    On the first night, both my mom and I found a bug in our respective bathrooms. At first, neither of us really thought anything of it. But, the next day, we saw more. Not just in the bathroom now, but I was starting to find them in the corners of my room. And then I googled. And wouldn't you know it, they were roaches. I started to panic. And then I did some more searching, and a lot of things said that roaches in cabins are fairly common in Tennessee, as long as there aren’t signs of infestation. It was only a couple. We tried so hard to believe it was no big deal. Until that night, when I literally stayed up all night walking between my bathroom, my room, the foyer, and the kitchen, killing HUNDREDS of roaches. They crawled out from under the walls. They came out from under the cabinets and the fridge. They crawled out of the dishwasher. At 4am, my mom and I started packing everything to leave. We broke it to the kids when they woke up that we were cutting vacation short and heading home. What followed was two hours of heavily inspecting every single item we were bringing home to be sure there were no roaches hiding, and spraying every single bag and the entirety of our car with preventative sprays. We nearly ran screaming from the cabin once everything was packed and loaded. It was a nightmare. Then, we called to inform CFY, who laughed it off and told us we should have let them fix the issues before just leaving (how???) and eventually offered us a $250 credit to book with them again "to make things right." Ha, no thanks. On our way home, we did some digging and found that the property was listed on other sites, not just CFY, and that the owner was informed of the roaches weeks ago, and apparently did nothing to fix the problem in that time.
    We drove over 20 hours total and wasted thousands for nothing. So very disappointing.

    If I could give this agency 0 stars, I would. I made a reservation for the upcoming memorial with an agent over the phone. 3 days later, I receive an email stating my cabin had been sold with an offer to put me in a smaller cabin for the same price. I tried to resolve this, but I was drug across 3 calls in which I was told
    1. We can't do anything.
    2. You can get a similar cabin, but you pay the difference and we'll cover $500.
    3. Nevermind, we'll only cover $250.

    We rented this cabin in December. It is the most disgusting place I’ve EVER paid for! Because we had family, including 3 young grandsons, coming from 3 locations, we went to their offices the next morning to file a complaint! The only resolutions they offered were $300, of $2400+, or a credit for the next stay with them! Why would I Ever rent from them again? They NEVER gave us either! I’d like to include pictures of the disgraceful conditions. Because we started the process of getting a resolution on the first full day there, I feel that we got an unacceptable resolution. They have said we DECLINED their resolution, but we never heard from them again! Airbnb has said that because it’s been longer than 72 hours, they won’t help, either!!!

    If I had my way, they would get less than one star! My father booked Sleepy Bear Ranch cabin For Thanksgiving last month for his wife, children and grandchildren. It looked like they attempted to be update the property but it was done poorly. There was a bedroom added to the side of the house, there was no ventilation or heat in that room. It was cold and at night, down to 20°. It was infested with ladybugs, the kitchen was minimally stocked with mismatch pots and pans, the refrigerator drawers and the tracks they sat on were broken and it took two days for the refrigerator to cool off. The pull out couch had a mattress that looks like it’s been on there for 20 years, it was thin and had no sheets that would fit. It was dirty and the couch had a board underneath that stuck out the side of it attempting to give the couch support. The worst out of everything was dirty sheets on the back bedroom bed soiled with blood and hair. We contacted numerous numbers with minimal response and once we finally got a complaint sent out to The office the following week all they offered was a $75 credit for another stay! Unacceptable for a property where $2000 plus was spent. I highly urge people not to spend money with this company. They don’t care about their consumers. They’re just out to make a buck!!!!

    We stayed last week at one of their cabins. They say the hot tubs are cleaned between each stay so we didn’t say anything right away but there was a substance in the water. We assumed it was clean and would possibly go away. It was still there at check out so we just left a hand written note telling them about the substance (just wanted to bring it to their attention)
    I checked my online bank account and to my surprise, a fee of $250 was deducted out of my account from Cabins for you. I called them and they told me that was a substance was found in the hot tub and additional cleaning was needed. We have never made a mess or damaged anything during our stay that week or any other stay with them. They told me since I didn’t report it sooner, they think it was us that left it that way.
    I am so disgusted thinking about it. We even tried to call and speak to a supervisor later in the day and she said the same thing. We will never use them again. Looks by some of the reviews I see now, we shouldn’t have used them at all.

    The best thing was the view.
    1) we get there at 4 p.m. check in access code would not work waited 1 hour -1:30 before someone got. There we had call twice before they were dispatched.
    2) there was an infestation of lady bugs. My scary just pain in the butt sweeping up dead ones
    3) oven did not work called couple times that week and they never did get it to work. We find out by reading guest book been a problem for over 2 years of people complaining.
    4) hot tub did not have enough water with no way of filling it
    5) Hot tub light didn't work
    6) back porch light didn't work. Called and they never did getting it to work
    The management never offered any kind of discount other than future credit. Why would I rent from them again. We have been going to the area for 25 years worse experience we have ever had.

    They rented us a cabin infested with roaches. When we communicated this to them all they did was tell us they'd bomb the place. Did not offer any sort of refund for the awful experience. Was told they don't refund money for any reason, it's their policy. Buyer beware. They don't care about you, just your money.

    Holden On cabin 10/04/24 - 10/08. Arrived to dead roaches/bugs. Also had live roaches and bugs. Detour for cabin as road closed. This was not communicated. Been closed months before my reservation. Out of way hairpin turns. Stayed based on location to parkway but with detour not an easy shot. Cabins for you should have advised of this.
    Pictures advertise Keurig machine. It’s old Mr Coffee pot that took 23 minutes for coffee. Advertise dart board. There was only one dart. Many of the bulbs were burned out and upstairs toilet didn’t work. Maintenance fixed. Pillows flat as pancakes, old bath towels non absorbent, beds old and squeaky, oversized chair in living room stained, pots and pans severely scratched. Wi-fi super slow

    Horrible company. Booked a cabin simply blessed on 9/21/24 . Upon arrival the cabin was extremely dirty and smelled strong of mold. My wife which has asthma and breathing issues immediately shutdown. Also found evidence of bedbugs mold on windows and doors. Mold had been painted over on walls. Took pictures of all issues. Called cabins for you to request a different cabin refused to move us to different location. So we asked for a refund and initially they refused after getting a little stearn on phone they issued only a partial refund. You would think if a company couldn't deliver on the promise of a clean and stress free stay as stated in contract they would offer a full refund especially a cabin that would cause someone health issues with asthma due to mold. Normally dont like to leave negative reviews but this company needs shutdown for there shady unsanitary practices. Please save yourself the trouble and do not book with cabins for you!

    We stayed at bear skin cabin in gatlinburg tn. Didn't use the hot tub on the 3rd floor. Didn't check the lid before we left. Got a charge of ******* on my card. We will never stay here again. How many others were charged unfairly? Nicole told us we should have taken a picture of it. Didn't know it was broke before we entered. Disputing the charge.
