      Parked in findlay market lot in Cincinnati OH. Parking violation citation issued for $80 by SP. The lot costs $2/hr. A Cincinnati city parking ticket is $40. This fine is not consistent with SP's stated parking ticket citation policy to charge "in line with municipal city fines." This is price gouging by 100%.

      This citation was provided on the evening of 06/24 where this lot was on an event rate due to special events happening in the area. Since the special event rate was not paid, it was included within the $80 citation. We have and continue to be in line with municipal city fines. Since this BBB claim has been filed, the customer has paid the citation.

      This was my first year attending pride and the first time I had heard about SP Parking. On 06/18/22 I inserted the address to the lot I had payed for which was provided by the company. I got to the lot, left a printed out version of my confirmation on the dash, and left for not more than two hours. When I come back I find a citation on my window (violation #***************). I chased the woman who gave me the citation and explained to her that I had paid online and even left a confirmation on the dash. She said there was nothing she could do and that I simply needed to dispute the charges. I IMMEDIATELY disputed the charges and later got an email saying my dispute had been received and was actively being looked at. It has been almost a month and I have yet to hear back from anyone. I don't want their lack of communication to penalize me in an way considering the fact that there is a certain amount of days the citation needs to be paid by. Using this form of parking just ended up making everything so much more complicated.

      ****** did NOT pay for the space she parked in. She paid for a parking space for a park place lot (another parking company) and parked on our lot. Her appeal was already answered and the fee was reduced to $30. The citation is valid and she will need to pay or the fee will be turned over to collections.
