Complaint ID: ********
Dear Ms. R*****:
This letter is in response to the above-referenced complaint filed with your office on October 12, 2022. The
allegations of the complaint have been investigated.
Ms. **** received this loan with Western Shamrock on November 13, 2018, in the amount of $297.50 and agreed to
repay it in (6) monthly installments of $48.58 beginning December 13, 2018. The account was charged off due to
non-payments on May 07, 2019. The account was later purchased by World Acceptance Corporation in May of 2019.
In her complaint Ms. **** stated that she has tried contacting World to settle the debt and to have it taken off her
credit report. World is willing to work with Ms. **** on a settled-in-full or paid-in-full settlement. Unfortunately,
World does not participate in pay-to-delete settlements and will not be able to remove the charge-off on Ms. ****’s
account.
We can negotiate a settlement, but we are obligated under the Fair Credit Reporting Act (“FCRA”) to furnish all
accurate account information. World will continue to furnish account information to the Agencies for a period of
seven years from the date of first delinquency, as it is our obligation under the Fair Credit Reporting Act (“FCRA”).
The District Manager called Ms. **** in an attempt to speak with her, but as of the date of this response, Ms. ****
could not be reached.
Ms. **** may contact our Customer Care center at ************** to discuss a settlement agreement.

World Finance company placed an account on my credit report and placed it as recent without validation of debt. I have contacted them and asked for proof and never received it. They said the debt is from a company that has been closed for years in Tn . I asked them for proof and both times the representative from the corporate office would not send proof. I have been dispute the said account for over a year now and still have NOT received proof which is a violation of my consumer rights. They can not lie and say they sent out any certified letter because the USPS has a mail preview system called informed Delivery and it gives you a preview of all mail that will be delivered and saves your mail up to one year. I can show proof that I have this feature if need be. It shows all proof of incoming packages with tracking and letters. I have not received anything validating debt or my rights to dispute. I had to seek advice on how to dispute said account.Customer Answer

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ********, and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint.
The company waited till now to bring some type of proof forward when I asked for proof back in 2019, 2020 and all the way up to now. They never showed proof and when asked for it and that is a violation of my Fair Credit Rights. Where’s the proof that they abused by the credit guidelines and provided me with proof when asked. They clearly stated they bought the account in 2019 and yet they failed to show proof of anything till I file a complaint. World Finance violated my rights and I will report this company again due to they know they are in violation. I called them and requested proof in 2019-2020 and yet they never sent proof of acquiring account . Nothing. I want the account deleted for violating my rights because I am well within limits to ask for it.

World Finance is lying because I distinctly called the corporate number and argued my case on the phone. I will continue to dispute this account till it falls off in 2024 from my report. If necessary I will hire an attorney to have this removed off my credit since they never provided me proof till now. The credit guidelines state they were supposed to provide me with proof of debt and give me time to dispute before reporting to Bureau, which they failed to do. World Finance will not get a dime from me at all and will dispute and wait till the can’t report anymore.

Re: WFC Limited Partnership (“World”)
Consumer: ******* ********
Complaint ID: ********
Dear Ms. R*****:
This letter is in response to the above-referenced complaint filed with your office on October 03, 2022 and received
by our office on October 03, 2022. The allegations of the complaint have been investigated.
Mr. ******** obtained this loan at our Hixon, TN branch on March 04, 2022, in the amount of $1500.00 and agreed
to repay it in (12) monthly installments of $125.00 beginning April 04, 2022. Five payments totaling $810.00 was
received on the account. As of the date of this response the account is now current and not being furnished to the
credit reporting agencies (“Agencies”) as being delinquent. Please see the attached account’s transactional activity
as evidence.
In his complaint Mr. ******** stated that he knew he was behind on payments due to being in transition between
jobs. We regret that Mr. ******** did not communicate this hardship with the World during that time. He is now
requesting that World to remove the delinquency from his credit report. Unfortunately, World is unable remove
historical delinquencies based on its obligations under the Fair Credit Reporting Act ("FCRA"). However, Mr.
********’s account is now current and will not be furnished as delinquent if it remains current.
If Mr. ******** finds himself struggling to make his agreed to payments, World does request that he communicates
this with the local branch. That branch can be reached at ***** ******** or he may contact our Customer Care
center at **************, so we can be of assistance.
Based on the review of the account, the information furnished to the Agencies is correct and according to industry
standards. If Mr. ******** has any additional issues with how the Agencies are reporting the account data, he may
dispute it directly with them.
Sincerely,
World Acceptance Corporation

World Finance/World Acceptance is reporting a fraudulent account on my consumer reports and refuse to remove it. They claim it is verified, but they have yet to send me valid proof. I have requested an audit trail which includes an original contract and they have refused to send it to me. While this account is being disputed, they have also ignored the federal law that requires them to stop reporting on my consumer report , which is a debt collection activity. They removed it in the past and reinserted it this year without following the law which requires them to notify me first. They did not honor the Gramm-Leach Bliley Act and conspicuously make me aware of my right to opt out of information sharing with third parties.Customer Answer

Better Business Bureau:
I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ********, and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint.
The law does not state that have to provide anything when I notify the "creditor" that they are reporting fraudulent accounts on my consumer report. I have sent in an identity theft report. As the law states, I have the right to NOT consent to any reporting of my personal information. In fact, when a claim is made, the company is suppose to block the information while it is being investigated. I have also requested an audit file of this account including an account ledger(not statements or a balance inquiry as they have sent). Also, this account was considered a charge off and was changed after I mentioned it to a collections account. Which one is it and why is monthly activity being reported on a closed account? Where is my 1099C? If inaccurate information has been discovered, the law says it must be deleted! Also, this account was previously deleted in a previous dispute, but reinserted and I was not informed before it was posted. These are all violations of my consumer rights. I will be taking legal action if this account is not removed asap!

Better Business Bureau:
I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ********, and have determined that this does not fully resolve my complaint. They are deleting the fraudulent account as they should because nothing is owed to them. In addition, they have caused me damages for placing this unverified account on my credit report; therefore, I am owed a check in the amount of $3000 or I will be bringing a lawsuit against them.
