waved his foot in front of the sensor and said it worked fine. Chandler called after hours (I also work for the apartment complex that this happened at) and said it was fine, if we had any questions to call him back. Both myself and my manager called and left 4 voice mails with no return call. I called the office a week later and they said that Kevin Fox was the area manager, of Columbia SC I got in touch with him and he came out the next day. He did the same test and said it was working fine. I point blank said if the garage door came down with enough force to remove the paint to the bare metal and twist the frame of the garage door, there is obviously an issue, he replied with. That was already bent. Excuse me? no it was not and how would you know that, considering you have never been to this property nor have you ever looked at my garage door. You just don't want to be responsible for the cost of the damages. This is absolutely not my fault but I am going to have to contact my insurance company and pay to fix their mistake. What ever happened to taking accountability, or customer service? This company will never use Precision Garage door again.Review fromAndre&Melanie J
