  If less than one star was possible, I would choose it. Do not hire this company. It was a horrible experience. After filling out the information about what I needed moved and speaking with them on the phone and being assured that they would move my upright piano the movers refused saying it was against their policy. The did not bring a big enough truck so they could not move my outdoor furniture. The movers were unable to take apart a bed frame. Please note: All they had to move was furniture and a few totes. I moved all the boxes and items that were on the walls myself. They left a rug and other items in the house, scraped paint and trampled plants. This was a move across town of a three bedroom house. It took them almost 8 hours. To top it off they charged me an additional $800. dollars for "extra hours". So in addition to not moving what they had agreed to I am being penalized for their incompetence by being charged almost double the original quote and having to hire additional movers. A move that was supposed to cost $1000 is now costing close to $3000. I am a 70 year old single woman and feel that I have been scammed and takes advantage of. Beware. Find a professional moving company.

  This agent was not able to resolve my issue, and bellhop owes me back at least half my money, if not a full refund. The gentlemen that came to load our truck were unprofessional, lazy, and had no clue what they were doing. I repeated several times that there were shelves that could be pulled out on top for mattresses or similar and they told me it wouldn’t help. I repeated myself 3 times. At that point it was clear they wouldn’t listen. They packed our truck so poorly. They informed us they would be leaving at 4 for another job. They left our house and garage a mess. We were left with a very poorly done job, and a truck that “had all the space used”. My husband called our neighbors who had to completely remove and unpack our truck to repack it efficiently. It was awful. And to boot, I never received a call back from this company.

  Had a terrible experience. They planned my move with two 26-foot trucks - they underloaded the 1st truck and sent it out. They then way overloaded the 2nd truck and still ended up leaving items behind. The items that did make it on the 2nd truck were severly damaged. My king size bed was totally destroyed. They ran out of moving blankets and loaded items without protection. Very unprofessional. I have moved over 11 times. Bellhop rates as one of my worst. My stuff is badly damaged and I am having to pay a proper professional moving company to pick up the items that Bellhop left behind.

  BEWARE! They subcontract their moves to disreputable movers. Guys on my last move were smoking marijuana on the job and didn't bring any tools. The team was late for the job by 6 hours. Bellhop is a fraudulent front...their customer service is based in the Phillipines...this is not a LOCAL company. Absolutely disgusting!

  Caine and Tairique were OUTSTANDING!!!!
  Prompt, friendly, efficient. These guys were one of, if not THE, best moving experiences I have had. Not only that, they were exceptionally personable. They're people who you'd invite over to hang out with. Anytime I move from here on out, as long as they're still in the business, I'm asking for them specifically. I highly recommend them. HIGHLY.

  PLEASE STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY!! FAR AWAY IF YOU CAN! THIS COMPANY ALLOWS MOVERS TO MOVE YOUR BELONGINGS IN FLIP FLOPS. The movers I had took their time! There is a fee for almost anything, changing address, rescheduling the date, then they say it’s $89 a hr for the movers after 4hrs but that is clearly a lie. I hate that I didn’t read the reviews before I booked them.

  My review is simple: Go find another company to be your mover. I am a mature adult who should have known better, who was duped by slick pre-sales web presence and a promise of a reasonable price and good service. My move was an absolute disaster that ended up taking a full week to complete, and cost me four times the amount of the quote provided by Bellhop.
  Bellhop that runs a moving business using the same business model as UBER…. You sign contract and they “post” your job and assorted freelancers reply that they will work on a crew to move you. A “Crew Chief” is assigned to herd these cats.
  Bellhop was the only mover I called who did not send anyone to scope the job. Instead, I answered some questions in a phone interview and they decided that my job would take five men, two trucks and a full day. I fully understood that I was being quoted an hourly rate, and that if the move took longer, I would pay more.
  My move was supposed to start at 8 AM. However, by 10AM , just one man had arrived. Seems that none of the people who had signed up for the job were going to show up for work. An hour later the first truck arrived, and then men began arriving one by one. These were not the people who had signed up to do my job, rather they were movers that the crew chief was able to call to fill in. The second truck arrived by noon. Neither of these trucks were moving vans, they were just large white box trucks. The move ended up taking three whole days to complete, which I paid 3x for.
  I had a piano to move. This was no surprise, as I told the phone representative this, and they told me this was not a problem. I also had a POD at the new house site that they had agreed to unload into the house. They knew this. However, the men who were moving me said they could not move the piano. And would not empty the POD.
  Over the past 25 years, we have moved four times, including a while house move to Tokyo and back. This was by far the worst moving experience I have ever had.

  Terrible service. Actually no service. (2) movers were supposed to meet me at 11:00 today. They never showed up! I called to complain and just got apologies. Offer to reschedule for another day. Ha! I’d already rented a truck and sat there for 3 hours. They’re hopefully going to give me a refund for the truck but what about my time? And now I’ve got to do this all over again. But not with this worthless company.

  They are liars and will do anything to get your business. Once they get your business you mean nothing to them and they will pass you on to the actual company who does your move

  Paid over $600 for 4 men to come to our 3bedroom house and load our 26ft truck. After the minimum hours and only loading about 2/3 of our house, the men claimed our 26ft truck was COMPLETELY full and that there was no way anything else could fit. We were able to fit everything they loaded on the truck into a single car garage. The guys had no idea how to efficiently load a truck. They loaded our boxes before furniture, they didn’t pad our furniture pieces, and they didn’t even try to arrange our stuff so that more would fit. They basically made one layer and called it quits. They left pieces of our furniture scattered around the house (I found legs to our sectional in three different rooms) and they left hardware to our infants crib just laying on the floor. Because of their inefficiency, we had to rent a separate U-Haul truck, take an extra day off work, pay for additional childcare, and complete the move ourself. The company advertises a team of “friendly, skilled movers”. The workers they provided were NOT skilled. A quick google of “how to load a moving truck” gave us more skill than the men they provided. Bellhop gave us a pathetic 15% off our bill despite our additional trouble.
