I want to add my complaint about this company! Parked in a bank parking lot in Huntsville on a Saturday after 5 pm when the bank is obviously not open for business, No signage from this company about any type of payment. Now I get a bill for $45.00! Will be checking with the bank on Monday if they’re even legitimate.

A total scam company. No signs in actual lot. They had 1 very small sign on a building to the side, not even in the lot. We were there for a very short time and somehow got a ticket! We weren’t aware of it being turned into a paid lot. They are clearly doing tiny signs on purpose to give people tickets. I can’t believe this is allowed.

Scammers and predatory! Parked in a lot that I have parked for years for free. Had no idea it’s now paid to park. No kiosks visible. One sign that we completely missed as it off to the side. I would have paid a $10-20 as that’s the norm in Chattanooga but $40?! That’s insane. Chattanooga is not a large city and parking is usually $5-10. Then an additional $20 after 14 days? That’s straight robbery. Unacceptable and I can’t believe they are allowed to get away with this. I parked on a ******** gravel lot with no lights. What are your overhead costs that you can reasonably asking for so much.

The most inconvenient and expensive way to pay for parking. Their small signs have popped up all over Saint Elmo in places where it was previously free to park. I understand spaces downtown, but a smaller suburb is ridiculous.

I agree with a previous review, Birddog Parking is predatory and sounds like it is a scam!! I called the Chattanooga Police department to see if, in fact, that they were a legitimate company. I got popped with a 40.00 ticket and a threat of another 20.00 if it wasn’t paid on time. Shame on you Chattanooga for allowing such a shady company to operate in your nice city. There was no box at which to use your credit card. To pay for parking, who knew! It was like being ambushed. I’m from Mississippi and visit often but this didn’t have a good feel to it. I hope the city is getting some kind of kickback!! I’ll pass the word of this unfortunate thing that’s being done!!
    Unhappy in Mississippi!

ZERO STARS PLEASE! No clear signage, no pay kiosks, no trustworthy business practices. It's insane to think that anyone would trust a paper sign with a QR code these days! Um...no! Then when you don't fall prey to their scam, they issue you a $40 citation!

Terrible, predatory and clearly disorganized. I received a ticket almost instantly after parking, it's a lot where locals have parked after hours for years. It was not obvious that it had become a paid lot, with very small signs and no payment kiosk visible. I appealed the charge and received a reduced fee which I paid by money order. Several weeks later I got a letter saying that I had not paid, I called the mayor's office and was told they've gotten many complaints about Bird Dog parking and would look into it. They are either poorly organized or just maliciously refusing to accept my payment. They will NOT be paid again. There isn't a phone number listed anywhere they can be reached to discuss tickets or charges. Tourism is such an important part of Chattanooga's character this sort of fly by night Business will surely hurt our reputation.

Easy as long as you have a smart phone. I made the mistake of NOT choosing the 4 hour option for the $10 event parking fee at a recent UTC Mocs Basketball event and got tagged with a violation when my one hour clock ran out. I was surprised because i wasn't clear as to what I had done wrong. After calling the office number and leaving a message, I received a return call from Kevin, who looked up the details, saw that I indeed had paid the appropriate fee amount and reversed the offense and dismissed the penalty charge. He was polite and responsive.

We arrived at our favorite Chattanooga Mexican restaurant at dusk. We hadn’t been at this establishment for quite some time, but in the past always parked at this lot across the street. Signage that this is a now private lot is NOT AT ALL adequate. The penalty fee of $40 is ridiculous. BBB please do something about this RIP OFF “business”.

This “ company” uses paper signs to charge for lots that seem to belong to businesses that are closed for evening hours or weekends. Then they charge outlandish fees ($40) to unsuspecting people ( I would guess largely tourist not familiar with the knowledge of their paper signs) for parking. There is no kiosk, no permanent signage, no numbered spaces, nothing that would indicate a person should pay to park. The business website has no email address and no telephone number. Shady. Shady. Shady. BEWARE.
