  MLG&W...I just got off the phone with customer service to dispute my Bill when I say that she was already in go mode for a argument,I figured that already but I still acted professional and she kinda come down..smh but I get highly offended when I'm feeling dummy down when you explaining something that doesn't make sense,I payed a normal bill for 260 in July for **** and it's zero balance,I haven't received a bill and mind I was one of the customers who lights have been off for a combined time of 3 and a half week in July and August,why I'm looking at a Bill now stating I owe a Grand total of ****..wow? Please lady make it make sense,basically you telling me that my bill for 2 months is 650 each..? I received 3 Sept bill all in one month the 6 of Sept 360 the 14 of Sept 937 the 29 of Sept **** that's crazy.I done can't text anymore.

  This is by far the worst place to have electricity. My power goes out at least once every other month for hours at a time very unreliable. The lines in the ground are 70+ years old. They refuse to pay for lost food due to their poor service. Always have 3+ trucks with people show up to do nothing but pull out lawn chairs and milk the clock

  MLGW is nothing but a scam. They sent me four bills this month and stated I didn't receive a bill for months, which is not true. They sent me two statements in May, but no statement in June. Two statement in July, but no statement for August. Clearly, is a statement for each month, they just changed when they were mailed out. I did everything in my power to lower my bill by following what THEIR energy advisor suggested, and they bill me based on an estimate. Shut them down and give the city other options to choose from. In an economy where inflation is still on the *********** will financially struggle or become homeless trying to pay extremely high bills. MLGW STOP charging your customers for YOUR broken system. This is RIDICULOUS!

  This company is the worse I was born and raise in this trash slum of a city everything is trash but the one thing about MLGW you have no choice because they are the only light company in town its corrupt and they will bill you thousands of dolllars for no reason . They will say we forgot to bill you last year and then hit your account for 2k 3k 5k whatever they please if you can avoid the city of Memphis please do . They are legit robbing customers

  Mlgw is about to have me with no utilities due to the way they bill customers. Why am I paying my bills in full to get multiple bills dating back to the begining of the year. They go several months without sending bills and then hit you with an outrageous amount from seasons prior. How am I going to ever get an accurate bill? I've never paid bills on time and had to stress about them still. I paid my bill last month and was told I had a $200 balance well how 2 weeks later do I owe over 1k. Someone needs to stop them asap!!

  MLGW is the WORST!!! There job is to provide electricity to the city of Memphis and they do a very poor job of that. I have lost power multiple times this summer due to storms. Other areas around Memphis have not had nearly as many days with out power and dealing with the same storm systems......MLGW *****. I give them NO STARS!!!

  They are trying to charge me ***** dollars for one month of gas. Our payment is always on time and they keep saying they are going to fix the billing issue and still have not. Its been 3 months. We live on a budget and very confused about how to pay and in fear of losing our utility

  MLGW don't deserve any stars. They are a f***** joke. I HAVE BEEN WITHOUT POWER SINCE July 18, 2023 , and I had to throw out food , issues with AC , garage door issues from all these power outages. These incompetent workers cut the utilities back on for neighbors less than 100ft and all neighbors that live in covesacs which are about 38 had no **** power don't make no **** sense. And they say THEY don't charge when utilities are out that's a lie because when u get your bill it's for a period of time nothing indicates you are not charged for the time your power is out. THERE is a daily rate indicated ON bill. MlGW has not updated their utility system or cut the f***** trees they keep saying is the problem for the outages. I guess if you are important like a judge, politician, etc your power is turned back on quicker. They need some competition because this is ridiculous.

  MLGW is a corrupt entity of the city of Memphis. Every time the wind blows the wrong way the city and county have a huge power outage. With as much money as the company pays the *** there should be a plan of correction for this problem. The *** should look into this city. There are so many problems there has to be a criminal element behind this.

  This utility is the worst company I have ever seen. I have lived all over the country in 14 different states and I have never experienced a utility this bad if any condensation comes from the sky, the whole power grid goes out. I have lived in *************** and it was better there during wartime. The city needs to do something about it special interest, groups aside, and maybe diversify the utility a little bit with some competition. Horrible horrible horrible
