I am an entrepreneur trying to build an online business. Last summer, I had a horrible experience renting an office from REGUS MANAGEMENT GROUP. I only used SPACES / REGUS offices 4-Days in **************************** internet access was not secure - unacceptable / see photo 6/20/2024 6/25/2024 6/26/2024 My experience with renting an office from REGUS MANAGEMENT GROUP:1. Spaces office internet access was not secure - unacceptable / see photo 2. Spaces office with a dead plant and dirty windows.3. On the initial tour, I was told window offices were available, but when I requested an office with a window, I was told, "It's reserved for showing potential clients"4. Then I put in a back office next to 2 chatty women working for a title company - no privacy.Numerous charges on my account have been charged but are unaccounted for. Over-charged the 1st month renewal.Difficulty reaching someone at the company to address billing issues. Rented an office for 4 days, having difficulty canceling and getting out of the contract. Unsecured internet connection. [photo proof]Unfriendly support staff at the two locations I rented.Customer Answer

To clarify... I used the rental office 4 days in June only.
#1 complaint is not having a secured internet, [deal breaker] I mentioned numerous times during the inital visits to both locations
#2 complaint is that I did not authorize payment on credit card for the charges made after 7/24/2024.
I contacted Covid over the July 4th Holiday weekend, along with seveal family members, so we were confined to home for 2-1/2 weeks. On 7/24/2024 I sent email closing my account, and I removed my credit card from the online account. I was not comfortable with unsecured internet and my ******************** hostspot] was not picking up a signal in both locations.
I am now being threatened with it being sent debt collector from this email address: Newdebt NAM <********************************************************>

On Thursday, April 3, 2025, I reached out to Regus in search of office space for my nonprofit organization. I met with a representative who showed me an office, and I informed him that I would need a Certificate of Occupancy in order to obtain a state license. He indicated that he did not believe the building owners would provide this document. However, after speaking with the state, I was advised that I could request it through the city.I followed up with the city to obtain the Certificate of Occupancy, but was ultimately unsuccessful. I then contacted ****, the agent I had been working with, to update him on this development. His only response was that Regus would not issue a refund. On Monday, April 7, 2025the start date of the agreementI arrived at the office location but was not provided with any keys. Despite multiple attempts to reach out, I did not receive the keys until Friday, April 11, 2025. At that point, I informed Regus of my intent to terminate the agreement due to several concerns:The agreement was signed under pressure, with **** warning me that prices would increase if I didnt sign by the previous Friday.I did not receive access to the space on the start date, which constitutes a breach of contract. The office I received access to was not the same one that was initially shown to me.Since then, I have attempted to follow up with ****, but my messages have been ignored, and I have been unable to reach anyone else at Regus to address this issue. I have since contacted my bank, and a dispute has been filed regarding this charge.Initial Complaint

Spaces rents office spaces within the ******************. They did not mention it but they also have tenants living in the offices which its not zoned for and also creates safety concerns. ******* using the offices as their primary residence smoke inside the building. Bathrooms are damaged and go unrepaired. Staff does not listen to concerns and instead tries to paint themselves as the victim. They refuse to engage in conversations around lease-termination, likely because theyre violating zoning and wish to ignore it. Ive tried to terminate my lease due to these circumstances and they pretend its a non-issue. Many previous tenants using the offices as offices have left the building due to these circumstances. Im more than happy to collect testimonials from other businesses in the building and pursue further action, but would prefer to terminate my lease amicably. Im not sure Spaces feels the same way.Initial Complaint

We recently initiated a move from a private location at the downtown *********** SAPCES location to the ******** SPACES location. We chose an office with a monthly rental cost of $843 for a six month contract to begin on April 1, 2025 and we signed a contract. When we attempted to access our new office space on April 1, 2025, we were told they had made an internal error and the office they had offered usand for which we had signed was not available and instead offered us an office with a higher monthly cost of $1181. Further, we asked them to prorate our April rent since as of today, April 9, we have not been given access to the office for which we signed a contract. We have been a client of SPACES for over a year and they have shown a track record of not honoring their agreements. For example, our prior agreement included office cleaning which we never received even when submitting specific work tickets for even simple sweeping of the office space. We decided to move because we thought this was a site-specific issue. However, even in the moving process, they refused to honor information they had given us, costing us an unanticipated additional month of rent.We would like SPACES to honor their contract with us and rent us an available office for 6 months at $843 for either a full six months from the date of the start of the contract or from April 1, 2025 to September 30, 2025 with the cost of April prorated to the date they give us access to the office.Initial Complaint

The company has my credit card on file and has charged me:My rent is only ******; yet they charged me for rent 3 times in feb and an additional ******. I asked for a non renewal of contract after this contract is over the end of June due to the numerous emails started in January 25 asking for clarification of my bill which was always overcharged. I sent an email on 3/10/25 letting the team know that I am not renewing my contract. Despite this, they told me that they will not discontinue my rent. I had to contact my credit card company to open up a dispute because they will not honor an investigation into my charges and they will not honor my request to not renew my contract which ends in June; despite me telling them that I will not continue with the company. 02/26/25 02/26/25 REGUS *************** $ ****** Services 02/26/25 02/26/25 REGUS *************** $ ****** Services 02/26/25 02/26/25 REGUS *************** $ ****** Services 02/26/25 02/26/25 REGUS *************** $ ****** Services The odd thing is that I rent another Regus Virtual Mailbox in **********. I contacted the location and the main office on 3/10, 3/19, 3/24, and 4/1/25 via phone and email. The company continues to charge my credit card for a monthly membership and late payments, but has never returned a call to discuss this matter with me. The numbers listed for the main Regus head quarters will not allow you to speak to anyone unless you are selling membership. I entered 2 help desk tickets via the app and I have not received a reply. My membership was canceled on 2/20 and still I've been charged $165 after paying that amount, two days later they billed me $60. I would like to be refunded for membership fees after 2/20/25, all of the late fees they've added, and the mail handling charges (which I never requested). The organization should be investigated for consumer fraud.Initial Complaint

BBB *************************************************** Center vs Regus I am the owner of ****************************** Center, and I am filing this complaint against Regus, specifically ***************************************** located at ************************************************************* original office agreement which started on May 10, 2023 through May ******* is set to end on May 31, 2025. On March 18, 2025, I submitted formal cancellation through Reguss online account system, clearly indicating I did not wish to renew. Despite this, Regus is now claiming the agreement has auto-renewed for another two-year term, arguing that my notice was a few days short of the three-month ************** addition to enforcing this extended term against my expressed wishes, Regus also increased the pricing from $69/month to $72/month, stating that the original 16% discount I received only applied to the initial term. This pricing change was not disclosed in advance or agreed upon, and was presented as part of a renewal I attempted to cancel.I find this to be an unfair and unreasonable enforcement of a technicality, especially since I acted in good faith and gave clear advance notice. Their refusal to terminate the agreement and their attempt to enforce a 2-year renewal at a higher rate is unacceptable and predatory.I am asking the BBB to help ensure that my account is closed as of May 31, 2025, and that I am not charged or held liable for any future term or fee increases I clearly and reasonably opted out of.Regus Location Contact:****** ******, Community Manager Regus *************************************************************************************************************** ************** *************************************************
