    I am a veteran and First Responder and have been using American Patriot Getaways (APG) since 2016. July 25 through Aug 1, 2022, we booked a week getaway at Saw Mill Springs, a "Luxury Plus" cabin with an indoor pool. Total cost was $4,000 for cabin alone. What an ABSOLUTE DISSAPOINTMENT. I generally get one week off every two years for my family. Upon arrival at the "CABIN" the grass was a foot high, there was garbage everywhere, the grill was a charcoal grill that was rusty and nearly unusable and immediately knew we had been taken. Inside the cabin the carpets/stairs were filthy, the arcade machine did not work and the pool basement looked like an amazon jungle. There was black mold everywhere and water was actually dripping down the walls, doorways and windows. I have many photographs. The waterfall in the pool didn't work and the dehumidifier in the basement was broken. I called the service desk and it was so bad that they moved us to another old, run down cabin called "Misty Mountain Sunrise". I will say that a representative named Dana was helpful and said he would return $600 for the drop down in cabin quality. At the end of this ordeal we received $553 total for this disaster of a vacation. We stayed at this cabin for 3 nights while they fixed the dehumidifier and wiped off the black mold at Saw Mill Springs. At Misty Mountain Sunrise I was lucky enough to clean a propane grill that had never been cleaned and my wife had the wonderful experience of cleaning the entire cabin. The beds were nicely made and the oven was very clean. I almost couldn't believe it. Luckily we found the vacuum and went to work. On the Thursday when we were supposed to move back into Saw Mill Springs, I called and the service desk finally gave us the Ok to return to Saw Mill Springs that afternoon. The cleaning crew, who does not speak English, I speak Spanish, came to Misty Mountain Sunrise and asked us what we were doing there. Obviously another issue that had not been pushed forw

    Do NOT rent. The reviews aren't accurate. They make you email them your review. You don't post them yourself. They toss them bad ones and post the good ones. So you are renting a mystery. I left several emails to reach out. I tried phone calls. I recorded everything. I wanted to know why only positive reviews are left for cabins. They dance around it. They never give an answer. We rented a cabin in a CESSPOOL area. The cabin was lovely! But you literally drove through the deliverance to get to it. I'm not talking a block of nastiness. I am talking about MILES!! 10+ minutes of the worst junkyard level disgustingness you have EVER seen. And it was SOOOO far out we SWORE we had to be lost. Had a few other issues that I knew it was IMpossible that no other renter had left a review giving others a heads up. So I asked. Was ignored. So I left my own. It wasn't posted. So I sent more emails asking why it wasn't being posted. S now been MONTHS and I never heard back. Do NOOOOOOOOT use this company. We hoped for a new regular. And maybe most of their cabins are amazing! Prices aren't bad! But if a company can't be transparent with the reviews, you have NO idea what you will get. And that's a problem. Do NOT rent from them! The reviews are all good because they do NOT post the bad reviews.
