      Rita was very quick and efficient with my request to cancel my coverage. It wasn't the rigth plan for my needs but the customer service I received made the cancellation smooth.

      Mariel was vey helpful and informative regarding a health insurance plan that would work for me. She was very nice and professional and did a great job at walking me through the process from start to finish. This was a great experience for me!

      We purchased an insurance policy through Strata Health (Adroit) to bridge for 1-month and had nothing but trouble. My daughter had one wellness visit for school and we are having trouble getting payment, but we paid $940 to cover us for the month. I hope we are never in the position again to need private insurance.

      .Strata I was wanting Health Insurance. I was contacted by Dominic. Told about Blue Cross Blue Shield of Texas. It sounded great. He was talking about how it covered what I needed. Not realizing he was adding other types of coverage. He told me I needed to e sign some forms. I did e sign not realizing the insurance was AD&D and other things not needed.I was told my payment would be $84.95 a month. This was high considering I'm on disability. I thought it would be alright because my doctors were in the plan.
      Well I thought the payment was for health insurance that I needed. I called Blue Cross about a payment I made. I was told I don't have to make any payments to them .
      I received a message this morning about a missed payment. I called and told them I made a payment. I then asked about my account. I was told it is not my Health Insurance.
      I was deceived by this person. They will refund me for 1 month. So I am out 6 months of money. I was told I needed to cancel within 30 days. I didn't think about canceling it was supposed to be my Health Insurance.
      So I am out $509.70.

      The Corbel Essential Plan is sponsored by Strata Health Group and was a 6 month short term medical plan that paid back less than 10% of what I paid out in premiums. I had it for two separate six month terms one year apart, 1st half of 2021 and 1st half of 2022. This plan did not cover a COVID booster shot. In addition to the monthly medical premium, I was told I also had to add A1 Perks for $59.95 per month. So although my monthly premium cost was $362.41, the actual amount I was reimbursed by my Health Retirement Account was the actual Corbel Essential product cost of $288.41. Now here is where I got lost in the details. After my six month 2021 plan expired, they continued to charge me a $20 admin fee plus the $59.95 A1 Perks plan (stuff I did not want or need) for a nifty $79.95 per month that I thought was going to a legitimate thing because it just stated Health 800# TX on my Mastercard. And I did have a different short term plan 2nd half 2021. But, my bad for not being a more discerning customer. So in July 2022 my Corbel Essential plan expired and this time I called to cancel the unwanted stuff and recoup the $79.95 monthly cost. Here was the cancellation process in a nutshell. I called outside their business hours and was told my request could be put in writing with an e-mail. I did that. They called back Monday morning to confirm, I said please cancel the plan. A few hours later they called again to confirm cancellation but I was not at my phone. I called back the number they left and was sent through a long list of menu options that ended in voice mail. I left a message to cancel the plan. They called again a 3rd time and by now I was aware this was a process. I answered and she was kind enough to explain that they had only cancelled the $20 admin fee, but the $59.95 A1 Perks fee was still in place. I asked her to please cancel it all. Collecting premiums and adding fees = A+, Paying out on the plan for medical costs = C-.

      The front end of the company is wonderful. Debbie and sarah were great and very helpful. But to get ahold of someone that handles claims is IMPOSSIBLE! Seriously need to work in that aspect! I'm paying you to do your job not for me to do your leg work in paying for my health claims!
