  Ok, I left an unfair review previously, but would like to leave a better cumulative review. So the shed was built very, very well. This shed was sturdy, no problems at all there. Instructions weren't very clear about how and who to pay, but it all worked out in the end. The delivery driver seemed impatient but he delivered the shed. Some landscape fabric was ripped in the process. Its an easy fix, but what I was irritated about was that the driver tried to just cover up the ripped fabric with rocks like I wouldn't notice. I would have appreciated a quick text or phone call about it. I wouldn't expect you to replace it, but just as a common courtesy. I did the rent-to-own, but paid it in full right after delivery. I hoped to get a confirmation of payment right away, but instead I have to wait like 6 weeks. That seemed a bit odd to me. Overall, the shed is strong, sturdy, well built, and paid in full. I could see myself buying from this company again; I will understand it a bit better now.

  Don’t know how they even still do business Shady con company you can find guaranteed Give them cash to buy a shed and they conveniently lost the check and threatened to sue Even if you have the proof

Did you file a warranty claim for any repairs that needed to be made? Unfortunately, we have no record of a warranty claim with your name. Customer satisfaction is very important to us, so we like to makes sure our customers are satisfied with their building. We’d also be curious who you spoke with that may have been rude so that we have an opportunity to address it. Was it a dealer…or somebody at our corporate office? Or at the rental company that you lease the building from? They’re a different company…but we’d still pass along your comments if you can let us know.   So, this will be a bit winded. I spent 2 weekends in the hot and cold assembling my pad to put the building on. I want you to keep in mind my father is 76 years old and I am 44 and have Spondylolisthesis. Every day after I worked on the pad I couldn't walk the next day. Then came the delivery part finally. While they were patient for me to finish my pad, they certainly didn't mind tearing my pad up. They tore up 4 boards and bent my rebar. Today I finally tore apart my pad and inspected the building. I was so mad over the pad I didn't care to look at the building. I found a bunch of workmanship issues that apparently my wife didn't notice when the building was on the lot. The issues are gaps or spaces were stuff meets, knots that completely left a whole in the wood and screws that were ran in at an angle that it busted the door frame to the point where it can't be repaired. After reading some of these reviews I told my wife to do a chargeback on the building and filed a warranty claim telling them to come pick the building back up for a refund or a replacement that is in better shape. I work too hard to spend that kind of money for a poor-quality build or someone to tear up my property putting it in. Worst of all the building is sitting at an angle as well. I guess we will see what happens but for now a chargeback is occurring until the building is replaced or refunded and my labor and materials are reimbursed.

  Dear *** *********, We looked into this issue and spoke to the driver, who informed us that he offered to fix the issues with the pad while he was there, but you declined. For the other issues, a warranty repair order has been submitted and you may have already heard from the local repair person to schedule a visit. The issues noted are easily addressed and our understanding is they'll be bringing some fresh touch up paint. We supply a small can of touch up paint with every new building..but if your building sat over a cold winter...the paint can sometimes freeze and go bad.   I'd give 0 stars if possible. Our experience has been a disaster from the start. We purchased an 8x12 shed from Dave, a dealer in southern Maine, who promised delivery within 10 days of signing the papers on March 17th. We paid two months upfront for a basic, stock model. Which according to them is a "CUSTOM ORDER" which it is NOT* Instead of a smooth process, we dealt with a hassle between Dave and the delivery driver, Dan. We had to contact Old Hickory Corporate to report the issues. Today (April 4th), the shed was delivered around 9:30. We clearly marked the ground where we wanted it placed, but the driver went UP the YARD instead of the DRIVEWAY, he almost got stuck, & claimed he couldn't move it to the desired location. He eventually dropped the shed next to our dumpster, stating he'd move it later, and IF we had ANY issues to call him right back & he'd come back to fix it. We tried to call him back 10 minutes after he left & were told "He is out of the area". We're now waiting for corporate to contact us to resolve this mess, which involves both delivery and dealer issues. Extremely disappointed and frustrated with the entire experience. NEVER AGAIN! DON'T get sucked into their scheme like we did!

  Got our 12 x 28 garage delivered yesterday. We had great experience from sales to delivery. We were updated and they called before delivery and every thing was smooth. The shed is beautiful and can’t wait to fill it up. The driver was so good and he took great care and he leveled the shed so the doors open easy and we even found some touch nut pain inside the shed which was a nice touch. Thank you Old Hickory for making this transaction very pleasant.

  I purchased 10 x 12 in May 2024 and I have to wonder why I waited,great build quality,pest control is amazing and so far it can take a beating from a very cold Canadian winter.Delivery was professional and right on time and yes if I needed another there's no question Old Hickory is the only choic

  We recently purchased an 8x12 shed in New Mexico and the whole purchasing process was quick and easy. They also delivered my shed the same day. The shed looks amazing. The driver was very professional and placed the shed exactly where I wanted it. The whole installation took less than 20 minutes. I highly recommend this company.

  Just Purchased a shed from Old Hickory Buildings from a dealer in Waterville, Maine. I was very happy with Zach and the transaction went through very smoothly and he was great to work with. When it came time to have the shed delivered, his brother Nick was a real pro at setting up the shed and placed it perfectly where I wanted it. I was extremely impressed at how he used the Mule to unload the shed and then pull it down the driveway, very professional and would use him again. I did look at other dealer sheds in the area and thought Old Hickory Sheds were very well built and they used good materials. I hope I have better luck with my new shed than other reviews here, as so far so good for me. I will leave another review after I have it for some time as mine is only a few days old.
