1 starThis business is shady. They could not give me a firm price or accurately estimate my roof size. They made verbal commitments they didn't uphold. They wanted money upfront but wouldnt tell me how much they were charging BBB rating doesnt mean anything. I found this business shiesty!!!Review fromAtwill G

So much to say but I don't want to lose my reader. I'll start by saying this, Southern Roofing and Renovations is a company I will never forget. The experience from start to finish was amazing. Jared C. and his team were phenomenal!!!! Jared was involved from the very beginning to the very end. Top tier communication and he cared very much about our build. There aren't enough words to express the loyalty and commitment Jared, and his team had with us through this entire process, including helping us with the insurance company who fought us every step of the way. I could not be more satisfied with the service I received. Honestly, at first, I was skeptical and hesitant but all of that went away with the help of Jared and his team. Also, thank you to Lala and Jeff who also helped with this process. If I ever need a new roof again or ever a repair, Southern Roofing and Renovations is who I will be calling. 1 starIt was terrible what they did to my bathroom. I was not successful in having it fixed because it was in worse shape after the remodeling job. The last employee to come look at it said it was in the top three worst bathroom remodeling jobs he had ever seen. The vanity sinks down in one corner, The door won't shut. The glued in shower tile was placed on regular sheet rock then the brown glue was painted with latex paint. The old damaged sheet rock was painted over. The tile floor has a large hump in it. The toilet tank rocks back and forth. There are numerous holes and gaps. The light fixture has a crooked bulb. They painted my tub without cleaning or following the instructions. They didn't plug the tub drain and it is stopped up with all the grout and rocks where the old tile was removed. I have cracked walls in my bedroom and hallway from the tile removal. At this point all I want is to be reimbursed for what I have spent. I would to rate them a zero.Review fromGeorge B

5 starsAfter losing parts of our roof during Hurricane ****** in October 2024, I was encouraged to use Southern Roofing and Renovations out of *******, ** for the replacement. Their salesman, ******* Murauko and his assistant, ******** *********, visited our home on December 31, 2024, at which time we signed a contingency agreement and later gave them a check for $6,055. They were eager to help and gave us confidence. But, as time went by, we had several unavoidable health issues to occur, as it sometimes does with elderly couples. With supplies delayed and the uncertainty of pending surgeries, on March 2025, we asked SR&R supervisor, **** ******, to please return our down-payment. After consulting with his Director of Sales, ***** ***** and the Office Manager, ******* *******, they kindly agreed to return our full down-payment, which supported out belief that this company is 100% geared toward customer satisfaction. 1 starApprox a month ago our house flooded. We had an air conditioning company come out to look at the ac and they recommended southern roofing and restoration to assist us in the restoration process of our house. So we called them. Two ***resentatives of the company came out to the house with their guns a blazing. Were gonna do this and this they said. We were told to just sit back and they would take care of us. So we did. We informed SR&R when the flood adjuster was coming out and also who was the ac contractor we were going to use. They had a *** come out the day the adjuster came out. That was not a good ideal. After that day we would contact them to see where we are at with starting the work. No responses. We then were told by the manager that they dont do flood restorations and that they were releasing us from the contract. What contract? We never signed a contract. Apparently the *** from SR&R decided to sign it for us. I can only wonder what else they have done to us or maybe to others. We contacted the ac company and was informed that SR&R told them that they started to work on the crawl space. There has been no work done at the house. This company not only has broken the law with an employee that commit forgery but also has lied about work and what they are going to do. We have been strung out for almost a month. This has not been a good experience with them. I would not recommend them to anyone for anything. There are to many other companies that act right and treat people fairly to have to deal with this treatment. We are contacting an attorney for advise on what to do about the forgery which their manager has admitted it being done.Review fromBarbara A

3 starsWe called them to schedule for a quote on our roof.. Not repairs. They showed up on Tuesday march 4 to do a estimate on our roof . Without our knowledge they did caulking around our chimney without our permission. I was told by the manager that there would be no charge now we have a invoice for service we did not ask for. Right now we are asking for estimate for repairs. We thought they were here to do estimates instead without our knowledge they did repairs. The manager said he would not charge us since there was a misunderstanding on there part. No we have received a bill for service we did not ask for. Nor did we request. I thought they were doing estimate not work. This company is not someone I would recommend.Review fromAdam W

1 starThey backdated and forged an employees signature on a contract after the employee was no longer with the company. Then told us we only had 5 days to cancel the contract or we would be penalized. Highly do not recommend. Im in the *************, ** area.Review fromJessica W

1 starDay one a salesman knocked on our door asking to climb on our roof to asses it for storm damage. He later needed my husband’s help to safely do so, and we honestly felt sorry for him so we listened to his sales pitch. He quickly went over what he called a “non-binding contract”, which we did initial under the impression that we were giving him permission to contact our insurance company. The next day the insurance company called and said the salesman was there and everything was a go. I said HOLD UP. We haven’t decided on anything, they haven’t quoted anything, and I asked for my adjuster to give us a second opinion. He came out and said we did have some damage and he’d send us a check to use with ANY company we chose to go with. We asked 3 different companies for quotes. Meanwhile, the boy who climbed on our roof quit SRR! Red flag. 2 weeks later, a different guy from SRR showed up at our house, showing us materials, and asked how much WE could afford to pay out of pocket, never mind our deductible. Red flag #2. He put some #s in his tablet, then proceeded to tell us about the ways their supplemental team files false claims to the insurance companies for more money for “extra tarps, labor hours, supervision”, etc. which would help us with the out of pocket expense. He left and said he would send someone for our check the following week. He made some poor comments about the salesman that quit on his way out the door. Unprofessional. 2 weeks later, we decided to go with a different company. We called to cancel, SSR team lead insinuated that we were trying to commit felony insurance fraud! Said we would be penalized if we canceled the contract and we should really read what we sign better. He also spoke poorly of the salesman that quit. The GM later called my husband and told him we’d be receiving a letter from their legal team. They spent half their day attempting to scare us into keeping our agreement with them but never gave us an actual quote! I do not recommend!
