    **************** is awful. Called this morning to get a replacement part. I didnt have the 5 digit number for the fan (even though there was an option in the automated system for this). Got a lady who stated she couldnt look up the fan even though I have design model name and specifics. She kept saying yep yep to me trying to explain it to her. I paid $600 for this fan. Need a ***********. I cant seem to get help.

    Hunter fans used to enjoy an excellent reputation but apparently that is no longer the case. I will NEVER again deal with Hunter Fan Company. I purchased six ceiling fans for my new home. Four of them were fine, one had to be replaced as the motor was not functioning and one had a bad receiver. Hunter sent me a replacement fan and a new receiver for the other fan. This necessitated hiring an electrician on two separate occasions. The replacement fan was installed today but the receiver for the second fan was also not functioning. Since this was the second time I had hired an electrician to install a BROKEN Hunter fan, I decided that I no longer wanted the fan. When I contacted Hunter about a refund for the second fan they informed me that since my request was outside of the 45 day window for returns, the only thing they could do is send another replacement. The reason the 45 day window expired is because each time I received replacement items from Hunter, I had to hire an electrician again to the tune of $230/hour and their services had to be scheduled according to their availability. I have usually had to wait 2-3 weeks for an electrician to be available. The 45 day window for returns would NOT have been an issue if Hunter had sent me functioning equipment to begin with. Now I am faced with hiring an electrician for a THIRD time because of Hunters exceedingly poor quality control. In addition, the people I spoke with at Hunter were of little to no help in resolving this issue. Take away: HUNTER SELLS JUNK AND DOES NOT STAND BEHIND IT. BUYER BEWARE!

    My hunter fan was a nightmare to install. There's not enough room for the remote receiver and the wiring. The canopy is toy sized as is the remote control. What a laugh. Ridiculous excuse for a fan.

    ?I just installed the ******** Tidal Ridge outdoor fans I bought and I am most displeased. I just learned that while the motor is indeed reversible, I will have to climb up a ladder unscrew four small screws on each fan, remove the cover, and only then access the switch each time I wish to change the rotation direction of the motor. Had I known that, I would never have purchased the fans. I think Hunter Fan Companys ads and product descriptions on their website (as repeated on their resellers Web pages often) are highly misleading not to disclose this minor detail. They disclose that the fans are three speed, have a reversible motor, and come with a wall control. What they dont disclose is that the wall control only controls on/off and speed and not reversibility and that you need to take apart the cover to change the fans rotation. Very misleading!

    Bought 10 fans for my home remodel and one of the Hunter fans was missing the Globe.I contacted Hunter fan directly and ordered the part but the wrong size was shipped to me. They gave me a refund for the fan but kept the shipping cost. I later contacted Hunter and was kept on hold for 15 minutes waitng for a manager that I could speak to but no one responded. I was sent an email telling me what already knew, they dont refund the shipping cost. I emailed back and reminded them that the missing part, nor the incorrect size they sent me was my fault. I never heard anything back. Im extremely disatisfied and unhappy with this company and will never buy a Hunter fan again.

    Shockingly bad customer service. They sent me the completely wrong item, never apologized or anything, and then made me jump through a ton of hoops over multiple days to prove that they'd sent me the wrong item. Maybe don't treat all your customers like they're trying to scam you, and isntead try being polite and working to solve their issues. Everyone I dealt with was super rude. If you have to deal with their customer service, I'm sorry. I recommend calling instead of doing it over email because they take days to reply to each email, and then their replies are just asking you for more information. Haven't installed anything yet so I can't say anything about the quality.

    I used to think Hunter fans were the best. I recently bought one and the light flickers no matter what bulbs I use.They say they will send me a new light module if I provide them with the receipt. I can't find the receipt so I'm stuck. To me they're no longer a good fan company

    Very Impressive Customer Service!Wow, I have to tell you that Hunter, the fan company, is the best I have ever dealt with in terms of their customer service in resolving an issue I had. I purchased a beautiful fan, but it wasn't working properly. I contacted Hunter and they promptly sent me a new receiver that they felt would solve the issue. Unfortunately it didn't. Then they went above and beyond and allowed me to pick a new fan of greater value. I did so and it was sent promptly. It's up, and perfect. I can't say enough about this company. As stressed as I was initially, they quickly resolved my issue and made me a very happy customer. I highly recommend their products to everyone!

    We purchase 3 hunter fans from ******* Two are still working fine. The remote receiver is not working with the remote or went bad. Now 1 out of 3 going bad can be expected, but not to stand by the products put into their fans is unacceptable. We purchased Hunter because of it good reputation. The customer service ***** only offered up to order a new receiver and remote for $50 dollars plus + shipping. Amazon sells it for $30.00. My reviews covers the poor customer service and the ********************** not taking responsibility for a part the failed. At the least let you purchase the replacement parts at a savings since you already invested in the purchase of the fan.

We can not locate any communication using the customers email and have reached out to the customer to look into this **************************** fans offer a Limited Lifetime Warranty on the motor and a 1-Year Parts Warranty for parts, a receiver is a part and would be covered for the original purchaser with a copy of a receipt for up to one year.We look forward to hearing back from the customer and offering further assistance.

    I purchased a fan for my bedroom. After paying someone to put it in I had problems with the way the remote would work. I contacted Hunter and they sent me a new remote. That didnt solve the problem so I hired an electrician to come check the wiring and trouble shoot. He said it was a faulty light kit. I called Hunter back and they said it was the way the fan was designed. You have to have a remote to operate and if your remote goes out you cant use a double switch on the wall. That only controls whatever setting was on last while using the remote. It doesnt have chains either so its totally dependent on the remote. They wouldnt take it back and their customer service was awful. They basically said we only recommend this light being used on a single pole switch. I asked them why it didnt say on the box a remote was required to operate. Good luck if your battery goes dead and you dont have one hand out of the remote is misplaced

    We are very sorry the customer is not happy with their remote controlled ceiling fan with integrated receiver. The fans light kit is not faulty, the fan has an integrated receiver meaning the fan runs only by remote control and has no pull chains as described.Customer Support explained how to wire the fan and control the fan, however this is not how the customer wanted to control their fan. The fan was not purchased from us directly it would need to be returned to the store where it was purchased as we did not charge or collect payment from the customer we would have no way to refund a payment made to another retailer.We will reach out again and try to assist the customer further.
