Received a call from a Glen. I didn’t catch a business name. He said he was looking for a person. No last name nothing. I said, “yes and?”, as I was trying to figure out what this person needed. I told him I was not the person he was looking for. He proceeded to tell me I was being smart and proceeding to yell at me and refused to let me speak. He hung up and it finally took two additional phone calls to get him to answer my question about what the name of the business was. I never caught it at the beginning of the phone call or maybe there was bad service. This human being was rude, impatient, and a hot head.
He threatened some type of action against who ever it was they were calling for, and I don’t think they are supposed to tell anyone that. Glen is completely unprofessional in all sense.
I have never never obtained a loan from Security finance or Glen, and I never will. Security finance needs to hire more professional people. Selling a loan or collecting a debt should be handled just as gently. I don’t know how this guys gets to call someone who is not a customer and act like that.Security Group, Inc

I have never dealt with this company ever. I’m not sure if someone I know used my number as a contact, but I have blocked the number. I have received multiple calls a day from them. All they do is leave their name and number, no other information.Security Group, Inc

It is our policy to only contact third parties (e.g., customer references) when we are unable to make contact with our customer for a specified period of time and believe that the contact information we have for our customer may no longer be accurate. The purpose of the telephone call is to obtain updated contact information for our customer. It is also our practice to remove from a customer’s account the telephone numbers of any reference who does not want to be contacted by us. They call 3 times in the matter of an hour and a HALF. Log your calls so this doesn’t happen! Misty and Manuela just blow your phone up constantly and will call you back. I had a call at 2:35 and then another one at 2:40 and then ANOTHER ONE at 4:14 it’s getting really old.Security Group, Inc

I received a call from someone name Michael or Vincent S****, when he first called me he said his name was Michael, when I called him Michael, he started yelling at me and said his name wasnt Michael it was Vincent S****. He was very rude, whenever I tried to ask a question he would talk over me and start yelling and then ask me why I am yelling at him. The number he is calling from is from a Tech company it appears. When I told him I was not comfortable giving any information over the phone, he became even more rude, and angry. I hung up and blocked the number.Security Group, Inc

I have never been in contact with this company but they removed $323.00 from my debit card account in 3 separate transaction on July 13, 2023. I have no idea who this company is or who they do business with. I have never had a loan with them or any affiliates.Security Group, Inc

I paid off my loan & when I went to renew a new employee was going to renew my loan but Sonya walked in & said to the employee (not me the customer) that she zero out my balance & I already told her I would not give her another loan. They pulled my credit without my authorization because they hadn’t heard from me in 30 days. They spoke with my family after bombarding them with calls and my family kept them abreast of why I hadn’t been in contact. I attempted to make a payment late March but their employee entered the wrong expiration date and said I had to call back in 48 hours. After that life happened. I work 8-5 which is their business hours and I was in the hospital for a period of time so no, paying a loan was not at the top of my list. They just decided to take it upon themselves to run my credit report when that does not provide them any information as to my whereabouts. I have paid off two loans from this company and this was the first time I have ever been this late for them to just jump to the extreme measure of running my credit report and conducting a skip trace. 1 starInquired about why my loan of four years was not reported to the only frequented credit agency in my city (Experian) and there was a grave lack of interest to accommodate or even escalate concerns. Dry responses like: “I’ve worked here for seven years, and we don’t want to build a business relationship with Experian” is what was pushed to me. ********** and ******* have proven useless in attaining refinancing or new auto loans. Super enraging seeing two credit bureaus accurately accommodating my personal advances but (the most frequently used ) one having my information as non-existent. Therefore, I’m represented as having “no credit, ” thus ineligible for any advancement. I feel disadvantaged, dissatisfied and ultimately stuck between a rock and a hard place. Avoid this company if possible.
