I booked a stay at the Wanderer cabin near Pigeon Forge Tennessee through AvantStay Aug.4 thru August 8 for over * ******** ******* in which over 6 hundred went towards cleaning fees..my guests and I arrived that Sunday to find 3 of the bedrooms had sheets and shower curtains with stains and mold on them..I sent AvantStay pictures and talked with a rep..also later to find out the TV in my room didn't work..dirty towels were left in one of the bathrooms..pool heating system was broken (in which they refunded me for that) we were there to celebrate birthdays and a anniversary..they did send people to change the linen later that day which was a inconvenience for us in which it should have been clean to began with. someone had to come that Monday to repair the tv..
This really put a damper on our vacation..there were 18 of us and we started cleaning tables and bathrooms ourselves just to feel comfortable.. the dishwasher had dirty dishes that smelled terrible. I spoke with rep and sent a email to them..the rep informed me that they would look into some sort of compensation but that was the end of that..they responded to my email by saying someone will be getting in touch..that's been 2 weeks ago..my advice is I wouldn't advice anyone to stay here..the cabin was not like the pictures they showed in their ads..

We are sorry for this guests stay at Avant Stay, but this is of no affiliation to our cabins. We would be happy to host the guests in the future to provide them with the stay they are expecting.

I wish I would have come here first before booking the "Pure Gold" cabin with Cabins of the Smoky Mountains on Airbnb's website. If I could rate it zero, I would. We booked a trip for the 4th of July weekend for our 26th Wedding Anniversary. Our cabin's issues were: Hot tub not heating, hot tub jets turn off and won't turn back on after about 20 minutes, crumbs, dust and dirt on the floor, there was a milkbone dog biscuit on the upper deck right outside the door that had obviously been there for some time, and was attracting ants. The refrigerator was not clean, we had to clean before putting food in, chairs at the table were not clean and had greasy fingerprints and dirt, the chair in living room front legs are bent out and breaking, making the chair a safety hazard. The bench at the table is missing an arm with hardware sticking out and snagged us when we tried to sit on it. The windows haven't been cleaned in some time, significant film and grime, the carpet in living room was slipping as we walked because it wasn't tacked down, broken cabinet door in the kitchen, there were dirty dishes in the cabinet, one of which looked like it was used and the put right back. Every wooden table top inside and outside are all scratched up and peeling up and need to be refinished, the downstairs bed mattress needs to be replaced, it's broken down a lot. The bathroom floor wasn't cleaned and the cabinets are dirty, there were cobwebs in the showers, the upstairs TV was broken and sounded mechanical. The footboard was missing on the upstairs bed and I hurt my leg on the metal sticking out. The blinds on multiple windows were broken. We called to have things fixed all weekend, and no one came to fix any issues. They call these "Luxury Cabins". HA! The "board" needs to stay at these gross cabins and be subjected to the filth! Since it was the 4th of July weekend, everything was booked and we were stuck in the rat trap! They should be ashamed of even offering these to stay in.

Wow, I'm just shocked at the response from Cabins of the Smoky Mountains regarding the "Pure Gold" cabin. Not only did it take them 4 months to respond to anything; numerous telephone calls during our stay, numerous telephone calls and e-mails after staying, and then finally leaving a response on BBB, but they have lied in their response. They didn't credit us ANYTHING, we received about half of our monies back FROM AirBnB. Thank goodness for AirBnb! We should have received back every dollar that we spent on that rat trap. It's a horrible business, and no one should EVER book their cabins!

I hope this message finds the right audience. I am writing to express my dissatisfaction with several aspects of my recent stay at Creekside Rest. While I was looking forward to a relaxing and enjoyable time, numerous issues significantly impacted our experience.
Misrepresentation of Property: The cabin’s condition and amenities did not match the description and images provided on your website. This discrepancy set a disappointing tone for our stay right from the start.
Cleanliness and Maintenance: Upon arrival, we were greeted with insect remains on the bathroom shower window sill, dust in all air vents, a broken handrail on the stairway, a broken bench in one of the bedrooms, and a cockroach in the downstairs bathroom sink.
Amenities and Services: Several advertised amenities were either non-functional or absent. The Wi-Fi was only operational in the bedroom. The bedroom TV and several electrical outlets were not working, with one outlet causing an electric shock due to it not being fully secured to the wall. The refrigerator and freezer were not operating properly, causing our food to spoil. The hot tub did not heat up adequately.
Health and Safety Concerns: The well water emitted an unpleasant egg smell, suggesting it had not been run/inspected prior to our arrival. The garbage scheduled for pickup was not collected, posing a health risk in the current high temperatures.
Customer Service: We found the tone of the guest service instructions condescending, and the lack of responsiveness to our concerns has been frustrating. Particularly from Steven, who I believe is not well equipped to handle guest services.
Accommodation Capacity: The cabin was advertised to sleep 14 guests, but we found it could only comfortably accommodate 10, which affected our group’s arrangements.
Additional Expenses: Due to the absence of basic cleaning supplies, we incurred extra costs to purchase items such as a broom, paper towels, and toilet paper.

nformed the property I selected had a minimum of 4 days stay. No biggie, but shouldn’t let me select less than 4 days on the website.
On day of arrival, we were provided a key code to get into the property which didn’t work. When calling service, we were told support wouldn’t be available until after 9am. We called back at 10:30am for an update and waited 30 min on hold to be sent to a voicemail box that was full. I texted and emailed as well with no immediate response. By 12pm, we were on our way to the corporate office to complain. We stopped back at the cabin, just in case and found service leaving as we arrived. No updated code, just unlocked the door. With no key or correct key code, we couldn’t lock our door the entire stay.
Once getting into the property, we found the hot tub was empty and not hooked up to the breaker so it couldn’t be used. It took until evening of day 2 for a service check to tell us what we already knew.
Additionally, the refrigerator was room temp and the upstairs bedroom window had an inch gap which kept the AC from heating the upstairs and allowed a pair of wasps to get into the cabin before I was able to prop the window shut.
I requested a credit or partial refund for the issues we ran into and our requests were ignored. We made the most of our stay, and no additional issues, but based on the quality and service, I would never stay at this property again.

I see now why they don’t post reviews on their website. Ha. Definitely do not recommend this business. Customer service was horrible was on hold the first time for over a hour and was hung up on. 3 times before I actually spoke to someone. When we arrived the floors was filthy, dust was thick on the stairs, no trash cans, no washcloths, or pot holders. They finally bought a trash can out on day 2. We had no broom or cleaning equipment. There was a vacuum but the handle was broken and you couldn’t use it. We had to go buy a broom, mop, pot holders, washcloths for our selves after asking multiple times. I called, emailed and text that the hot tub was low on water and dirty and no one ever came. I have pictures of the nasty in the hot tub. The baseboards were filthy and the stove hood and backsplash had food dried on them and disgusting. The grill didn’t have any propane we used it two times, but that’s the last time we ran out and couldn’t finish cooking. The pool table had a rip in it when we arrived along with one of the recliner’s wouldn’t close and a hole was in the wall we notice when we first arrived. The garage wasn’t accessible to us. The ac unit had a water leak it took them two days before they came for that, and they didn’t do anything really. The main floor thermostat would randomly switch from 70 to 90. And the beds was some of the hardest mattresses I’ve ever slept on. We did love the layout, and the porches, along with the location. But we will never stay at Rooms with a View again. I will also add the last man I talked to said he knew some of the issues other guest had complained previously but yet they was not addressed. There was also missing floor tiles and flooring in the basement. Definitely don’t recommend we paid about 9k for the week and it was definitely not worth it never again

HORRIBLY RUN COMPANY AND HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE! Our party of 19 checked in on a Saturday at 4:00 pm. Upon inspecting the cabin we noticed that we were missing bath towels, wash cloths, and a cloths iron. The floor on the main living area was sticky. We also noticed that one of our hot tubs had no water in it and the other was not turned on and was ice cold. We then went to see what was in the kitchen to cook with and to our surprise there was only one small baking sheet, four small skillets, one extremely small pot, and not even enough dishes to feed the number of people the cabin could hold, (SEE ATTACHED PICTURES). There were was no pots, pans, mixing/serving bowls or anything else you can imagine needed to cook, much less to cook for a large party. Due to the fact that we could not cook we had to pick up takeout. We reported the issue at 4:15. At 9:00 pm we were still waiting on towels and rags needed to shower. One of our party members did go to the main office to see if anything could be done and the woman working advised that they know we were missing towels and that they had three trucks making deliveries to over 400 cabins. They asked to speak to the manager and were told they would have to come back the next morning. Due to us being such a large party we had planned to cook in our cabin due to restaurants not being able to accommodate us. I will update this and let you all know if these issues were resolved. We were finally brought an iron and some pots and pans, the hot tubs were never fixed and we were told the company had no wash cloths. I was also told after calling every day that I would never be allowed to speak to a manager. I was lied to over and over by office workers and never offered any compensation.

We booked cabin, Cloud Nine, for our entire family of 19 people. Two hot tubs, a huge kitchen, every family had their own bedroom. When we arrived that afternoon late, we discovered that we only had a total of 5 towels (at most) and two wash rags. Not enough for a family of 19!! We called to let the front desk know and they told us it would be 2-4 hours. Not ideal, but we were kind and let it go. In the meantime, we went to Walmart to get our groceries to cook for the week. When we got home, we still had no towels. When we called the front desk back they were extremely unhelpful and couldn’t tell us when it would be that we’d get towels or washrags and proceeded to tell us there was also other cabins larger than ours that didn’t have them either. They even went as far as to tell us that if they called the crew, they’d just be told 2-4 hours like we were. We went and bought our own. Then, we realized that our kitchen had ZERO, pans to cook with and ONE pot. Again, we call and they tell us that their warehouse had a fire. Not sure when they’re going to get us our pots and pans. That alone is frustrating, but the little response or care from the company was unfathomable.
Later that night, we discovered that one of our hot tubs didn’t work. When the towels were brought we had someone look at the hot tub but they could never get it working. We even made multiple trips to the main office building to check on towels and pans- never a manager. We did eventually get part of our towels after 9 PM that night - but no washrags. Our pots delivered after two days. Both after we already bought our own. No lights on our balcony on the 2nd and 3rd floor worked, smoke alarms were not working, I could go on and on. Our main complaint here is that we have STILL have not been able to get any rightful response to these issues. All we were told was to call back 7-10 days after our trip… so our complaint can go before a board to see if we’re deserving of a reimbursement..

DO NOT RENT FROM THIS PROPERTY GROUP!! We booked hidden owl lodge for our family vacation and the condition of this property was disgusting. The decor was out dated, stacked with dust and bugs everywhere. The hot tub water was unclean and unsanitary, cigarette butts were floating in the water and the filter was completely black. The furniture inside and outside was unsafe. If all this wasn’t enough the constant foul smell of the water supply was unbearable. We had to brush our teeth with bottled water. Nobody was able to take a shower the smell was so horrid. Since we checked in so late that evening we had to stay overnight but the next morning we were at the office when it opened at 9am with our list of concerns and asked to be moved to another cabin. After two hours of negotiations the management finally agreed to move us cabins. (We were told that no member of management was on the office property and everything had to be handled via email, we asked SEVERAL TIMES FOR A MANAGER TO CALL US but we’re told that all complaints were handled Via email.

After we were given the new cabin, we packed and moved. It was very nice and clean however the downstairs toilet did not work and we asked several times for maintenance to check it out. They never came.

Run!!!!!! Away!!!! look elsewhere This place is a complete joke! I paid a deposit for a 10 bedroom cabin Mt Leconte Mansion to gather with family memorializing my son whose passed away, Haley a manager of this horrible/fake company called me less than 24 hours of check in stating the cabin I reserved theres been an issue - the previous tenants burned the TV in the theater room and the upstairs sofa in the game center the sofa has been burned. I ask if it would all be replaced she explained no, they could offer a 12 bedroom cabin instead. upon viewing what was available which was 12 suite lodge a total complete difference this is a airbnb situated in stones throw away from others a full parking lot like a mall outside i decided absolutely not this is not what I paid for none of my family members wanted to move forward. Haley the manager I guess.. she is said well I have to put this money in escrow I explained i do not want to rent the cabins that are offered. I do not want my funds in escrow due to your company failing to provide what I initially paid for and are forcing me to continue business with them. it escalated to Maleek guest services manager to be told the exact same we can keep your money in escrow even though it was our fault do not I repeat do not use this service they are horrible you will not be pleased. it will for sure be a surprise. you will loose your money and be forced to return based on their fake policy. it is a complete setup the website looks appealing yet you will not be 100% satisfied.
read the reviews had i read them prior to giving my money i would not be in litigation with these ****** *******
