RIP OFF! Had lightening strike my home. Fried out many things including our hot water heater. Called and they showed up. Decided the water heater was toast. I had 2 other contractors over at the same time going over many other issues with the home, so it was hectic. I have a wife and 3 children, so hot water is essential. They rushed through the process of the sale and with so much going on, I took them for their word that they were an upstanding, honest company. Install went well, however I did some digging and they ripped me off for almost $4000! Now they will not reply to emails or answer the phone or call back to try and do the right thing and make this right. I will be contacting the BBB so no one else gets taken advantage of in an emergency situation like my family was. Shame on you Meetze for profiting off of someone's crisis.

We've sent you an email as well as called you a few times over the past few days and left voicemails. As of today, 3/26 leaving a voicemail for you did not come up as an option. Our service manager offered you a refund of $500 simply for customer satisfaction. It is unfortunate that once the emergent issue was resolved you no longer found value in our service as you did when you signed the estimate before work but we would love to speak further with you and come to a resolution. We understand that department stores can sometimes offer items for a lesser value but all of our prices include not only what we paid for the item but the warranty and labor to install the item. The technician didn't even try to look at the problem before quoting me over $500 worth of work with no guarantee for a running toilet and then tried selling me an entirely new toilet for over $1,000.
I wound up declining service and fixed the issue myself for free as the O-ring simply needed to be wiped down, which he would have caught if he had looked.
Please do your own research and don't sign anything unless you're absolutely sure. The prices are obscene and clearly meant to target inexperienced home owners.Meetze Plumbing Company, Inc

700 plus dollars for an hours work to replace a garbage disposal. No itemized bill because they don't want to admit they use an inferior badger disposal which is less than 100 dollars on Amazon. When questioning the cost since I felt my 82 year old mother was taken advantage of the over polite women on the phone tried to justify the flat rate of 600 dollars to replace a disposal by saying the company has to pay for their shiny fleet of trucks and other overhead. They might as well just say they are another example of greed in this country. Obviously not Christian based company and not worth your business. I would never have called them except my plumber had the flu and I was swimming in dirty dishes.Meetze Plumbing Company, Inc

Prices are very high. 1300 to replace a piece of PVC and change out a valve. Quoted 500 to repair a drip in a bathroom sink and 513 to replace it. That would have meant I would have to replace 2 to have a matching set. Wouldn’t a plumber know that Moen has a lifetime warranty? Called Moen and they sent parts free of charge with the tool to replace a cartridge. Technician was professional and did help locate and stop an irrigation leak by turning off the irrigation valve while here. Beware of their large overhead pricing.Meetze Plumbing Company, Inc

$926 for 3 connectors, one toilet cut-off and one flushing apparatus which took slightly an hour. We we dealing with the death of a friend and just needed water. It is a ridiculous amount of money and should have paid the $49.00 and told him never mind.

The work done was great by the technician and I don’t mind paying $400-$500 for a valve replacement but I got charged $325 for cutting the drywall open. If I knew it was going to be that much, I would’ve cut it myself. We called the accountant and they verified that the charge is correct. It says “Major Leak Search” on our invoice which confused me because all we had done was a Dante valve replacement. There was absolutely no leak or concern of a leak. The accountant said they put that to lower the price of the open wall charge because it’s originally $410. That’s a ridiculous price to cut open a small hole in the drywall.Meetze Plumbing Company, Inc

On Dec 29 2023 they performed a wonderful job on replacing my toilets . They completed the job quickly and efficiently! The plumbers were very professional, and they showed up on time. Before starting he explain what they were going doing and the projected cost. Before starting they placed drop cloths down to cover they area they were going to walk through, in the bathroom they covered all area they were not going to work on also. They cleaned up the areas when they were completed. what impressed us the most was they took the extra time to explain how to maintain the toilets, to include proper cleaning product to use and those to avoid. 1 starFRIDAY 10/20/23- A charge of $405 to dig a hole, refill it and leave me with a worse leak, a larger puddle and no solution is ridiculous (outdoor water leak). What kind of business dispatches service, doesn’t complete any actual repair, leaves a mess, cracks my irrigation box and yet still charges $405?
SATURDAY 10/21- Myself and a friend used a lot of elbow grease to cut through roots using a hatchet, axe and pick to locate the line that takes water from the well house to the house. The source of the leak was a coupling that curves this line toward the house. It took effort and the correct tools to remove the roots. Once we did the line to the main house (and leak) was easy to to find. I was told I needed to hire American Leak Detection to come out on Monday (resulting in no water for the weekend). The leak was only 1.5 feet over and 6 inches up from where Meetze dug. It would’ve been ridiculous to pay for leak detection when the flow of the leak was so strong it could be felt with your hand placed in front of the roots we ultimately removed. I spent $6.60 in plumbing parts to repair the leak. The repair took a new coupling and two 6” pieces of PVC. Meetze quoted $405 to dig the hole plus $512 to repair the leak. I’d also have have the additional cost of hiring American Leak Detection. Luckily myself and my friend (both non- plumbers) were able to accomplish leak detection/repair in under 3 hours this morning. Given two trained plumbers could not locate and fix the leak yet we did fairly easily after removing large roots with a pick, hatchet and axe, I’m even more driven for Meetze to make it right and refund the $405 I paid for them to dig a hole and claim they couldn’t find the source of the leak. Meetze attempted this job using only shovels. Additional tools were definitely needed to remove roots and adequately access/repair the line. Meetze didn’t appear to even have the right tools for the job making a $405 charge even more unethical.Review fromLinda H

1 starI was so excited to have MEETZE come to service my new home’s plumbing needs today. Three toilets were running…I purchased (previously) three new toilet valves and stoppers from Lowe’s. When the tech arrived, he quoted me a $500 per toilet estimate to change the valve in each toilet. I feel violated and they are a dishonest company, extremely unethical. Exorbitant fee for minor request. I talked with two workers from Lowe’s and neighbors and they said the estimate provided by the plumber was so ridiculously exorbitant. Either I pay the $1,500 or there is no other option except their way and the ridiculous estimate. So very unprofessional and underhanded. They didn’t deserve the $49 service call…Very manipulative company. I told the tech I would not be using his services to complete the work.Review fromERIC S
