Over all experience is negative 10.
This was the absolute worst company to get a puppy from. First we received the wrong puppy and then 2 days later received our puppy then not even 48 hours after we had her she died. I spent over $3000 on the dog $700 on transport and over $2500 on. Et bills. After trying to get a hold of someone at Pawrade, the only way I was able to speak with anyway was to act like i was interested in a puppy.
All the numbers I was giving to through the process of getting the puppy nobody responded.
Once I finally got a hold of someone to tell them what happened they didn't even care or anything.
It was the most traumatic experience of my life and my kids life.
I would NEVER recommend this company to anyone ever.

It's an absolute shame this company plays on their customers just to make a quick buck on sick puppy they send out.

For not doing correct research .
My mini dachund wired haired arrive
    February 7,2025
Took him to Vet and his ear were extremely filthy (black)with a bad ear infection.
Been two months his been with me and his ear infection hasn't improved!.
He traveled by himself not with any concierge as they showed on video.
He arrived in a crate through cargo.
So am confused on the plane ticket pricing .
Metlife pet insurance has reimburse anything toward his ear infection.
    Been paying out of pocket.
This occur to me for not researching correctly.
Please do your homework before purchasing any puppy from anyone.
    Thank you

Thoroughly disappointed with the health of our puppy upon arrival.
We used this service to purchase a Bernese Mountain Dog. He arrived underweight and “infested” (our Vet’s term) with fleas. He also had infections in both ears. We encouraged them to reconsider future business with the breeder and to consider any further nose-to-tail exams by the Vet in question to be suspect, at best. Their response? They offered to cover our $50 deductible through Met Life (their required pet insurance provider), but only if our claim is approved. I don’t care about the money. I didn’t ask for a refund in any amount. I just wanted to make sure that no one had the same experience with this breeder in the future. Now I also don’t want anyone to have the same experience with this company in the future. I’m so sad that their business and ethical standards don’t seem as high as what the puppies they broker deserve.

BUYER BE WARE of this company!!!!!! Read the contract fully before you sign anything and make sure you know and research the Breeder prior to signing your money away!!!!! This puppy did not have the temperament as advertised. Advertised as great with kids, families and other animals. Day #2 of him being in our home, he was showing aggressive behavior to our young son and my husband, unprovoked. He even bit our husky puppy twice through a baby gate. Growling and snapping where we became fearful. We have had dogs our entire lives and NEVER experienced this before. I immediately reached out to the breeder with no response for 1 week. I reached out to the Pawrade team with their only solution as being behavioral classes. After 1 1/2 weeks, the situation escalated and he was rehomed via the breeder.
So now after countless emails with the claims department, there is nothing they will do!!! ABSOLUTELY NO REIMBURSEMENT!!!!! Go through a local breeder! NOT THIS COMPANY!!!!!

    PAWRADE IS A SCAM!
What a JOKE of a company! I have bought multiple puppies over the years and have a dog currently, I am not new to dogs by any means.

Long story short the communication by pawrade/petpay was terrible.

Anyway the puppy FINALLY arrives and my fiancee and I are both so excited! We feed the puppy a full meal, take it outside to play and potty then come back inside to rest and we give it a few treats. Once the puppy finished one of the treats we go to take the remains away and she snarled and aggressively bit my fiancees's hand to the point of drawing blood and needing stitches! After this I think well maybe it was just a puppy miscommunication right? WRONG

I scold the dog saying "NO biting" and go to pick her up to put her in the crate and she then bites me really hard to the point of drawing blood. It was at this point I started thinking something was very wrong and this dog must have been bred by a puppy mill or possibly horribly mistreated by the breeder who knows.

I waited 15-20min for the puppy to relax and tried to pick the puppy up again and it again arched its back, snarled, showed its teeth and bit me HARD again!! Drawing blood AGAIN!

This is all in just about an hour of having this puppy so I message the breeder at 10am that their puppy has bitten both of us and she said its not her problem and to contact pawrade. (What a thoughtful caring breeder right?)

So I contact pawrade and I tell them I want to return the puppy because clearly something is wrong.

Pawrade sends the driver to pick up the puppy and proceeds to tell us that it is somehow our fault that the puppy has bitten both of us to the point of drawing blood, its our fault she snarls and shows her teeth etc and refuses to give even a partial refund. So now between the pet fee, tax and shipping im down $6k with multiple dog bites and stitches to show for it.

PAWRADE / PETPAY is a JOKE of a company and I will NEVER ever forget how poorly they treated us. BEWARE

We are sorry that the customer has had a negative experience. Unfortunately the customers version of events is heavily skewed and not factual. The buyer received a puppy that like any puppy was under quite a bit of stress after being taken from the only home it has ever known, its siblings, mother, etc. Any puppy is going to require time, love and patience to adjust to its new surroundings. Within 45 minutes the customer was calling and demanding we return and take the puppy back claiming it was vicious. It is unheard of for a 12 week old puppy to be vicious. Even breeds bred to be protective are not at 12 weeks. Now there is a very small chance it may become defensive if it feels threatened, especially considering it is already completely insecure and in an emotional whirlwind considering all the circumstances. This is where the love, patience, and understanding come in. Negatively "disciplining" a pup at this time is not the best course of action. Calming reassurance would have been. Build trust not dominance and fear.

The third party transporter reports that the pup was wonderful in all the interaction they had during the days of transport across the country and showed absolutely no signs of aggression. The transporter reports the same after they picked the pup up. In fact they provided videos of the pup after being picked back up where the pup is happy, playing, jumping on folks for attention and making face to face contact.

I do wish I could post the videos here as well as the picture of the very happy buyer and pup at the initial delivery. I would also post the picture of the very tiny scratch on on someone's hand provided by the customer. It is very clear that that this "injury" would not require any professional medical attention and certainly not stitches. Any one who has ever had a puppy knows they have very sharp teeth and they all love to bite as a primary method of playing. This tiny "injury " is far more indicative of that type of contact.

Additionally, the buyer signed a contract and specifically initialed a section where it is very clear that a pup is a living, breathing animal and we can not guarantee temperament, trainability, behavior, etc. There are many factors in play here that we have no control over. Though we do make it very clear that it is a huge adjustment for a pup and that a new puppy parent must allow some time for the pup to adjust, provide patience, love, understanding, and allow the pup to bond with them as well. 45 minutes is certainly not enough time for this to happen and we are sorry the customer abandoned this beautiful little girl so quickly.

I reserved a puppy on November 22 that was marked ready for adoption November 23. I asked to be able to pick her up as soon as possible. I later switched to having her delivered and didn't find out till much later that the earliest they could deliver was December 10th. I wish this had been communicated to me without me calling them every day for updates. After lengthy phone conversations we worked out to have me pick her up in person on December 2nd and paid extra to have them take her to the vet the Saturday before for her required vet check before travel. Then, Sunday night, after we had bought the plane tickets for my travel the next day, they called to say that the vet gave her a vaccine and she could not travel within five days of receiving a vaccine. But they knew she as scheduled to travel the next day, so either the vaccine was not necessary for travel and they could have waited, or, if it was, they should have known she needed it and not scheduled travel for three days out. She also has a hernia. There is just overall TERRIBLE communication. Because of all the delays I would not be able to pick up my puppy until shortly before we are going out of town and now they want to charge us extra to board the puppy until we get back.

The buyer has been fully refunded and agrees that the situation has been amicably resolved.

    Unbelievably horrific experience!
After patiently waiting and finding my dream dog on this website, I called immediately to figure out how I can claim the puppy and was told I need to pay in full & just like many websites, the list price is not what you pay. There’s hidden fees & travel & insurance & something called a “health guarantee“. Ha! What a joke. I received my puppy and followed all of the required steps. I had him less than eight months when he suddenly became sick and I spent thousands & thousands of dollars I didn’t have to take him to the vet and the emergency hospitals. I say that with an S because plural hospitals to try and find out what was wrong and within seven days he had passed away. Pawrade and their payment company Pet Pay do not guarantee the health of the puppy & when it came to his tragic passing, it was my fault for not getting an autopsy done. So they will not help reimburse the cost of the puppy nor provide me with a new puppy. They also will not flag that breeder or help me get in contact with the litter mates to warn those families. It’s been nothing but an unbelievably expensive heartbreak to work with this company and all the finger-pointing that goes with the charges and the bad news. Do not use this website. Do not give them your payment information and do not get your hopes up.

They are fraudulent and do NOT have the best interest of the puppies. They are clearly a money scam. I bought a puppy that I spent close to $3K and within the first weeks my puppy had multiple seizures. I was in contact with the breeder, who was absolutely phenomenal. We got the puppy safely back to her so she could care for the puppy and get him the care he needed. I requested a refund from PetPay and they denied me because I sent the puppy back to the breeder. The breeder couldn't be more kind and understanding.

I do NOT recommend buying a puppy through PetPay or Pawrades.

I was extremely happy with my puppy purchase and they follow through on their promise of giving the guarantee of health of the puppy. I would highly recommend Pawrade.
