This cabin was amazing! It was extremely clean. Had everything to keep a family entertained! Pool, hot tub, game room and movie theater. We will definitely be back. Thank you!

Absolutely love this house!!! Would LOVE to come back to this one. Only 15-20 mins from Pigeon Forge activities. More kitchen items would def be helpful as only glassware was in kitchen and with kids you really want plastic.

Awful experience! Save yourself money and headaches!
Upon arriving at Yogi’s Lair on Sunday afternoon (12/22/24) at approximately 4 PM, the temperature inside the cabin was 53° with the unit heating unit set on 65. My wife immediately bumped the temperature setting up to 70, to no avail I might add. With the fan of the unit set on ‘auto’ the unit never kicked on! Only when the fan was turned to “on’ did the unit come on, WITH NO HEAT..
Not only did the heating unit not work, NEITHER DID THE FIREPLACE. And the coffee pot has a ‘short in the electrical component’ of it, or either the receptacle beside the coffee pot has a short in it. The main catalyst is, We had no heat!
The only source of heat we could find was an electric heater in the downstairs bedroom, and the oven. Using both, the temperature never got above 59° in the cabin. The following are things you should know.
#1. We were told by the young lady that showed up Sunday evening (Dec.22, 2024) that we would receive a phone call from them as soon as business operations began on Monday morning. BY THE WAY, WE NEVER GOT THAT PHONE CALL!
#2. We stayed in a cabin 1 night where the temperature was 53° when we awoke Monday morning (Dec.23,2024) and the outside temperature was 25°.
#3. On Sunday evening (12/22/24), when the HVAC repairman was there, he told us he was unable to repair it at that time. Not only was he unable to repair the heat, he was also unable to get the fireplace started. This would have supplied a modicum of heat. Definition of modicum, “a small quantity of a particular thing which is considered desirable or valuable”. Do you not think heat, in the Smoky Mountains in the month of December would be a desirable thing? Plus, they wanted us to move at 9:30 at night.
Save yourself time and money and do not rent from these people. They have no interest in helping solve a problem, and they certainly don’t have interest in returning your money.
    Have a great day,
    Rick and Reba *******

The cabin was very clean, location was perfect, close enough to the events & entertainment, far enough to enjoy the mountain landscape and peace..

We brought the University of Alabama Men’s Ice Hockey team here while we played the University of Tennessee in Knoxville. Having 6 separate cabins provided a great amount of space for our group and the downstairs communal areas were great for watching football and team bonding. Having 6 full kitchens made it easy to cook for a group this large and the parking was perfect for our university vans. The entire cabin was clean and we didn’t have a single issue during our stay. We will be recommending this cabin to other teams here at UA, and may even return if we find ourselves playing up in Knoxville again!

Absolutely horrendous experience. The refused to issue a refund due to hurricane Helene and insisted on "upgrading" us from a cabin with a view and firepit and movie room (Mountain Jewel in Gatlinburg), to a dirty and totally inadequate house (Bear Skin in Savierville) without electricity on the lower level, absolutely disgusting floors, a defective dishwasher foul smelling carpets. We were notified of the impending change 2 days before check-in and the manager Jenny was absolutely ignorant and insisted on the contract which they force guests to sign outside the booking platform. They robbed us of $1,500 and made zero attempts to fix the issues we reported upon check in. We tried 3 times, left messages and spoke with their representative who pretended to collect information; no callback, no attempt to send somebody over to fix the power issue or exposed outlet wires or dishwasher. It is truly puzzling that the state of TN allows this business to operate.

Our reservations at Bear Camp Cabin Rentals ended up being during the Tropical Storm Helene. I called the business and asked about getting a cancellation for my reservation which they said did not fall under the protocol for the "Deposit Protection" paid in the fees that I had paid in my reservation. The person I spoke to said that the Manager was the only one who could grant a cancellation and that that person would give my request to the manager. I never heard back from the manager. We were assured that there would be no flooding that would prevent us from getting to the cabin or from getting to shopping etc. Once we arrived at the road that led to the cabins we were driving on very narrow gravel roads that twisted back and forth with no guard rails in several places. As we got closer to the cabin the drive became a blacktopped 8 foot wide drive with no shoulders. One side dropped off down the mountain and the other was a muddy drain for the rain runoff so there was no room for error. We were in a pick up truck and sat up higher than cars. This made for a terrifying experience every time we drove in or out. If you put the truck in 4 wheel drive then turning into and out of the drive became more difficult because it limits turns. Once in the drive I went into the cabin to use the restroom. The whole cabin emanated with a garbage like/ something dead smell. I called the office to complain of these things and asked for a cancellation or to be placed elsewhere. I was put on a 20 min. hold and then informed that they were not able to give a cancellation. They said that only the owner could do that. I called the owner's representative and she said that the owner would not approve a cancellation for these reasons. I am upset with their decisions because I had paid $744,27 for a 3 night stay. They made no attempt to understand my concerns or to make reparations for these issues. They claimed to have no where else to send us either. Be warned consumers.
