5 starsWe contacted Todd to do sod for our backyard. We agreed on a spring installation and it was done the very beginning of May. It is beautiful. 5 starsCochran Landscape did a hardscape project in our back yard, including removing a concrete walk and replacing it with pavers and several new steps to manage a steep grade from our home to our dock. The manager, foreman and team assigned to our project were communicative, professional and timely, completing the work well before our deadline. 5 starsI hired Cochran Landscaping to redo our walkway and patio which had deteriorated over time. The crew was hard-working and professional in their knowledge of working with pavers, from laying the base to precision cutting. The cost was fair and reasonable for the excellent work they did. They also cleaned up the work area before they left.
I highly recommend Cochran Landscapers and am, in fact, talking with Todd about completing a garden my husband and I started but are unable to complete.
I also had no difficulty communicating with Todd and received prompt attention to my questions and concerns.

Cochran Landscape is not what is represented through the appealing advertisements. As indicated by others at this BBB site, the prices are extremely high. However, homeowners who seek enhancements of a primary investment will sacrifice to afford it, if possible. SERVICE IS NONRESPONSIVE / UNPROFESSIONAL: After contracting with them in Oct. 2023 to “landscape” (plant 12 shrubs with soil additive and re-mulch with current pine straw) the northern side of my home, I did not hear from Todd for an entire month. After I followed up in Nov. to avoid winter/potential of frozen soil planting, the service was scheduled and completed in Nov. during late evening whereas workers had to use their work vehicles' head lights for visibility. SERVICE IS INCOMPETENT: The day after planting, I discovered 4 shrubs had simply been placed in holes and camouflaged with surrounding mulch. This would have gone undetected forever if I had not inspected the work. After notification, Todd indicated that workers would return the next day to remedy. Afterwards, he provided a snappy email that the payment balance needed to be called to his office "first thing in a.m." (without even an apology for the inept initial service!). SERVICE IS DEFICIENT: In Feb. 2024, I noticed that shrubs closest to foundation had died and notified Todd re: warranty and need to replace the plantings. He indicated that he does not warrant work not under a maintenance contract (info never divulged within this $1800 job) and that the plants didn’t get enough water due to the placement under eaves and I should hand water/apply fertilizer. Neither of these instructions (from a high end landscaping service, mind you!) were provided to me initially. One would anticipate such guidance from a high cost, professional, competent, efficient service. THEREFORE: Potential consumers: Beware of the shiny website and consider what is being conveyed within this BBB site. Cochran Landscape Design is not what is appears to be.

This is a total and outright dishonest post. From the point of contact until the day of the finished install I personally communicated clearly with this client. My company doesn’t offer a warranty on plants or anything living that we don’t provide ongoing maintenance services on. This was clearly explained to this customer throughout the process. She even had a few questions a couple of days ago and I again promptly replied with proper recommendations. Some folks just cannot be pleased. This response is what one would expect and consistent with others on this site (i.e., no pre-notification re: warranty, care recommendations after plantings are dead). Yes, you can make it in business for 24 years doing poor quality work--Hence, no BBB rating. The BBB rating conveys that a business has demonstrated sound business practices and meet accreditation standards. This company has not. Even the tone of the comments reflects the lack of professionalism (e.g., "some folks cannot be please"). In addition, there is no post that is likely to be "total and outright dishonest"... Judge for yourself, consumers and thank BBB for the opportunity to gain insight into actual consumer experiences.Review fromPat J.

Cochrans Landscape Management --like the other complaints--gave them a huge down payment for their services to be rendered---in JULY 2023. AS OF TODAY, JANUARY 24,2024--NO RESPONSE FROM ANYONE. Made several calls every month--no-one answers their calls or returns any messages left. The salesman under Todd C******,. Mr. Smith has requested in his emails that I be patient with them. They have $3,000.00 of my money for a downpayment for work that was supposedly scheduled for Labor Day but has yet to have even begun. I have requested several times to have the owner return my call or text but to no avail. I am requesting a refund immediately and I am actively speaking with my attorney if it isn't processed. Poor management, and a lack of ethics and character within the ownership and the people he hires. I
would not recommend them at all and they need to stop advertising in the Anderson magazines. False advertising.Cochran Landscape Management, Inc.

We reached out to Mrs. ******** on multiple occasions to advise of her job status. She was unresponsive on more than one occasion. After we were finally able to make contract she stated that she wanted a refund. Per her request a refund was provided within 24 hours. We also offered to complete her job at no charge.Pat J.

In regards to the comment made by the owner of this company and to defend. my character--I was contacted (1) time by text. As far as the rest of his comments--the complaints stated to the BBB and the history of this company.....enough said. thanks but no thanks.Cochran Landscape Management, Inc.

It is not ok to post false statements about a companies reputation and integrity online. This particular individual we can only assume may have not had the means to pay for the proposed work because we reached out on numerous occasions with zero response. I personally emailed and texted 30days before this review was ever posted and got no responses. I even offered to do the job at no charge and got no reply. No company is perfect and we do at times drop the ball but that is in no way the case in this particular instance.Review fromSteven G

5 starsTodd C****** and his staff completed a retaining wall, patio with fire pit, flower, planting beds and a complete irrigation system today. I cannot say how well the job was done. Communications were clear and concise, all workers were pleasant, very talented and professional. The end result is a yard and patio that will beautify our lives and the neighborhood. They went beyond the usual in order to assure this project was done perfectly. I highly recommend them!
