    This house was a spec house and we made a couple of changes at the time the contract was signed, the change was no tile in master bath, we wanted vinyl plank flooring - we noticed that the tile guy put backer board down for the tile floor and made them aware that the backer board was down and needed to be pulled up - the flooring guys did remove some of the backer board but not all of it, so now the floor is not level and is off about 1/4-1/2 inch - the trim for the door frame had to be cut, the door had to be cut on an angle. it looks like crap. We had our 60 day walk through and SK is aware of it - but will not do anything about it until our 1 year walk-thru.
    I have had back surgery and to walk on this floor irritates my back since it isn't level. Also we have requested the name of the garage door installation company and no one will give us that name. We have texted the sales agent who helped us as well as left her a voicemail. We have also reached out to the guy who did the 60 day walk-thru and no one answers or returns calls. We also have a culvert in our backyard that was damaged by the grading company and would like it fixed - Greer City says it is the responsibility of the builder.

    In October 2020, we closed on our home built by SK Builders. In October 2021, we submitted all the items needing attention via our home warranty. One item was fixed, but all others have been given no attention. In particular, we reported loose siding on the back of our house. In January 2022, the snow storm in the area ripped the loose siding from our house, leaving exposed wood. My husband has reported, called, and contacted through every method available, but nothing has been done. We will be coming up on two years living in this house with the issues still remaining. We need the problems in our house to be fixed as was stated in our home warranty.

    In August I filed a complaint about SK Builders not fixing issues covered under our home warranty at the one-year check. These issues have gotten worse, and the complaint was sent to the business with the response that they would contact me on 3-5 business days. This was sent to me the first week of September, and I have still not heard from SK about this issue. They clearly have no desire to fix the problem. Please advise on what steps should be taken to solve this problem.

    As has been the case with the customer.  The customer did not respond to the paint and drywall vendor.  He sent texts with no reply.  We finally have the siding scheduled for today and paint and drywall for 2/20/2023.

    Hey Cindy,

    We have heard back from SK; they had someone call us and leave a message at the end of January. However, our calls back had not been answered or returned until this past Friday, weeks later. They contacted my husband last Friday to say that the dry wall company should be coming on 2/10 (that day), but they never came. Painters were supposed to come today (2/13) and also have not shown.

    I have several unresolved issues with my house. I have made several calls to Eddin in Warrant; my calls have not been returned. I also left my contact information with the office for Brian to contact me to no avail. These issues have been provided in the online warranty service request portal, verbally, Robert who recently left the Warranty Department took pictures of the roof framing and in a minor repair and adjustments report. Additionally, I met with Henry and Eddie about six weeks ago about the roof framing. At that time, Henry said it would take about a month to get the repairs done. Eddie told me initially after he looked at pictures of the framing, he did not see any problem. When Jerome (site supervisor) came to look at the laundry room door, I asked him to look at the roof. Basically, he said it was a framing issue and he could not approve the way it was done. Later Eddie came to my house with Henry who agreed with Jerome.

    Unresolved issues:

    1) bent window screen - I have been waiting for over a year. I have been told over and over again that they are on backorder which is very hard to believe at this point.

    2) crack in the master bedroom ceiling was missed in a repair appointment on 5/2/2022.

    3) laundry room door replaced - A door was delivered to my house which I gave to Eddie in Warranty about six weeks ago with the understanding it would be painted and installed within approximately two weeks.

    4) There are smudges on the master bathroom walls where the cracked tile was replaced. It had to be scheduled for a later date.

    5) roof framing as I described in detail in the first paragraph.

    6) split casing around the attic door - the painter said it should be replaced.

    7) replace rusty hardware on the doors.

    With exception of the roof framing, these repairs were originally scheduled for 4/21/2022 (no-show). The work was rescheduled for 5/2/2022.

    I am very disappointed.
