I sent them a payment November 1st. Today is the 16th and it has not posted. From ****, **** *********** to their PO box it take a maximum of 3 business days. This is not the first time they've held it up. They charge a $5.00 late charge. They charge $10 to pay by phone. ******* from there laughed when I suggested the payment was sitting on someone's desk. She laughed even harder when I said I was making a complaint. How these people get away with cheating consumers is beyond me. When I pay the post office extra to register the letter the payment is in, it always gets credited in a timely manner. In the past they held a check 6 months before processing it. They already charge 100% interest. Something needs to be done about these fraudulent business practices.Initial Complaint

This business just keeps adding more and more I make my payments have all duplicate of my payments and they saying I'm 600 behind there is no way. Then they charge u to do a phone payment which I feel I scam as he'll.Initial Complaint

This company has started charging its clients and extra $10.00 per month to use a credit card for payment when its the only payment method that they will accept! I have paid over $40.00 in fees due to this, that is another $120.00 a year tacked onto my account!!Initial Complaint

this company is charing a 10 processing fee everytime you make your payment by phone in the contract we signed no where does it state that you have a ten dollar processing fee...this company is scamming people for 10 dollar on top of there paymentInitial Complaint

** December 2022 I bought a lofted garage from southern lease mgt. it was 90 days same as cash, no interest. So at about 2.5 or 2 3/4 months into the loan I called them to get a pay off. The pay off was more than the original agreement. I had just paid about $1,000 or more in payments on this thing. I asked why is the pay off so high? She said let me look into that for you. After about 15 minutes of being on hold she comes back and says its, 90 days same as cash and that Its past the ************************************************************************* There is no way it was past my 90 days. I called them in March. So i feel like i just got shamed out of well over a $1,000. I want to pay off the garage in one lump some but not if Im just going to waste money. I asked them for a settlement they said they dont do settlements and snickered. At this point i feel like its a big ole shame. Im going to refuse to make any further payments until a settlement can be reached. Thank You.Initial Complaint

On May 10, 2021 I sign a lease purchasing agreement for a 10x20 storeshed, in the amont of $3895.00. Which required a security deposit of $233.70. I really did not understand the lease agreeement because it was written in a confusing matter. I questioned the dealer about my concern and still to this day, I have never gotten a firm understanding of the term on this agreement. For exsample after fees and taxes *******. it had a option of cost of $779.00 for what I did not know because I did not add any extra options, but was told it was building material that when up in cost. Mind you I brought my building when the was running a special. I did not understand this, I really think this company has add a whole nother $1,000 i fees in order to gain more profit. I purchased a storage shed from this company years ago. Got down to the last $572 and they themselves wouldnt work with me. Im on disability and have paid over $4500 to this company and they fought me in court and was able to take my shed that I only owed them $572 on to be completely finish paying for. It was wrong and in my eyes stealing from me to be able to lie to the courts to take something I really had paid for. The storage shed technically was only $2500 listed on the door of it. I should be allowed to give them that small amount of money and be able to get my storage back. It was wrong to push to repo something with that less of money owed on it. Many car lots wont even pursue a vehicle with that little left they will simply ask for the amount because its almost owed. Im hurt and taken advantage of. They took all my money and should not have been allowed to take anything from me after I tried to pay them the best way I could to finish that amount out and they refused.Initial Complaint

01/30/23 02/01/23 I received a letter stating my portable storage was 2 months behind and subjected to immediate reposession. I have owned this since July 2021. First payment was made August 2021. I have proof that I have made every payment. In January of 2023 it was 1 day late due to banking deposit but I paid it immediately the next day. That is the only time I've ever had a conflict. I pay $128.11 every month. They have me behind $291.97 which is not true. I have called them a total of 10 times just today and no one ever answers and it sends you to voicemail and then tells you that it's full. I don't think they are very professional in their business practices.Initial Complaint

I paid all payments on time I deferred one payment and called ************* and all of a sudden, the building was out for repo. I made 2 years worth of payments and I was never late. They decided without calling or sending a letter they would not defer any payment and started charging late fees 20 a month. THIS COMPANY IS A COMPLETE SCAM. Not one time when i called did anyone tell me any different.
