Claim - 4A2204D1BKF-0001 - *********************** - Date of Loss: 04/11/2022 - AU Hyrecar and the partner company Sedgwick Insurance are not honoring what their terms say about having the highest insurance on a car that I placed on their platform that was totaled by a renter on from their platform. I have been contacting Claims manager, *********************** ***************************************** and she has been rude and overall unhelpful on fixing my issue. (Which I have proof of through audio recordings.) And has sent me to multiple wrong emails to fix the issue that her and the claims adjuster caused. Last time we spoke I was told that the issue would be resolved by ****************************** I would Receive a call back the week after. Its been a Month now and still have not received any check nor spoken to anyone to fix this issue. I sent them proof of exactly what the renter damaged on my vehicle and they began to ignore my emails and calls. Hyrecar also has not returned any of my calls to fix the problem and they never paid me out for the damage that has been done to my vehicle. Overall I want full accommodations for my vehicle damage due to me having the highest insurance while the vehicle was in the renters hands & have proof of exactly what the renter caused (Pictures, and messages along with an invoice from a mechanic shop.) and I have the renters information. To add to the situation when I spoke to Sedgwick so my Lawyer can get in contact with them they gave me the wrong address which happened to be two PO Boxes. Overall Sedgwick does bad business and I expect to be paid in full.Business Response

On 5/3/22, I was involved in a vehicle accident with someone who is employed with ******* Corp and Sedgwick is handling the claim. To date, Sedgwick has done nothing to resolve the claim, has promised to call me back and does not do so, has hung up on me, and has failed to resolve any issues dispute issuing me a letter stating that my claim would be closed in 30 days if I did not contact them.Initial Complaint

Sedgwick refuses to answer emails or calls. They refuse to issue payments and have stopped doing so without explanation. They have messed with my TTD from the start! They have never paid my mileage in over a year (the starte of my claim). They have horrible customer service they lie, and the cause harm to anyone who has a claim.Business Response

My name is ***************************** and my email is ************************* In March of 2022, Fitbit issued a recall of their "Ionic" model Smartwatch. I had multiple fitbit ionic devices and submitted all of them for the recall. It was promised to me that I would get a refund within 3-6 weeks, but I still haven't received it. It has now been more than 17 weeks and I still haven't received my refund. When I contact fitbit, they tell me to contact their outsourced recall center which is hosted by Sedgwick. I have called the recall department of Sedgwick over 20 times and my case has been "escalated" by them over a dozen times, yet the refund still has not arrived. The fitbit team keeps telling me to contact Sedgwick and Sedgwick keeps "escalating" the case but never doing anything about it. I had 10 devices that I was supposed to get the refund for and I have not received even a single refund. Back in April 2022, **** had contractors digging on my property to install some new cables for a different property in my neighborhood, in the process the contractors broke one of the main water lines to my sprinklers, after some time I was able to make a claim and the claims go through a claim company by the name of Sedgwick, I havent heard a single thing since then and I have submitted all proper documents showing damage and estimates to get the damage repaired, Ive tried reaching out SEVERAL times and I get no response.Business Response

Claim Number# 4A2205N6VKQ0001 I initially emailed my claim to Representative (*********************************) of Sedgwick Claims Department on 9 June 2022. ******************************************** ************* I did not receive a response and I repeatedly called and left messages. So I emailed Supervisor (***********************) on 13 June 2022. I still did not hear from anyone. *************************************** (************* On 27 June 2022; I heard from ********************************* and she apologized for the timeframe it has taken to respond. She then told me that she had reviewed my claim and issued payment for my claim and that I should receive a payment within **** business days in the form of a check to my address. No payment ever came to my address and on 20 July 2022. I reached out to ********************************* by phone and email once again to inquire about why I have not received payment. I got no response or even a callback. Sedgwick is a damage claims business that provides covered for a 3rd party delivery service that Best Buy uses to deliver appliances. On a recent delivery to my home this delivery service damaged my home. I was told to call Sedgwick and they would take care of me. Initially I got a hold of Sedgwick and they provided me a claim number. I was told I would be hearing from an adjuster within 2 days. That was nearly a month ago and still no one has contacted me. I have called the Sedgwick number atleast a dozen times and left messages to call me. Still no call from Sedgwick. Best Buy has sent them messages to contact menothing.Business Response
