After many years of tune-up service with Precision Garage Door we decided to have them replace our 51 year old wooden garage door with a metal door.
We are very happy with their prompt, efficient service and highly recommend them.

5 starsWe couldn’t be more pleased with the customer service and product we received with the installation of a new garage door. When I called for a quote someone came the next day. We had checked pricing with other companies and Precision's price was the best, while maintaining the same specifications of the door we wanted. The installation crew was prompt, courteous and knowledgeable. They cleaned up all remnants of the old door and made sure I was comfortable with the operation of the new one before leaving. Chandler, your technician, called prior to his arrival & patiently answered all my questions regarding our garage door opener. He provided an explanation as to how to best repair it along with 3 detailed quotes & some needed advice. After we made a decision, he went right to work replacing the necessary parts. He explained that we needed to hire an electrician to install an outlet prior to replacing the motor which is quite old & does not meet code requirements. We plan to do that as soon as possible & have Precision Door return to do that installation, as well. I told him that we wanted him to return the next time to help us. I had a new garage door installation to my vacation home in SC. The technician arrived promptly as scheduled. However, shortly after setting up realized he did not have the tools to complete the job. Thus he left to retrieve the necessasry items - this took roughly 1 1/2 hours. The garage door was installed. Upon completion, he informed me that some of the paint was not even on the installed panels. He (Marshall) stated he would reach out to his boss to see how this could be rectified. Someone from the Precision branch would be in contact with me to discuss this matter. He was not able to complete any payment as his tech devices were not working correctly. I received a text from the installer, Marshall one day later stating that someone would be by to correct the paint issues. No one has contacted me. When i spoke with the office, no one knows anything about this matter. The door works fabulously. However, I paid full-price for a nondefective garage door - that is not what I have. It appears that the installer needs to communicate more effectively with his supervisor and the office staff. Uncertain how this will resolve.Precision Garage Door Service

The GM from Precision did phone me regarding my concern.
He came to my property and looked at the issue. He corrected the areas with touch up paint and apologized for all the confusion. He was not made aware of the issue by the technician.Review fromLarry M
