      My wife’s wheelchair has not taken a charge- the battery needs replaced- I called in April- it is now August- the chair beeps and flashes ALL day- it runs very slow- she is confined to a wheelchair and this is NOT at all acceptable. NSM said that we received a new chair which we did not. The mix up is on YOUR END you need to fix it!! HORRIBLE HORRIBLE Customer Service!!!

      If there were anywhere else on the planet I could do business to get my wheelchair needs met I would travel there rather than deal with NSM of Albany, New York. Do not return phone calls, are unfriendly in the office and totally unproductive team. If there was a zero star I would leave it. Go to any other DME provider other than NSM. Warning given.

      Regrettably, zero stars is unavailable.
      I worked with the branch in Middle Village NY, but it's clear from other reviews and complaints that the problem is nationwide.
      Let me start by saying that I have been dealing with wheelchair vendors for more than 50 years. So I have a large basis for comparison. This company has the very worst -- and by far the worst -- service of any I have encountered in all that time. As others note, they do not answer emails or phone calls. If you persevere and wait for an agent (which can take 45 minutes, that's if your call isn't dropped) they will make promises and not follow up, or express indifference.
      This group, clearly, is entirely uninterested in customer service. They have monopoly arrangements with large hospitals, and I would guess they make their money in selling equipment and dealing with insurers. Their tech people working with the hospital are knowledgeable and friendly. After that, it takes months (in my case, 9 months) as your case goes through their system. I had to call repeatedly, and even when the chair was ready they never notified me. Once the original equipment is in your hands, forget about getting a repair.
      My chair broke almost immediately. My emails about that were ignored. I had no replies at all. Finally, after three weeks of phone calls they picked up the broken chair. Three more weeks followed and nothing happened. Two more calls and they finally started to act. I was facing months of further delay, as their own online system (which rarely works!) confirmed. So yesterday I drove an hour and a half each way and picked up the un-repaired chair. I will seek another supplier.
      Really, their indifference is astonishing.

      Hello,
      Your Burnaby, BC location has the worst customer service. My wheelchair warranty is available until December, 2024. None or the tech’s can repair my chair on-site. I had to hire an independent contractor. My independent contractor repaired my wheelchair quickly. I expect to be reimbursed. Your Burnaby, BC office refuses to respond. Aweful service.

      Jeff D***** NSM is extremely knowledgeable and helped me tremendously ! Understanding my needs as a C56 quad for 44 years required all his credentials! I’m much more confident with NSM and feeling good about going about my life! I would highly recommend you call them no matter what chair you have or who you currently use!

      Never answer phone calls. Always getting the run around on parts . Penny the manager out or Albany branch is an *** !! So unprofessional. Unfortunately NSM is the only company in my area that services my power chair. No regards for people who are disabled!!

      Albany NY location no better unreturned phone calls chair less than 2 years old and it's a 380 lb doorstop 100% unusable no such thing as customer service with this company. Maybe Medicare will care since they spent thousands on this. Company should be closed down they are hurting mit helping the disabled people they don't care to serve. Called a different company in our area and they said they aren't allowed to help us because chaur came from National Seating and Mobility. You provide seating but don't provide mobility

      Huntington valley, PA location is absolutely terrible. Totally unprofessional and incompetent. Had a estimated repair date of 3 weeks. After they received my parts, they still did not schedule a repair visit. My repair date past a week and a half and I called there since it has been over a month total now. They said yes your part has been here, let's schedule you now, this is on 4/17/24, they gave me a date to come to my home 5/24/24, five more additional weeks. When I asked why they waited for me to call for them to schedule a date she told me she doesn't know there are five other schedulers there. When I asked for a supervisor she stated no they're only going to tell you the same thing. So I have been bedridden all this time and now had to cancel my order and call my insurance and file a grievance on the company. They are always 4 months or more out for a repair. The only reason they get one star is because you must leave at least one to leave a review. Please do yourself a favor and take heed, do not waste your time with their unprofessional service, they care nothing of the client only the cash that they will earn at their convenience.

      I can’t get anyone on the phone for one! I sent a message when I got the chair that the batteries were not holding a charge. This has been going on for a couple of years. Well I finally got through and told them about the batteries and also advised the arm material was crack and so was the back of the chair. They sent someone out to repair the seat cracks but didn’t bring any batteries which was the main reason I called. Now they won’t call back and will not answer my calls!!!!! I am so ******  that they would treat a disabled person this way!

      a bunch of crooks and liars. It is sad that they "serve" a community with such great need and are at the mercy of their services. A real disgrace. I have emails from their NATIONAL REP promising and confirming that my 14 year son, who sits in a booster seat UNRESTRAINED, that is car seat was approved. It has been EXACTLY a year and still no car seat. He has daily seizures and its unsafe for him to be in the car like that. And this is just one piece of equipment I am still waiting on. We also tried to order a stander, post hip surgery, over a year ago and still NOTHING. This company and these people are disgusting and should not work for people with special needs or disabilities. This should be a crime. I dont even know how they sleep at night!
