  I ordered a shed and a garage in June of 2022 from * * * *********. Within a short time the garage floor started breaking up. About half of the floor is not safe to walk on. I filed a compliant with ***. The repair was approved after I gave a $209 deductible fee. Its been almost 2months and I still don't have a repair date. I'm an 80 year old lady and I bought the garage to park my car in. If I fall through that I would in all probability break my leg.

  DO NOT buy anything from these people. I ordered and paid for an $18K shed. After nearly 3 months of waiting, they told me they thought the shed HAD ALREADY BEEN DELIVERED!!??. And that I needed to contact the driver and they gave me his number. I called the driver who promptly told me the shed wasn't even finished yet... BUT, not only that he couldn't deliver it to my site. When I attempted to cancel they said they were going to keep 20% of my deposit. or nearly $4000 I've contacted the police to file a criminal complaint. I believe they are involved in a criminal conspiracy.... in Arizona, where bought the shed, a "Fraudulent Scheme" and a class 2 felony in my State. This is based on the disclosures of the company driver that stated to me that they only care about the money, and make promises that they can't keep. So the apparent plan is to get the money even when they know they can't possibly deliver it to your lot. But I still have to pay them $4000.

  I am so disappointed in my shed/play house, not only did the driver charge me a exter $150.00 to turn it around, which he sit down on my street picked back up from the other side, taking not even five minutes, I asked but never received a receipt, Also several of the two by fours looked so decayed I would not have used them to build a dog house, I'm sorry but for the price (which is way high) I believe top grade wood should have been used.

  Dear *** ********, After checking with our Warranty Repairs department, it appears that a repair-person has been attempting to schedule repairs to your shed but there's been some scheduling issues based on your availability. Our understanding is that you've told them you will be available after today...so hopefully this will get scheduled and resolved soon. We also checked with the driver regarding the additional $150 charge. Our understanding is that the shed was delivered, set and leveled in the first location based on your direction...but then you changed your mind regarding the location where you wanted it and you asked the driver to move it, which required him to pull the shed out to the road, switch the direction, set it in the new location and level it again...a process that definitely takes longer than 5 minutes. The free delivery accounts for a single building placement and leveling. Because our drivers are independent contractors and count on keeping a full schedule of deliveries to make their living, they deserve to be compensated by the customer for any additional work performed beyond the standard delivery and set-up that Old Hickory pays them for.   Purchased 17K shed from the location outside Elma Washington. The door frame was ruined upon delivery so that the door does not shut unless you throw yourself against it or yank it as hard as you can from the outside. When I submitted their warranty form I got no response. I then provided a **** review and got an immediate response and someone out to fix it. Unfortunately based on the continued poor performance of the door nothing was done. When Lewis county went out to inspect the shed the individual thought they had closed the front door unaware of the issue and when I went down the next weekend just to check it out the door was open because it was never shut because the door doesn't shut properly. Do not make final payment or take ownership of your shed until you are 100% happy with it. Better yet don't purchase from hickory sheds. Furthermore, they did not level the shed using the skids rather just leveled it under the frame of the shed itself. Very disappointed.

  Would have given 5 stars but a little issue with craftsmanship & materials. I used to work at a lumberyard so I may be a little OCD when it comes to this. Found a couple 2x4's that shouldn't have been used. One in the loft area & one for a floor joist. They were twisted & cracked. I would highly recommend 3 - 4x6 stringers on a shed 10' or wider (I was given the option, hind sight is 20/20, I added a 3rd support down the middle) especially with 2x4 for joists & for the loft 10' is a awfully long span for a 2x4, maybe those should be doubled up. I think the flooring should be screwed down not nailed. Catching some nail heads here & there. My only complaints / suggestings. The Salesman in Stewartville, MN was very nice & was spot on with what to expect. Communication was great with the builder. Got the shed earlier than expected. Delivery guy is second to none, very nice. Shed looks great.

  We purchased a building garage a year or so ago had all our important stuff In it well they came back to get it and our stuff had disappeared the new lawnmower my deceased dad got me etc . They price gauze and are not worth dealing with then I know someone else who went and paid cash and paid it off in full but it's not been delivered they seem to be scamming ppl

  I ordered a shed to be built and EVERYTHING WAS WRONG including being 4 feet to small. They DID NOT EVEN TRY to remedy it and I had to pay another $602.62 to have them haul it off. TERRIBLE EXPERIENCE--BUT the best was seeing it being hauled away!!!

  The building that was delivered to you was EXACTLY what you signed the sales agreement to purchase. We have the agreement with your signature and can share it with you by email if you'd like (although it was already provided by email after the order was entered).
  
  All of our dealers use our proprietary online ordering system that uses a 3D rendering tool. Design selections (including size) are made based on what product options are available in your area. Once the design is complete and reviewed by the customer, the sales (or rental) agreement is executed with a signature and payment is taken.
  
  The building you received matches the signed agreement. We're sorry that you may have decided on a different size later on, but once a building is complete and delivered...there are cancellation and restocking fees that need to be collected. Those are also spelled out in the sales agreement.

  I did a lot of research and decided to use Old Hickory Buildings. I was able to plan my own layout and sales Mike was very knowledgeable and pleasant. He guided me through the final stages of ordering (Feb 2022) and was seamless. My work started afterward getting my own pad ready, of course once the snow left. I used about 18" river rock and then gravel on top. I was provided a delivery date by end of June 2022. Typical for todays world, Old Hickory had supply issue with the door brush, I was immediately reached by Mike who gave me an option of delivery a week before expected time or wait for the part. I chose to wait. Garage arrived yesterday and delivered by Dave. Wow amazing driver and very aware of surroundings when manoeuvring the truck/trailer and load. Great experience from start to finish, garage is how I ordered, very solid and would buy from Old Hickory again!!

  We got a shed in Lewis county Washington a 10x20 4 windows 5500.00dollars pre Covid went through Covid late two months we are now told we are 700+ in fees we have a payoff of 1640 and of that is 700 in fees but I requested a fee breakdown and was told they don't have that breakdown. So I have to email customer service to request it again just paid 15 dollar fee to pay via the phone payment plus a extra 100.00 so our 249..is now 365. So we will file a complaint with The BBB and the Washington state attorney general ( Bob F*******) to see if the fees were allowed during covid as they state they can't give a breakdown on our fees they don't have that service.. 700 dollars in fees for being behind two months and in constant communication. Shed is great. The lady on the phone was short but polite. We just feel that the fees should be able to be seen and understood.. they did say they waived two fees but never got the amount. Also have never received a payment invoice or.reciept during the whole payment process that would help in understanding fees.

  This company is completely unprofessional and inefficient. We ordered a shed in January with the promise of it being delivered in 2-3 weeks. When ordering it all we were provided to use as a comparison to mirror our house as we live in an HOA was pictures on the website that the seller had. He was not equipped with physical samples. The shed arrived nearly 8 weeks later March 23 to be exact. When the driver arrived we noticed the shed did not match our home at all both the roof and siding was off. The driver ensured us we should be able to call the company and the would easily come out to repair or make adjustments where necessary. For this reason we decided to take ownership of the shed with the expectation that it would be rectified and we could move on with our lives.
  We began to reach out to several departments continually repeating our situation and sending pictures of what the shed colors should be. Each time we spoke to a different representative who gave us assurance that they would get back to us with a resolution At some point we were led in the direction of having to speak to a Mr. Norman S******* as he would be the only one to get the situation resolved. It took some days for him to get back to us.
  He stated he would look into the matter and get back to us no later than the following Tuesday. When that didn't happen, we took it upon ourselves to call him back; Strike two!!! We finally get a hold of him and he says that he's going to have to get in contact with the seller and promises to call us back. When he finally does his only response to the matter is unfortunately there's no resolve as the seller is not willing to pay for the necessary repairs and he himself can't foot the bill him, so unfortunately there's nothing that can be done about this. Pretty much sucks to be you the shed is yours and all the headache your HOA is going to give you. Keep in mind this is around ending of may beginning of June.

  We're sorry to hear that you're not satisfied with the shed you purchased, but we're unclear why you believe Old Hickory Buildings is responsible for the shed color not matching your house color. We don't know what your house looks like and it sounds like you chose the color for the shed based on our color chart? If that color chart was from our printed price guide or our brochure...there is a disclaimer immediately below the chart that says "Actual colors may vary from those displayed in the brochure. See dealer for actual color swatch. OHB is not responsible for colors not matching the brochure."
  
  Our dealers are typically equipped with another color chart where the individual color chips are printed separately and are more accurate. That said...even if you had used that chart to attempt matching your house color...matching colors is a very difficult process and the color you chose for your shed was ultimately a choice that YOU made...not us. As a result and in accordance with the disclaimer noted above and with our warranty policy...this issue does not qualify as a warranty claim and is not the responsibility of Old Hickory Buildings to resolve.
