The first telephone contact with a company representative was quite promising. However, I was alarmed by the fact that they collected a lot of personal and medical information from me, ranging from my address to the medications I take, blood sugar levels, and insurance details. I believe this data should only be requested after obtaining my written consent.
Later, I reviewed complaints from people using this service and asked questions to make a decision. Here's what I found out:
Billing for services begins from the moment you speak with a nurse; the company doesn't offer any grace period. They can't tell you the copayment amount in advance, and you may receive a bill for any amount for a service that won't be provided for at least several weeks, while you wait for the measuring device, test strips, and a callback from the nurse.
There's no explanation of how the baseline situation will be determined to appreciate positive dynamics. The number of test strips provided is calculated for one measurement per day, and you need to specially order a larger quantity, which is very problematic due to poor telephone customer service. How can you understand the effects of food and daily routine (the only things they'll advise you on to lower your blood sugar) with such infrequent measurements?
A huge number of clients note that nurses don't call for weeks, and customer service is rude and inattentive. The representative responded that clients themselves block phone numbers or don't answer calls(?).
After this, I called my insurance company, informed them about the conversation, and warned them that I hadn't given permission for these services.
Think for yourself: do I need someone with questionable testing methods and irregular calls every few weeks with dietary recommendations?

I’ve been with Copilot for almost three years, although I’ve had several nurses their professionalism is unmatched. My nurse is Kendra from Florida she is the best. I can ask her any questions about my blood pressure or sugar and she is so caring and sweet. She never hesitates to ask how things are going with my personal life, not noisy just concerned.I would definitely and have introduced people to CopiletIQ.This is such a great company and is covered by Medicare.

Since January they have only succeeded with 4 visits. The rest were scheduled, but No Nurse showed up. Other times they would text their thoughts. Their biggest reason they missed the first 4 , we ,Copilot , were using wrong time zone. HOW they always had my zip code.
2 different managers have FAILED,to improve the situation. Even to the point of totally ignoring the notes in my files they have built.
I have filled greveince, ****** agreed NOT to pay them.
It IS a free service to me, but. The anxiety , frustration , waste of my day 9 out of 13 missed appoints THEY missed. ****** letter reflects this. My Blood Pressure goes thru the roof EVERY time I patiently wait.
I have requested the next level up supervisor.
I wont hold my breath .

The idea of a coach sounds so good, but this company is too far behind in technology. I have had a Continuous Glucose Monitor CGM, for over a year. This fantastic little button checks my blood sugar multiple times each minute and all of that data is instantly available on line to me or my doctor. CopilotIQ is only interested in one or two finger sticks each day. They are not even interested in my low sugar problems, but think two readings a day will solve my wild sugar swings that I can see on my cell phone and get alarms instantly from. Than let's talk about blood pressure. I got a BP cuff that reports via some obscure cell carrier that does not work where I live. When I tried to find out what cell carrier was used CopilotIQ told me they use all of the towers. THAT IS JUST NOT TRUE. I need a BP cuff that works with *******  or my WIFI. So that is strike two. My nurse called yesterday, I mentioned that I was in Michigan and she said she could not talk with me until I returned to Tennessee. I guess my health does not need help if I am away from my home. On a positive note my BP cuff DOES WORK IN MICHIGAN, too bad **** does not. I have had 3 or 4 calls from the nurse,
each time the fact that my BP cuff is not working was like the first time i mentioned that issue. So I just do not have anything good to say about CopilotIQ. The two things that they do, do not work. And even when one works, they do not work. BTW my cell phone does work in Michigan.

This is a scam , I keep getting billed for services that were not rendered. When I complain they just ignore the fact that I have said that I have not spoken to the NP EVER. The latest bill was for
"Remote monitoring of physiologic parameters, initial supply of device" Total ** as I stopped using it a month before so hat as monitored ???? In the last months they have charged over $300. for nothing , yes ****** has paid but but I still am being charged a copay for nothing

1/31/24 Gosh it may be too early to tell, but I would like my issue addressed.
Day 1-I was connected to someone who was very pleasant. She asked me a couple of questions, I asked her a couple of questions. I liked her attitude/thought approach for handling my diabetic needs and had a good feeling. Unfortunately(I am cutting to chase) My blood pressure readings were extremely high. 170/110, 166/86 171/98 etc.(high for me) I took my meter to my primary who took my pressure with his meter. While high 146/85 it was nowhere near the readings I was getting with mine. He corrected me the way I was holding it, and made a difference( I didn't remember reading but it was close to doctors meter. My issue is I thought if readings were reaching Copilot, we would receive a call. Am I wrong? I got these readings high readings for 3 DAYS. How fast does the readings reach Copilot and how often are they read? Sadly, I tried to reach someone. First the connection is horrible It makes this gurgled sound and I could hear a man discussing something. I held on and got the recording to leave a message, this was about 1:30 p.m. Finally automation came on and I was told to leave a message. Now it wasn't an emergency, I just wanted to check to see if the readings were actually read, and to let nurse know there may be a problem with machine so she would know it running that high for 3 days.. I also had a minor problem with glucose but got resolved (my fault) I will continue to take pressure twice a day morning/night hopefully I was just using it wrong. I do understand that there is a time difference( I am in Pennsylvania/ Tennesse being behind one hour or so). Right now I am feeling apprehensive. I did read nurse calls weekly, so today is only my 5th day, but I thought with such high readings given my conditions a cautionary call may have been done. As stated it's early on, I . hoping this isn't the norm, patient/nurs communication mode needs much improvement.

I've had a good experience with CoPilot. My nurse has had an experience with trying to reach me but it is better now. I found out that I had blocked that number but didn't know I had. When told I corrected it and it has been good. The nurse called me every other week which work out with me unless I have a problem can call them to let them know what it is.

I've had a very positive experience with CoPilot IQ. My nurse calls on schedule. She's given helpful information on diet and exercise. She's been encouraging when I don't like my BP or glucose numbers. I've gotten my supplies when needed. I realize she's on a time schedule but she lets me vent when I need to. I'm blessed to have CoPilot in my corner. Thanks Taylor! ******
