      I hired movers and a crew for an 8 am move and received a phone call at 8:01 am informing me that neither the crew or the truck were coming. This company is unreliable I highly recommend not using them.

      We appreciate bringing the customer’s concerns to our attention regarding the staff availability issue that occurred on the day of the customer’s move with Bellhop on April 29th. We apologize for any inconvenience caused and we are thankful for the opportunity to address the matter.
      It is highly unusual for us to be unable to fulfill a move at the scheduled time or date, and we hate that we experienced fulfillment problems with our customer's reservation.
      We tried our best to solve the problem yet due to the sudden nature of the case it was out of our hands. Even though alternative dates were provided as well as a discount due to the issue on the move date, the customer wouldn't have had the availability to do the move on another date, this resulting in a cancelation, we provided a full refund for the client's booking fee and offer a future discount in case we're given a second chance.
      We appreciate all the patience and understanding. If any further questions or concerns are to be addressed we are more than willing to do so.

      WARNING..... Damages to your items are not covered as you would expect them to be. I have over $1,000.00 in damages to my massage chair, entry door, and door casing. I submitted photos & written estimates for repairs and was offered $150.00. I have called several times but cannot connect with my "customer care associate" (aka claims rep), I can only contact her (Jennifer P) via email. I was informed that Bellhops will only pay $0.60 per pound, per item - they state "this method of reimbursement is common within the moving industry" even with written estimates for repairs. I have requested my claim be escalated to a manager but as yet, no one has contacted me. My move took place in January 2023, so these events are current and ongoing. Additionally, when I booked my move, I also included an unload at my final destination. I had a 3 person crew scheduled but on the day of the unload, no one showed up. I spent over 1 hour on the phone (multiple phone calls) with the move coordinator only for him to tell me "they had 1 guy call off and the other 2 don't think they can unload your treadmill by themselves because you had 3 guys to put it in the truck so they backed out of the move." SERIOUSLY? they didn't show up because the job was too difficult? Eventually 1 person did show up (1 hr, 45 mins later) and my sister, him and I unloaded the treadmill, he left after that; my sister and I unloaded the truck by ourselves.
      Needless to say.... I DO NOT and WILL NEVER recommend Bellhops.

      10 minutes after the movers were suppose to be there Bellhop called and told me that one of the workers called out just now. They thankfully got another movers to show up. The movers started out doing well, but went downhill. They didn’t wrapped my furniture and rugs so a lot was damaged when I got to my destination and the rug was very hard to carry since it wasn’t wrapped. They put my bed frame right on the metal of the truck. I told them a couple times to cover the furniture. When they got halfway through the truck they just started throwing things on. I had to take half the truck off and put it back on correctly. They even stacked heavy things on top of fragile items like my artwork at the bottom of a pile. When I put in a claim they gave me back less than what I felt the damage was worth. They claimed to have sent my check only to later find out that’s they never did-claiming that there was a technical error in the accounting office. This technical error lasted for 3 weeks apparently. They finally told me another check was sent out after 3 weeks of waiting. We shall see if it comes through.

      Please BEAWARE of this company! I had the worst experience with this company. They DO NOT have professional movers. Infact, it came down to the point I had to call the cops on one the mover they sent. His name is KAESON M*******. He was very aggressive and had an abusive behavior.
      Unnecessary long breaks were taken after moving each piece and my move was incomplete. The movers did not move all my items and left with few items they put in the truck to another location where items needed to be delivered without my knowledge. I had to rush behind them and when I reached the location, Kaeson started behaving even more aggressive towards me, using abusive language and constantly mocking me, showing me middle finger.
      One of the customer support representatives named Trey, who was in touch with me and as well as with the movers was really immature and didn't understand basic common sense when I told him about one of the mover's behaviors. As per Kaeson, Trey told me I am not letting them move my items and I had to explain Trey that I as a customer who is paying $149.00 hourly why would I delay the move in process and ask the movers not to move my stuff? it doesn't make sense!!!!
      Whatever items they had in the truck they threw it causing me a lot of damage.
      BELLHOP is a horrible company and I DO NOT RECOMMEND them. They do not care about customers or their safety. I had to book another mover next day and complete my move which costed me and my time.

      I would never hire bellhop again! Worst movers I have ever had. I had a lot of damage to furniture that was valued over $1000! They destroyed a brand new expensive glass table. As well as the marble slab on my bar cart. The chair in my room is now leaning to the side because they broke it. Then they had the audacity to only offer $120 and then renegotiated to $175 (which I did not accept). We had to constantly remind the movers to wrap the couch and other items. They didn't even bother wrapping the glass table or the marble slab. They were extremely inexperienced! I spoke with one of their Customer Service Rep's Jennifer P and she was incredibly unprofessional and rude. This company thinks they are the "Standard" moving company and they are not. I understand now why their employees handled my valuables so recklessly, it reflects their company bellhop. If I were you I would stay as far away from this company as possible. Spend money on a reputable moving company!

      Our experience with Bellhop was awful. Bellhop is expensive, yet they use less than professional teams. They outsource to find a local loading contractor, a contracted truck driver, and a locally sourced contracted unloader. Because of this approach, there is no guarantee the team you are getting is any good, and ours was not.
      Our loaders did a poor job preparing furniture and loading, and many of our items were damaged in transit. Bellhop has been slow to respond to our claim and, in the end, provided a meager insurance payout because their policy is to insure by weight, not by value. Many of our damaged pieces were vintage and valued much higher than their weight.
      This feedback is to help others understand what they are getting with Bellhop: a company of unvetted contractors, very high rates, and a poor insurance policy. We would NOT recommend them and hope this helps others make a more informed decision.

      DON'T FORGET TO USE "DISPUTE CHARGE" with credit cards!!
      Bellhop, Inc has smooth front end handlers that assure you they are the number 1 moving company and you can "trust" them. We are senior citizens and I read the BBB rating, then an A-, and hired them for a December move. Trusting them meant they broke antique furniture, would not speak with my husband during the move about fragile items and which items went to storage, etc. But the heartbreak of all, was they filled the trucks they brought and said that's it. We can't put any more of your possessions in and it will cost you another $4000. to load the rest. We hired another company, RT Movers, who were superb. They brought our remaining possessions to us. I would never give Bellhop another penny. After much thought, my husband and filed a dispute with the credit card company we use. It wasn't easy, but it was worth it! The company found in our favor and our money was credited to our account. Take heed, they are scammers in our book.

      The response from Bellhop, Inc. is not correct. We have never received any correspondence or compensation: "We have already offered compensation for the extra charges and the inconvenience caused, and we hope that this will help to resolve the issue. " from Bellhop. Additionally, the credit card company did not refund our money so we paid for Bellhop and the RT Movers who finished the job that Bellhop left undone. I highly doubt that Bellhop has reviewed our case since we have never heard from them and they continue to issue false statements. But I will give them the opportunity to compensate us since they admit their poor service. Waiting.................

      They sent an email saying our move was "booked and confirmed"; however, they did not in fact book any movers NOR DID THEY INFORM US of the cancelation. When I called the business day before the scheduled move to confirm arrival time, the phone rep told us they have "no moving partners" in our part of the country, and they had known this for at least 3 weeks but failed to inform us. "Sorry" they said, "we are a young company." She would provide no info about why we were booked in a part of the country they CANNOT SerVICE nor why we were NOT INFORMED in time to book an alternative.
