      I had a terrible experience. The driver of the truck clocked in an hour before the starting time. Then 2 boxes were stolen.

      Worst moving company ever. They were over 6 hours late, broke a chair, and did nothing to rectify the situation. Someone needs to look into their business practices.

      This was the best moving experience I ever had. The crew was amazing. They unloaded everything and carried it up six flights of stairs very quickly and professionally. They were so quick that they had time to assemble our furniture and saved us a lot of hassle. Team was friendly and never complained about the stairs. I would highly recommend them for Manhattan moves!

      Do not do business with them. Scheduled 3 “‘moving specialists” to help load my PODS, I live on an Army installation and confirmed with Kevin, the Bellhop rep, to ensure the sub contracted company could get on post. Morning of the move comes around, supposed to show between 8-9, I get a call at 1030 that the movers can’t get access to the base. Bellhop said don’t worry, we have another company lined up for the next day. Bellhop calls back at 1500 saying that the other company fell through. I am left scrambling to find movers because they couldn’t do their job.
      If you are doing a DITY, look somewhere else, don’t waste your time with Bellhop.

      Bellhop movers was a move from hell!
      The driver didn’t won’t to come up my driveway because he was afraid he might scratch his truck because there was a few limbs hanging down. So the movers had to load the furniture in a truck and take it down to the truck. That added to my hrs.
      The driver got out of the truck to help. I paid for 4 movers. When they finally got to the new house I only had two guys to move my furniture in. That added to my hrs. They laid my refrigerator down. They scratched it all up. Put dings all in it. The doors are out of line. It was only 3 years old. They scratched up my bed room furniture really bad. They charged me over $2.500 to move me 48 miles. I got an estimate on getting my furniture repaired $1.00.00 they only won’t to give me $600.00
      It’s been over 2 months and I’m still dealing with them. I will not ever use them again.

      I typically refrain from lengthy reviews, but our appalling experience with Bellhop compels me to warn others. This moving company, which presented itself as professional and reliable, turned our long-distance move from Los Angeles to Seattle into a complete nightmare.
      Pre-Move Promises vs. Reality: Upon booking, I discussed specific requirements with a Bellhop representative, Jamie E******. I was assured that our movers would be Bellhop employees, in uniform, using a Bellhop truck, and equipped to handle a long-distance move with all necessary supplies. Instead, what followed was a cascade of misinformation and chaos:
      Confirmed Moving Date Changed: We were informed at the last minute that our moving date was not guaranteed.
      Movers Unprofessional: The movers, who arrived in an E********* truck, were subcontracted, not Bellhop employees. They lacked professionalism, appearing disheveled and unprepared.
      Lack of Supplies: The movers had insufficient blankets and no proper packing materials, forcing us to use our own resources.
      Day of the Move: The moving day was rife with stress and mismanagement:
      Incorrect Timing: Confusion over the scheduled time due to a timezone mix-up, causing unnecessary panic.
      Unprepared and Unprofessional Staff: The team leader brought his toddler to the job site, contributing further to the unprofessional atmosphere. The movers were inadequately prepared, with minimal moving supplies.
      Constant Threats of Insufficient Space: We were repeatedly warned that our belongings might not fit, despite prior moves having no such issues.
      Post-Move Issues:
      Avoidance by Bellhop Representatives: Attempts to contact the Bellhop representative who arranged our move were futile.
      Empty Promises: Conversations with the CEO and other supervisors during the move promised resolutions that never materialized.
      Severe Damage and Carelessness: Our belongings were carelessly handled; not properly wrapped or secured, resulting in significant damage.

      My experience with Bellhop Moving was an absolute nightmare. I had never heard of Bellhop, but I was encouraged by the strong reviews I read online. I called the reservation agent to make a reservation for Saturday, June 29, 2024 to move apartments; the agent encouraged me to instead book for the following day because Sunday is the less expensive option. My lease ended on Sunday, July 30th.
      On moving day, only one mover showed up (Elijah); he was wonderful, but I had reserved two movers and one mover would be unable to complete the task. I called the company and it turns out the second mover was on another job and that they could not find a replacement to come on a Sunday. Mind you, this was the last day of my lease and I had no other options. I was and am FURIOUS.
      THIS COMPANY LEFT ME HIGH AND DRY with nothing but an apology and a refund. Had I not found outside help, I would have incurred additional fees from my apartment. I wish I could leave this company negative stars. Never again.

      I am a repeat customer. I made a reservation for a move and for some reason two reservations were made, for the same exact date and time. I had to reschedule the move, not knowing there were two reservations. The day before the original move they call to confirm and I told them the reservation was rescheduled. They kept my reservation from the duplicate order!!! They say I should have known and cancelled both. Why the h*** would I make two reservations for the same day? They will not refund my original deposit. This is terrible customer service.
      Luckily I had enough time to cancel the rescheduled move. I will give my business to someone who doesn't steal money from customers. All they had to do was apply the deposit to the new move and I would have been happy.

      I don't want to give them any stars. Beware, they don't care about your stuff, just want your money.I had a move with them on May 23,2024. I had two TVs. They wrap my bigger 65 inch tv but not the smaller 55 inch tv. I tried to turn the 55 inch tv the next day and the screen was cracked and would not work. I advised them of the damage and the asked if I signed a waiver and I advised no and they said that I should have wrapped the TV myself and they would not cover it. The service was bad and now I have to take them to court to get them to cover what they broke. I will never do business with the company or tell anyone to use them. Horrible service.

      Do not hire Bellhop Movers.
      This review is based on my mother's experience. She hired them for a local move: no boxes, furniture only, to a 2 bedroom 1 bath house. She confirmed prior to hiring them that they would be able to move her piano. They have a recording of her accepting a damage waiver on doing so, and would have never hired them in the first place if they wouldn't move it.
      The first issue occurred when they called three days prior to her scheduled move that they could no longer do it that Saturday and that they would have to move her Monday. She was unhappy with the short notice and they agreed to move her Friday instead.
      The day of the move was a nightmare. They refused to move the piano, now citing that it was against their policy. They asked my mother if she had blankets to wrap furniture, since they ran out. Said that the bed frame was impossible to take apart and get downstairs, so they left it (I was able to take it apart in less than 5 minutes). They left other numerous rugs and items that my mother asked them to move. They left all of her outdoor furniture because they ran out of truck room, said they would go back for it, but did not (the outdoor furniture is still at her old house weeks later). They also moved at a snails pace moving her stuff. This was a 2 bedroom furniture only move (not even all the furniture, mind you) that took three people over 9 HOURS to do. The "excess hours" resulted in an extra $900 charge on top of the original quote.
      My mother ended up having to hire a separate piano moving company to move her piano while Bellhop Movers has given her the runaround for weeks. She will also have to hire someone else to move her outdoor furniture. To add insult to injury, after weeks of phone calls, they offered her a $179 credit for all the trouble. Bellhop Movers should be ashamed of themselves. They are a scam of a company and totally unprofessional. Save yourself the hassle and hire actual professionals.
