My issue is with a claim that taking 5 weeks to resolve with HYRECAR/Sedgwick. looks like thats nothing compared to other complaints on here. As everyone can see in the complaints below and what im sure are to follow. This doesn't make sense to leave any sort of complaint on here. I have yet to see a company with so many complaints and ****** nothing ever changing. Everyone on here should file complaints in their states ******** of ******** Affairs and ******** of banking and Insurance as I will. SEDGWICK INSURANCE COMPANY CLAIM# 4A22084TSQV-0003 BI ADJUSTER: *********************** TEL: ****************. Accident Date: July 28th My issue is simple. Out of most of the reviews in BBB most of them are about sedgwick clients. Well mine is not. My lawyer is actually trying to reach out to the adjuster assigned to the case but not able to reach them. Adjuster was left constant **************** I have no car for the last 1 month almost. I cannot believe how they are taking so long. In my police report I have proof of exactly what happened & how I was hit by their client insured tow truck driver. I hope this review by them is not something they use to decide how they deal with my claim. But I am not able to work neither am able to go to work due to having no car. I live in Brooklyn & work in *** so no means of Public Transportation is available for me either. I just hope they please understand my situation & take liability ASAP give the approval to fix my car so I can take my car to repair shop.Business Response

On July 27 ********** accidentally busted my rear window. I have been dealing with Sedgwick insurance since then. I have not received a call back despite asking for one weekly when I call to be told he isnt available.Even according to their records he has not made contact since the 1st of august. I sent all the pictures of estimates and damage. A few days later asked him to confirm he received them via email,still have heard nothing. My truck is getting severely damaged and a month later I still have yet to be able to talk to my claim representative nor am I any closer to getting this resolved despite ********** not disputing the claim at all. Today I called and was trying to talk to a supervisor and was at fist told he left for the day (it was 12:30 on a Tuesday) and wouldnt be back the rest of the week. The next person I got said I couldnt talk to a supervisor until I had multiple no call backs which I have even according to their records but still was denied the right to talk to a supervisor about my claim representative not getting back to me for the last month.Business Response

On 07/06/22 I spoke with claims adjuster ****** regarding the accident that I was involved in, this was a rear end collision for which I am now in severe pain, Adjuster ****** stated that I would receive a package from the insurance company, its now 08/20/22 and I have not received any correspondence, any disability payments thus placing me in a financial hardship. Not only have I left multiple messages but also the treatment provider who is in constant contact with ****** and no response for treatment authorization and no response regarding the package or compensation.I feel that this complaint is necessary to ensure that others who are going through the same situation have an idea of what to expect from Sedgwick Insurance.Business Response

I filed a property damage claim on 7/2/22 when mega **** logistics damaged my cabinets and trim while installing appliances purchased through Best Buy. The claim is supposed to be resolved within 21 days. It has now been 45 days with no resolution. I have followed up countless times with no response from anyone. Both examiners and the supervisors phone go straight to voicemail and I have no gotten any call backs. I have been told to "wait" via email several times. When I call the main claims customer service line I am told someone will call me back within 24 hours yet it has been 45 days without a single call back. My property is still damaged and I am now losing rental income as well.Business Response

I paid Best Buy to install a washing machine at my rental property. Their contractors flooded my basement apartment during installation on 7/2/22. Best Buy told me to file a claim through Sedgwick, which I did. On June 7, Sedgwick emailed me a settlement offer for a vehicle collision I and one of their clients was involved in back in April. I immediately emailed back and have heard nothing from them since. Multiple emails and phone calls have gone unanswered, as well as mentioning the company directly on social media- nothing. Even getting the offer letter in the first place was a battle.Because Sedgwick dragged their feet so long, the vehicle in question ended up getting towed. Because of this hassle, my requests are:1. An updated offer letter to reflect the additonal time I was without a vehicle.2. I have renters insurance on my storage unit thru sedgwick. My unit was flooded last month, as a result I filed a claim with sedgwick. They initially asked some questions and asked me to fill out some forms. Then there was an examiner assigned to my case her name is *********************, **** sent me a couple emails indicating she couldn't get in touch with me even tho she never even picked up the phone I never had a missed call from ****, I emailed over the documents requested by **** and have not heard from anyone at sedgwick since. I've called **** several times well within business hours and got no reply I've emailed her several times as well with no response. My name is ************************* of ****** and my email is is in my profile. In March of 2022, ****** issued a recall of their "Ionic" model Smartwatch. I have submitted for the recall. It was promised to me that I would get a refund within 3-6 weeks, but I still haven't received it. It has now been more than 17+ weeks and I still haven't received my refund. When I contact fitbit, they tell me to contact their outsourced recall center which is hosted by Sedgwick. I have called the recall department of Sedgwick over 17 times and my case has been "escalated" by them over a dozen times, yet the refund still has not arrived. The fitbit team keeps telling me to contact Sedgwick and Sedgwick keeps "escalating" the case but never doing anything about it.
