Bellhop called and left a message early moving day saying several of the crew members had called out sick and they would not be able to come. I had to scramble to find another company to move me. I still have not received a refund on the money I'd already paid. I'd give a zero if I could.Bellhop, Inc.

If I could give this business 0 stars I would. Do not EVER use this moving company under any circumstances. They took over 11 hours to move a 1 bedroom apartment 5 minutes down the road. The movers damaged my desk, broke a lamp and lost a large art piece of mine. I have damages around $1.5k and the movers did not let me know of the items they damaged I had to find on my own. Then when I tried to file a claim with this business they took MULTIPLE follow ups before they finally offered me a $100 reimbursement. This is the WORST customer service I have ever experienced. They are terrible to get in contact with, terrible to move your stuff and terrible at trying to reimburse a customer that they have wronged. Use any other movers, they do not have adequate movers or care about the customers they have. They will damage or lose your furniture then not help you at all after. This is by far the worst business I have ever worked with. Do yourself a favor and NEVER use BellHop Movers.Bellhop, Inc.

Horrible business practices.
I’m a single mom with 4 kids trying to move out of my house in December. Craziest time of the year. I hired Bellhops to move me. I had multiple communications with them leading up to the move. Got confirmation of my move day of by a text and also I called and talked to someone a couple hours before. They were supposed to show at 2. At 2:30 I get a call saying they aren’t coming. They don’t have a truck or guys for me. And they can move me 5 days later. Which is obviously not okay. A lot of logistics go into moving. Someone else is moving in etc. I’m going to be fined for not moving out in time. So I call and they say they will call me back in 15 mins. An hour and half later I call back. Nothing has been done. I finally talk to someone local who says they will be there next day at 2. If I supply my own truck. He offers me 20% off and to pay my late moving fees. I agree and rent my own truck. And next day ready for them to show. They cancel again. This time they decide just to cancel the full move. Because it will be a week before they can get to it. The woman keeps telling me they will give me a “full refund” as if I would expect anything else. But will not pay my late moving fees because they aren’t moving me. But this is their doing not mine.
Their whole company is based off logistics but can’t get this down? Very frustrating and horrible customer service. I asked yo talk to someone who could help me. She said someone would call me. Still waiting 24 hrs later.Bellhop, Inc.

I hired bellhop 2 weeks in advance, they cancelled my moving the same day. Couldn't do it next day so they moved me to monday. It's monday their customer support is not working even tho they have movings starting 8/8.30. They made us loose money, from work, from paying an extra day on our lease.Bellhop, Inc.

DON’T USE THEM! They will provide you a quote, and then bill you COMPLETELY different. Hidden fees, being charged for travel time for the truck and stuff to you, and to their next move. The customer service pre-move is really good, and then you get to move day and no one answers the phone. Then once they charge you the final bill, good luck ever hearing from them again- put on hold for extended periods of time, transferred to multiple people who can’t help, and then finally told they will call you back, and then they never do. DON’T DO IT!Bellhop, Inc.

Bellhop is hand down the WORST moving company I have ever had to deal with. My wife and I booked them for a move 3 weeks before our move date, and Bellhop canceled our reservation 1 hour before they were supposed to arrive. We had both taken off of work and rented a truck for our reservation date as we had to be completely out of our old house the following day. When we reached out to Bellhop directly after the cancellation and explained our situation, they were only able to offer a rescheduled date for 2 weeks later. I had to reach out to a local mover, pay an extra rush fee due to the short notice, and was only able to book 1 out of the 3 movers that we needed. We were almost completely finished with the move from the first house (with a different mover) when a Bellhop contractor showed up to "take inventory of our belongings" so they could see when they could reschedule our move. He then proceeded to stay and help move for a little over an hour as we finished. I asked him specifically if we were going to be charged for this and he said that we would not since Bellhop had messed our reservation up on their end. I contacted customer service the following day and spoke to a rep about the situation and they were adamant that we would not be charged at all. Since then, they have charged and refunded my account 3 separate times and I am now out $640 for a single mover that showed up and worked for an hour. I have attached receipts and account statements showing the charges to my account. I have reached out several times about this and it is still not resolved. Long story short, if you want a reliable straight forward move, avoid Bellhop at all costs.Bellhop, Inc.

Let me warn everyone out there...DO NOT use this company! I am in the process of contacting the news stations, newspapers and posting reviews wherever I can!!!!!!! I REPEAT FOR EMPHASIS...DO NOT USE THEM THEY ARE A SCAM!!!! I booked a move and they were SUPPOSED to arrive between 8 and 8:30 in the morning. When they didn't show I contacted them. An hour later they call me back to say they are not coming and they can't get me in for another week and a half! Said they were too busy! I have had 5 spinal surgeries and I am disabled. They left me completely stranded! And, they had already taken 600 out of my checking account which I was informed would take several days to return to me. We had to rent a uhaul and move everything ourselves! Then the next day they took another 600 out of my account.. now they have over 1200 and I need another surgery again. On top of that, I lost my couch, loves seat and a bookshelf (that a deceased loved one gave me) because we couldn't get those items out on our own. I have already reported them to the fraud prevention line at my bank and will be contacting a lawyer this afternoon. BEWARE, BEWARE, BEWARE!!!! I wish someone could have warned me!!!!Bellhop, Inc.

NEVER NEVER NEVER USE THIS COMPANY!!!!!!!
We had all the same experiences as everyone else on here has had! Canceled less than 24 hours before the move! The two truck drivers that showed up with their trucks didn't know they canceled the night before! So it screwed up their day as well! We've moved many times, and I've never had anybody damage as much of my furniture as these people did! They broke the glass on one of my antique china cabinets! They only offered us $100 for it! My husband said he wanted to dispute it, and they told him that we would have to take them to small claims court in Tennessee because that's where they're located! We live in Texas! I'll be giving this company a bad review whenever and wherever I can! If this was the last moving company on earth, DON'T USE THEM!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!Bellhop, Inc.
