  I have done several focus groups with Wilkins over the last few years and they are extremely legitimate and as someone else said extremely professional. You do actually get paid it is in the form of an Amazon gift card.I think there may be another option but I can't remember for sure but the amazon gift card doesn't expire which is really nice!

  Several times I was fortunate enough to be selected for their 'mock trials". Both in person and on- line I found them extremely interesting and would gladly do it again. I've even informed some of my friends and they also were selected for different "trials". I am amazed at the number of people who post "SCAM" when in fact it isn't. I look foward to the time I get selected again.

  Complete scam. You'll spend hours filling out surveys and get absolutely nothing in return. Supposedly, even if you get rejected, you can spend the points from each survey eventually. Spend it on what? I have no idea. They won't tell you. You can't see the list until you get 2000 points, and I've got news for you: it'll take you a work week's worth of time to achieve that.
  It sounds like a great framework when you sign up, and everyone wins! Everyone doesn't win. The people who want people to fill our deeply personal surveys win, and you lose however many hours of your life you put into the site.
  Furthermore, some of the questions from the Wilkins's surveys (to get information about you to recommend appropriate surveys, supposedly) are seriously alarming. My mother's name? My favorite color? These are security questions, and let's be clear - THEY CANNOT POSSIBLY, IN ANY WAY, SHAPE OR FORM, DETERMINE ANYTHIGN ABOUT YOU THAT WOULD OR WOULDN'T QUALIFY YOU FOR ANY STUDIES.
  The site is a scam. People who want surveys done are the customer. WIlkins is the vendor. YOU are the product. Stay away.

  Hello, I checked into your concerns as I found them completely contrary to our business operations. What I learned did not seem to match the issues you described. It appears you joined our panel on 11/4 and completed one survey on 11/8. Then attempted to complete another survey you didn't end up qualifying for. I see you closed your account on 11/10.   I took a ct focus group this past Monday on 10.10.22 for a mock jury of 200.00 pay out for 5 hours. I called the 12th to ask and inquire of the address that it was being sent to since i was in the process of moving. I left several voicemail mails. Unreturned emails. I was told to speak to a Ms Selena and was assured a call back from the rep but no call back. I asked the rep if he can check when the check was mailed out and verify the address. I was rudely told no they cant and was hung up on. For a company that wanted 5 hours out of my day its pretty awful that they cant give 5 mins to check on compensation. I am def entitled to verify something accurately

  I was paid for an online focus group via Zoom. Basically, it was a mock jury related to a local court case. It lasted around 6 hours with a few breaks and was generally a good experience.
  They said we would get paid $200 by check in 5 to 10 business days. That was accurate. I got my check in 7 days because they waited a few days to put them in the mail.
  It would be nice to get paid by PayPal or if they sent the checks the next day, but I can't complain too much. I think we've gotten spoiled with instant payments and same day delivery. (It's possible that people get paid the same day if they go to a focus group in person.)
  They could improve the enforcement of rules. We were told not to have other people on camera, not to eat, not to text message, not to smoke, not to be distracted etc. We were warned that we could be terminated instantly if this happened. Unfortunately, there were some people with loud dogs or children. A couple of them were vaping and smoking. One of them got loud and belligerent. Nothing happened to them. You can guess what group of upstanding citizens broke the rules and got away with it.
  Overall, a good experience and worth doing again.

  I was doing the surveys recently and they for some reason keep deducting points from me as I get close to the $25 payout. They have removed $3, $3, $5, then another $5 as I was accumulating points. Complete scam.
