      I reached out to cancel my account and was sent the Closure Form by ***, which I filled out and returned on March 19. I received the following confirmation:
      "Thank you for sending back the closure forms. We will begin processing your closure request promptly.
      Best regards, ****
      Today is May 5, and my bank account has since been charged twice for the service:
      April 2, 2025
      May 2, 2025
      *** has not responded to any of my follow-up emails, which is deeply concerning and makes me question the legitimacy of the service.
      Please contact me immediately to confirm the status of my account closure and issue a full refund for the charges made after March 19.

      Elavon/Talech has been extremely frustrating to deal with for our company. Constant hardware and software issues, but the big kicker was when we recently realized they had been charging us for several pieces of hardware that were returned over a year ago. There were also several other charges that Elavon refused to explain, but were then taken off of our next bill. We have been trying to resolve this issue for a couple of months now and have been literally ignored over and over. I have continually reached out to FIVE employees that we have worked with previously (***** ****** **** ******* ***** ****** ********* ********** *** **** ****** only to get zero answers. Completely unprofessional, we will be looking into other options for our POS and apparently will have to issue chargebacks since we cannot seem to get credits in any timely manner or any communication at all. DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME.

      Elevon STOLE $29,000 from us a few months back then after the bank returned that money because they had no right to charge us, they AGAIN stole $25,000 from our account under a new merchant ID and new ACH name. They operate under several names on your bank statement. There was no justification for these charges. ******** *******" (probably not his real name) is the one who overseas this FRAUD operation and he is a con man who pretends like he doesn't know who you are every time you call in, even if you talked to him a few minutes prior, but behind your back initiates what can only be described as criminal fraud. Just today, they manually debited our account again for $2,385 ten (10) times without any justification for doing so. I will not be leaving this alone and I will keep posting complaints and reviews online detailing what will transpire going forward. I will also be seeking legal council and will file complaints with the FCC and other regulatory agencies. This criminal behavior must be stopped. Look how many businesses they do this to.

      I have experienced significant issues with Elavon's services, including undisclosed fees, unauthorized account changes, and unapproved fund withdrawals. Despite canceling my account and requesting equipment return instructions, I received no assistance. Subsequently, Elavon referred my company to a collection agency for a debt I do not owe, damaging my business's reputation. These actions violate the Canadian Code of Conduct for the Credit and Debit Card Industry. I seek immediate resolution, including a detailed explanation of billing discrepancies, a refund of unauthorized charges, confirmation of account cancellation, and removal of negative credit reports.

      I run a medical practice in Northern California. We switched to Elavon as they came recommended by our Electronic Medical Record (EMR) company. It has been the worst decision I have made in 25 years of business. We are 48 days into our working relationship and they currently have over $200k of our working capital held up in an account for 2 weeks. It's greatly affecting our business, and the health of our patients. This is complete negligence and total fraud. They originally flagged us for because we went over our estimated ticket price (remind you this was from the first month working together), we resolved that over a week ago and since then they have delayed payment, put us into 'Credit" which paused all payments, and will not transfer me to a manager. I am getting our lawyer involved!!! Stay away from Elavon.

      I went out of business because of these guys. They closed my accounts and they are still charging me and sending me bills on mailing address of accounts i have prove that they are closed. This is totally ridiculous. They said it's just ***/month but the bills they sent me were of **** a month which is just crap.

      This is one of the worst Merchant companies we have ever dealt with, they are with holding 2k of our money, they are holding it for 180 days which is overly extensive, the AE girl was incredibly rude and unprofessional, DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME WITH THIS PIECE OF SHIT MERCHANT.!

      Horrible company to deal with. They delay, deny and defer issues. It is very hard to get things resolved with them.
      They continue to charge fees and HOLD YOUR MONEY HOSTAGE.
      Their fees are exorbitantly high.
      There are some employees that are really helpful in the organization - but basically they do NOT have the power to make real adjustment or changes. Horrible company.
      There are plenty of fish in the sea - go elsewhere to give your credit card customers to.

      SCAM! FRAUD! Check your mailroom for boxes from this company including Credit card terminals.
      They send them without approval and sign you up for an agreement without any contact by the company and start billing you for a product you didn't want or sign up for it... please Government, do something about this!!!!

      Was just starting up with Elavon and my first two CC payments were put on hold (2 weeks now) with no resolution. Zach who was in charge of it requested tons of paperwork that i immediately sent over to him. After saying he never sent it I cc'd several other people when I resent it and everyone got it but him (or he says). It's 14 days now since these payments were sent to me and I am no where near getting a conclusion.
      The other thing is a lack of communication and skill within the set up/technical department. I had the trainer set up my account to receive USD and convert it to CA. I tested it and didn't work. Now another department is saying I need to integrate the site with a hosted payment page which would have costed me 700$ for a programmer since they don't have the codes nor technical help to get it done.
      Now all this time later I am still waiting on my money and I refuse to send any more clients to their pages since they can't work together with each nor me. Very disappointing and I know they'll just say give us 15 days ( YOU HAD YOUR 15 DAYS!!!) Get your department that puts everything on hold and tell them everything has cleared - explain WHY you're holding my money!!!
