      Evalon has the worst software support and the worst fraud prevention filters you could imagine. After repeated fraudulent authorization attempts on Evalons own internet "buy now" buttons they shut down the account, their fraud filters are the worst: the country IP block list for the attackers blocked all transactions from the United States; the velocity filter limiting transactions per hour allows hundreds of transactions; the velocity filter limiting number of attempts from a single IP address allows unlimited attempts; there is no way to block a range of IP addresses just individual addresses; global settings do not stick when selected; the captch protection does not work or protect the terminal access.
      All in all their software and software support is a joke, they recommended turning off the country block list to fix it's blocking United States transaction - they had no idea why that was happening or how to fix it. Same with all the other software problems. So because of their filters not blocking Brazil or account was yet again shut down from fraudulent authorization attempts.
      If you are new to merchant accounts set up a separate bank account for receiving you payments so you can close it when you close you merchant account - that will stop them from draining your funds as they please for services, fees, and fictitious charge backs. If there is a charge dispute they can put it in writing and mail it to you business, which is how the dispute process works.
      I would think twice about using Evalon in the future they are as bad as ***** **** ******, which is the absolute worst merchant service both will cost you 10 to 15% of you gross.

      I cannot stress enough how much to NOT use this company.
      Their software and solutions aren't bad, they work as described.
      The company itself - is THE shadiest and most corrupt company in the world.
      We had a sale going on with our company that caused an increase in sales - which triggered their "loss prevention system" to disable our account. Ok, understandable.
      Problem is, this happened on a Friday - and the continued to collect payments from customers for Friday, Saturday, Sunday, and Monday (even though our account was disabled and they didn't pay us) - and it wasn't until Monday at 3:30 PM I found out my account was disabled after I had to call in and ask what the problem was.
      Ok, so poor customer service - I could get past that I guess.
      THEN - after closing our account because we did too much in sales, they then proceeded to tell us that we need to put in a nearly ******* deposit to cover any charge backs (mind you, we haven't had a single one in 2 months). So they demanded it - we were reasonable and said "fine we'll give you a $****** deposit to hold just in case".
      Well, THEN they demanded that we refund almost $******* in sales to customers not even asking for a refund. NOT ONE.
      When we didn't agree to that - they LITERALLY went back and started pulling back payments from weeks ago somehow, we made to a credit card that we ordered devices for customers. So they started racking up *******'s in credit card debit for us, pulling back payments we had made to our credit card - despite not ONE customer asking for a refund in the past few months.
      Our point of contact Lena ****** at Elavon - didn't care she was costing us almost ******* in profits, and that no one bothered to contact us that our account was frozen was just not her problem, and she didn't care - she just continued to rack up charges on our credit card in pulling back payments AFTER we in good faith gave them a ******* deposit to cover any returns.
      Avoid this company like the plague.

      This is by far the worst merchant company, listen very carefully if you have not used their service, you will expect: 1. random charge 2. poor communication 3. hold your funds whenever they like 4. close your account without giving you any specific reason

      First of all let me start by saying this a terrible company.I suggest that if you are a small buisness owner dont let anyone tell you to give them your buisness.This company held 1900 dollars of my money in what they call reserve for over 90 days and over and i had to fight tooth and nail to get it back.Oh and dont let me tell how much they stole out of my acct without my knowledge before i had to get my bank to put in a dispute to get it back.So any small buisness owners i suggest run because it seems to happen to only small buisness owners before any buisness dealings with this company fraud,fraud,and fraud. And also in closing their debit card machine will glitch in about 2 days costing you to lose. I would give zero stars if i could.

      Elavon closed our account as it "triggered review" randomly after only 1.5 months of seamlessly working well. they are holding $650 in our customers money and say they will hold funds for 90 days where they will then "re-review" for release.
      Re review? That is OUR money and OUR customers money. NOT elevon. I absolutely recommend small and large businesses stay AWAY from elavon. customer service is nice but the service advisors and everyone higher up BLOWS.

      The worst customer service and business service from a company I have ever experienced. The tag fees without proper notification. Change Terms and Conditions without proper notification and refuse to accept responsibility for the errors within their organization. I have attempted to work with the company as a small business owner to remedy errors in fee changes and the company refuses to review their practices and continuously operate under the pretense that they have reviewed records and accounts and found not fault internally with internal charges and processing. I am filing a Better Business complaint and also reaching out to the Attorneys Generals Offices in the State of Georgia and NJ for regarding Elavon's business practices. I also filing a complaint with my banker regarding same. Stay away from this organization and any associates that are part of their business partnership. You will regret any business association with them. Please do due diligence before signing with this company. My advice is stay far away from any business association with them.

      Small businesses....STAY AWAY FROM ELAVON!!!!!! They steal your money!!!! After 11 years I closed my small business, closed my Elavon account, returned all equipment as per their instructions BUT THEY STILL KEEP TAKING MONEY OUT OF MY ACCOUNT EACH MONTH 4 months after closing out my account!!! This seems to be a common trend on how they treat small businesses.....read the reviews....DESPICABLE SERVICE....STAY AWAY!!!!!

      UseCaution: I’ve been processing credit cards for over 20yrs..Recently changed processing company and Elvaon was assign to me. In the short time I was with company I had 2/ customer file false chargeback disputes unfortunately this is part of business. I uploaded all supporting docs as requested however Visa -MC never seem to honor legal binding g contracts. We are always successful in small claims. Moving forward, Friday I went to process a transaction only to find out our merchant account was closed by loss prevention Courtney without no notification. I immediately contacted her, no success never returned my call. Monday, finally I reached her she states as a new merchant account I was a risk that’s why she closed my account and in fact said she had no idea what kind of business we had.
      Tuesday October 24, 2023 I viewed my business checking account only to see she had w/d $19,035 ($1903.50 x 10) imagine what the hell did they do. Again immediately contacted Elavon, the rep Doug was in shock, couldn’t give me an answer said I would have to talk to Courtney in loss prevention, left several message no response. I contacted Swipesum who signed me up with them, nothing just got email SORRY WILL LOOK INTO IT.I finally contact my bank and my attorney. Use Caution very unprofessional and dishonest. This matter will be taken care and company be investigated for bad business practices

      Elavon charged us for two months after we notified them we were discontinuing service. Zero credit cards were processed during that time. They owe us $65.90.

      This company is evil. My secretary signed up and got the device. We only used it once because we didn't like the service and moved on with square.
      This company has been stealing money from my company for 4 years.
      They charged me fees every month for 4 years. Over $4,000!!!!!! For something i never used and canceled!!!!!
      When I realized, I called them requesting my money back and they offered me $200.00.
      This is the worst company in the market beware!! They refuse to solve issues and they steal money!!!!! I'd give you 0 stars if I could.
