I was looking for a loan because I utilities bills fell behind. I got a call from a person with an Indian accent who told me that I was approved for lain. They asked me to let them log in with my ***** app. And they reversed my credit card payments from last year. Told me that it was done to boost my credit . Then told me to cash app them $800 . Then a few days later they tried to take $5000 out of my account. I called my bank and denied the transaction. It cost me $30. Thanks God my paycheck was on hold so they didn't take that money. I have all the text and evidence . I am going to my bank to close my account. I am doing a police report and reporting to the AG so no one can be scammed by them again.

Zero stars if I could. They prey on desperate people. What reputable loan company asks for your online sign in to your bank? They text you to get you interested. When you cancel or change your mind, the text font changes. You have to tell them ‘cancel’ several times. Know your rights.

100% SCAM! They use mobile deposits of unsigned checks to deposit money into your account. After they get you to return it, as "verification" that their system is working, the deposit(s) bounce out, leaving you stuck for the deposit amount in your bank account. STAY AWAY FROM THESE SCAMMERS!

They contact me. Approved $3000 for $96 at 36 month. Keep getting run around. This was their end responses...person name is curtis
"We don't want to give you any single dollar who don't use their brain in normal things. Don't contact me again."
"Will post this comment on bbb." (Also have photo of it.)
"Ok. Get lost. I told you not to contact me again."
Now this Curtis person from Advance America, had me sign a contract of terms above. Said I was approved. Have download of that. Curtis linked my bank account to ********** **** (I have a truck loan there) and need my bank accounts and driver licenses. Then keep saying "turned into department, updated, haven't started view, confused, thought you didn't want loan,". Then I reviewed them here and knew something was wrong. Im afraid my bank and drivers license ID has been stolen. Beware!!!

I thought something was wrong when they asked me to give them access to my account. I put in a different password and hung up on them. I needed the money but not enough that they was gonna put my account in danger. They should be shut down ASAP.

I read this reviews but I ignored them because I was desperate for a loan. I dealt with Peter S., the supposed supervisor in the New York Branch. I was asked to get a ******* money card for $150. I was supposed to get the loan deposited within 45 minutes. I was asked to pay a 6% fee of the loan. This was another $180 and I was told to get another ******* ***** Card. Foolishly I paid on March 28, 2025. I received an email saying that email would be in my account the next business day, which is March 31, 2025. No loan was deposited and I was scammed out of $330.
      Please trust your instincts.

If I could give this a negative zero I would. The worker CiCi R**** was extremely rude on phone. She was so rude that I told her that I did not want the loan. Her response was basically bye with an attitude like we don't care attitude. So I decide to apply online. I was having problems online so I called the store back and I got her. Well with her nasty attitude she told me that she was going to direct me to a 1-800 number. Then when I told her it didn't work she put me on hold and didn't come back. So I came up to the store and was trying to apply for the loan. She kept looking at my phone and wouldn't let me read her my account numbers and her supervisor was taken up for her. I said if I read the account numbers to you on the phone what's the difference now? The supervisor there was just taken up for her and the girl was looking so happy in the face but she knew she was wrong. They made it extremely hard for me to read loan with them again mind you I alone with them years ago and they called me want me to come back. The supervisor just took up for the lady. She saying we were having problems and finally She interviewed and what's the problem. The whole time she was on the phone the supervisor talking about chicken wings and food while I'm struggling trying to get my information. And the girl CeCe who I work with was also talking about lemon chicken and food making me feel inferior. Please don't loan there. That supervisor she was looking at me like I don't even like you and I greeted her with I remember you. Anyway she was on the phone talking about her food her chicken wings and what she going to cook they wouldn't even thinking about me. Y'all please do not get a loan from advance America. Even though I was faithful and I qualified for the loan they were extremely gossiping girls.
