An application for a loan was submitted to Security Finance in Big Springs, Texas. Subsequently, a message was received requesting employment verification. During the verification call, an administrative staff member spoke to the applicant, Kendall, in a rude and condescending manner.
It is important to note that Kendall is the owner's step-son and a potential successor within the company. The employee did not inquire about speaking with the Human Resources department directly.
A clarification regarding the presence of an HR department could have been made during the initial voicemail message left by Security Finance. The employee's question, "Do you have an HR department?" suggests an assumption of familiarity with the company's internal structure.

I have used this Company twice. Each time they have been very courteous and helpful in my needs. I have nothing but praise for the Ozark Alabama location. They are always pleasant and interested in helping. They have helped me build my credit. Just pay your payment as agreed and you won’t have any issues. If there is a problem just call them and talk to them. They will work with you. I myself would recommend them to anyone. I say great job Mr. Casio and Ms. Sierra. Thank you!!Review fromRobert B

1 starI have no idea who these people are or even what services they offer. What I do know is they will have random people call you and ask you random questions like a scam call and give no context as to what they want or what they’re trying to accomplish. The guy literally told me it was a private matter. Then why are you calling me?! I don’t have business or correspondence with you! My complaint isn’t unique or random, if anyone reading this cares to read the many other bad reviews on here, they will see other random people this random business have called and confused and irritated. How this company has managed to stay in business with this horrible reputation is beyond me. If this business has trolls or AI reading these reviews, hire more some decency to your company and do better. I have used them a few times,last time I got a loan from them I paid two payments on the loan,and I got some money from some property I sold went in and paid the loan in full.Then about a year or so later I went in to get another loan and was told I never paid anything on the last loan,and I couldn't find the receipt from paying it off,never had them call saying I was behind on anything,I know the person working at the ******** ***** ***** took that 1200.00 dollars I paid to pay the loan off,and said it was a charge off.maybee corporate needs to keep an eye out for their employees that handle their business.Security Group, Inc

1 starI have been trying to do business with this company, send all the documents for them to review and they keep informing me that they are busy,i've been calling since February 29 2024,Friday March 1st 2024 and today is March 5 2024. I understand that it's tax season and they do receive customers in person but people that call over the phone is customers too.i called again today for the third time and they still telling me they are busy and they might have a answer for me tomorrow.they just don't have time to review my documents.Review fromValencia R

1 starI currently have an account with these people. If u fall behind r miss a pymt they call every day instead of charging the acct off like a normal creditor would do after so many miss pymts. They are very rude every1 n this company. I tried my best 2 keep my patience with them and it just don't work with them. The regional manager told me 1 time that the store manager would be handled for being rude2 me. I stated I wanted her fired because it
someone is having a hard time how talking 2 them rudely is going 2make them generate money. It only add fuel to the flame. Literally after my complaint about how I was treated the same manager called me again so as a result nothing was done about the situation and the regional manager told me whatever she thought I wanted to hear 2 get me off the phone. them 2 another manager at a different branch and get my acct switch 2 a different store and instead of helping me they n turn call the store where my acctis located and started another ball of confusion. So I ask the person is this how ure company handle business. I was trying to remove myself from yall office if yall have a problem with the way I pay my acct. Well that didn't work. Even though i don't have the $$ to pay them I have to answer my phone when they call and communicate with them give them a date when I know I can't pay it n order for them to say u say u was going to pay us on this day why u didn't and they have such nasty attitudes that I didn't keep the payment arrangement. However it was only made so they would stop calling. When I got the loan they ask for references not people 2 call when I don't make payments. Calling my references has cause a lot of confusion cuz by doing so it has cause several arguments with my family. Had I known that I would have use different references. 5 starsI have had good results and easy financing with this company. They are friendly and accurate. If I ever need a loan they will be who I ask.
