    Rented a cabin here for the weekend. Upon arriving, we noticed that none of the tv's cable programming was working, (no signal). No comforters on any of the beds, the fireplace did not work, the hot tub cover was falling apart, and the sleeper sofa was so broken down that you could not sit in it. If you did, you couldnt get out of it. Also the heat pump stopped working properly, had to switch it to emergency heat to get heat. After several conversations trying to get all this fixed, or moved to another cabin. The only thing they did, was fix the tv's. Still no fireplace, no good sofa, and no top bedding for the beds. This was a special weekend for our grandkids birthday. The cabin was a complete dud. It was 600 plus for 2 nights. They never made it right with us.

    I rented a Luxury Cabin (Hidden Haven) 12th-15th of Jan 2023 in Gatlinburg TN from Cabins of the Smoky Mountains. When we arrived at the cabin, the oven, hot hub didn't work and the cabin was dirty (including bedsheets and beer cans). I cut on the Fireplace and there was a terrible odor (gas leak). I called to report the oven, hot tub and a gas leak and was told that someone would be out the next morning (Friday). The person that i talked to said that the Oven, Hot Tub and Fireplace was all listed on a maintenance list as not working that they failed to email me to let me know prior to arriving. I asked to change cabins on the 13th and was denied and was told that if I left I wouldn't receive a refund for the days that I left early. They stated that maintenance would arrive on Friday to replace the oven and fix the hottub.
    This company charged me a Hot Tub cleaning fee with my reservation knowing that the Hot Tub wasn't usable and wouldn't have to be cleaned. The cabin was dirty (trash hadn't been emptied, bed sheets dirty, no wash clothes and pill capsules found in the master bedroom on the floor) and also charged a cleaning fee (we had no place to put bagged trash because the bins were full. We couldn't leave the trash outside in fear of attracting bears.
    The amenities that were advertised didn’t work including the BlueRay player that runs the big screen (outside) and was known by the company prior to me checking in.
    Also there were roaches crawling in beds (I have pictures and video) including bed bugs that my daughter had multiple bites when she got up the next morning. There were two beds that had dried puke from the previous rental on the sheets that we found.
    The company said they would send someone out and no one ever showed up.
    This is 100% poor business and they need to be investigated for fraud as they took my money and didn't provide what I was promised.

    Like the previous review, I do not know where to start. When we got to the cabin, Highlander, we heard some music. All 3 tv’s we on so I thought the music was coming from one of those so we turned them all off. No, it was some workers listening to Mexican music 1 street down below us. I called and made a noise complaint because there is a sign that says “No outdoor music “.
    Over an hour goes by and we are still listening to the music clear as day through the cabin walls. We are here to celebrate our 15th anniversary and have peace and quiet. We called back. The office asked once again what cabin we were in, our reservation #, where the music was coming from, etc. They said they would notate a noise complaint. I explained to them they had a sign stating what the “rules” were. My husband called back. She then said there are quiet times 11-7. We took care of the problem ourselves. We kindly asked them to turn the music off. The office didn’t care. The cabin had broken cabinets that were just barely hanging off the hinges. Most of the drawers were scratched up and damaged in some way. There were also blinds that were broken and in disrepair. The smoke detector was taken down and put on top of the cabinet. The hot tub out side was a whole 44 degrees F the entire time of our stay. They said they would be willingly to fix it after we left if we would like! There were cobwebs in the bathroom above the lights, dirt and dust on the floors and furniture. When we called to let them know the condition of the cabin because we did not want to be charged for damage, they could have cared less! And oh! Forgot about the 50 person party cabins 3 doors down full of under aged kids. Didn’t call because of the prior fiasco of phone calls. Yup! They were outside until all hours of the morning drinking and listening to loud music. Cannot leave reviews on cabin company website. Why is that I wonder?? Do not rent from these people! Found bugs . Wish I could show pictures

    I don't know where to start. I will never stay with this company again. First night a creature came into our kitchen and took our food. Must have been pretty big due to the amount it took. The next night we couldn't sleep due to hearing it all over the place. The cabin sleeps 6 but you only get 2 towels. If you need to bake anything make sure you bring pans because they don't even supply a basic baking sheet. Nor any basic amenities you would get staying in a cheap motel. We called maintenance and they told up they would be out within 2-4 hours. Guess what? They never showed.

    I just stood there last week no water for 4 days bed bug bites I now have its been a nightmare ill paste what I sent management which never came
    ****** ******** and family have experienced nothing but misery during our stay at your location. Our first night no water ..it was reported they said to leave the faucets open we did nothing happened. Next morning I notice the pump under the house with the new plumbing was not connected I called reported it nothing happened till the next day. We waited maintenance said they needed access I told them 10 am was good 3rd day!....no one came still no water. I'm discussed to have me and my family with no showers , bad smells in ficis and urine smell in the toilets. The master bedroom bed has a huge crater in the middle horrible to sleep in. Lights in the kitchen and closet don't work, the backyard light doesn't work at night.
    we were not able to use the jaccuzzi the water was dirty and had to be used for the toilets. We have incurred numerous cost having to eat out everyday as we were not expected too. Our 10 month old has done nothing but cry because of the lack of water. (if the pump would have been plugged in and checked prior to check in this would have been avoided.) Our first day here we ordered tickets through the resort later to find out the attraction was rescheduled to an earlier time which we could not make. I called and Steven at your office was very condescending offered no help talked to me sarcastically.
    My family and I then waited all day after 3 calls to have a manager call us to rebook any attraction before we leave ...4 hours past no one called back ...
    This has been a nightmare for us 2300 for our stay for 4 nights of **** I will not pay I will dispute and take any legal ramifications necessary along with video and documenting reviews on what I went through with no water no bath no communication from your office and the lack of customer service
    No one has yet to call me and to me it's to late we leave ***

    The cabin "An Affair to Remember" was definitely one to forget! We have stayed at Cabins in the Smoky Mountains several times and this was by far the worst place we stayed. The outdoor hot tub never worked correctly. It would overheat to the point of being unusable. The temp would read OH (over heated?) then come DOWN to 109! If we left the cover off while we were away for the day, it might get down to 102. We tried to use the indoor jetted tub, but the jets did not work and the water there was lukewarm at best. It took 3 calls to maintenance to get someone to come and look at things. When he finally DID arrive it was after 10PM ("we work until midnight"). That would have been nice to know! The maintenance guy was very friendly in this awkward situation! They eventually refunded us $60 for "hot tub fee" after our trip. Be aware that this cabin has NO CLOSETS, only 2 hooks in the bathroom, no dresser, no place to hang coats or clothes, basically no where to put your clothes. You will be living out of your suitcases, and those will be on the floor. The amenities list an electric fireplace, but it was wood burning. There was not a hair drier (they did find one for me). The towels were tiny, scratchy, white "hotel" towels. Only 4 when we got there. These were for the shower and the hot tub outside. They did provide extra on request. There is a nice gaming, loft area, but it overlooked the kitchen and you could see how dirty the cabinets, ceiling fans and windows were. The linens on the bed were sparse, thin, and scratchy. Very disappointing. I would not recommend staying and this cabin. I would be hesitant to use this company again.

    My wife and I reserved the cabin called Together Always. After signing in, picking up the directions and code to enter the cabins we went to the cabin. We went into the cabin & saw the following issues: Mouse droppings on the shelves under the kitchen sink. The utensil holding tray was filthy. There was a 1/4" to 1/2" between the door and door frame allowing bugs to come into the cabin. The doorknob to the main entrance door was broke and wouldn't lock. The only way the entrance door would lock was with the key entrance pad from the outside. The gas grill on the porch the inside of it was all rusted out. Propane tank was still hooked up to it. There was a cooking grill out front. The propane tank was empty or close to it. No wood for the fireplace. The shower/tub and also the separate whirlpool tub both were not cleaned. Both still had pubic hair in them. Bed mattress and linen were disgusting. Mattress is cheap made. Hot Tub water smelled musty. Large amount of spider webs in the corners of the upper windows toward the ceiling. Front office stated that the cabin is private. Right across the yard are 2 other cabins. We reserved the cabin for 5 nights, drove 14 hours and left 15 minutes after arriving. We drove to Dayton, Tn & spent 3 nights at a hotel. We didn't call the Venture resorts office to make a complaint until after arriving back home. That is how upset my wife and I were. When we 1st checked in, I asked if we didn't like the cabin can we get a refund and was told no. The person did state that we could upgrade to a higher price cabin. When I did call the company to make a complaint, I was told by assistant manager Haley that I broke the reservation policy agreement by not notifying the company about the issues & that they would not refund the money. As I stated to her, they are also at fault for not verifying that the cabin wasn't properly clean, and any other issues should had been rectified prior to us arriving. A (1) rating is too high.

    Our cabin Big Thunder Lodge left a lot to be desired since we paid $1570 for 4 nights!
    It was NOT clean upon arrival. Wish I could download the pictures!!!!
    Had 2 kitchens and description said fully stocked but NO baking sheet to be found and only one small frying pan so imagine our surprise and displeasure at not being able to cook breakfast the first morning!
    No blinds in one bedroom so had to hang sheet
    FILTHY air vents- again, wish I could show pictures I took.
    Deck door off living room will NOT open - safety hazard
    Doors on bottom deck were taped shut and did not lock. Nope, not sleeping where doors won't lock so maintenance came and rigged it to lock.
    Dishwasher did not work and stagnant water in it!
    10+ towels in our bathroom but only 2 washcloths!!!

    My advise- Go someplace else!
